I've been up since 5:40am and have done my boys' clothes laundry, stripped their beds, cleaned their bathroom, and even offered to take them to the allergy friendly donut shop for breakfast...
Who am I? Thank goodness for that 2nd tri energy boost starting this week apparently!
OMG I'm so jealous of you @michaela0704! DD had a night where she would not sleep at all unless she was held and now I am exhausted and not looking forward to doing anything.
I am going to a bridal shower this morning for my future SIL. I am sure it will be very nice, but I work know many people and I have many other things I need to get done today. Tomorrow I am guessing will be my cleaning and grocery shopping day. Not too exciting for me this weekend.

Why do kids wake up earlier on weekends then during the week. Of course almost 2 hours after we've Been up my DH is still snoozing away.
I'm going to try not to be grumpy today because it's supposed to be 60 degrees and nice out. We have no plans. Now that I'm a SAHM sometimes I get a little bored on the weekends. We have a schedule, routine and activities during the week and for some reason weekends can be hard for me now. So weird.
@graceriesz and @CurlyMommy416 I am currently in a wardrobe crisis. I got cute leggings, but the top I was planning on wearing seems too dark for a bridal shower so now I am scrambling trying to decide. I will post something once I decide though! Thanks for thinking of me!

DS just woke up at 8:45a, we turned on cartoons and I fell asleep for another 30 minutes. This is a glorious morning. I'm still in bed and DH is in the kitchen having breakfast with DS.
It's going to be mid to high 40's today here...what the F weather?
Edit- @JessyKV sounds like a perfect day to spend outside and relax! Maybe a park and a picnic?!
DH got up with DS at 6, and let me sleep in for two hours. Now DS is down for his morning nap, and when he wakes up DH is going to take him to his parents' for a few hours. I can't even remember the last time I was home alone! SAHM heaven!
Last night my mom brought over some stuff she picked up at GAP for the LOs, and she got me a couple of cute fitted maternity v-necks! I'm going to do some laundry and try one out today.
Ladies.... I'm out at Starbucks and being super judgey. There's a dad here out with his five kids. Clearly giving mom the morning off or something. Anyway he's ordered them all caramel/ chocolate chip frappicinos and cake pops for breakfast! These kids are probably 2-7. They're dipping their cake pops in their coffee he's gonna have a fun rest of the day.

He's going to take them back home at the end of this and be all "your turn now!" to the mom.
My day thus far has been an episode of "Sh!t my toddler says."
Highlights have included: - Repeated yelling (starting during the 5am hour) of "my feet are cold, I need socks" - When I finally went in her room, I was informed: "I would like to eat cantaloupe in the cafe" (we started with breakfast at home) - Asking me the names of all of the random people in the grocery store cafe once we had purchased the cantaloupe

Meh, as long as it isn't an everyday thing, I don't see a problem with coffee and cake pops. I mean, I won't give me 2 y/o coffee, but we've gone to SBX on the weekend, DD1 (10) gets coffee (java chip frappe), the other two get smoothies and cake pops. It's not everyday or even every weekend.
I was supposed to meet my friend at the gym for a turbo kick class this morning. I ditched her because I didn't get home until 3am from babysitting! After lunch I'm going to her house for a massage! I'm not that excited about it since I can't lay on my stomach anymore. I'm skeptical! DH had to work today but we are going to watch a movie later. Tomorrow is cleaning, laundry, errands, boring adulting stuff...
We (by we I mean DH skis and I hang in the lodge and watch) had been planning on taking DS skiing this morning, but he decided to punch a kid at daycare yesterday so now he's not allowed to go anywhere.
Yesterday my husband told me he was meeting an old friend and he was bringing ds fishing with him. Sweet mommy jackpot...I was picturing naps and ice cream and silence. About an hour ago, he tells me he's bringing his wife and they are asking what's for lunch. Um. I guess I need to act social and whip up a meal, clean house and conversation with strangers now. I guess it sounds like fun to some, but I'm a quiet person, so I have to prepare myself for social situations like these. Awkward panda.
Thanks @CurlyMommy416@LAMCH1980 and @meilay! It was nice to get just myself ready for a change! And it may be more of a confession but I drove over to my sisters house to borrow those shoes barefoot this morning because I had nothing to wear!

We are cleaning, painting a crib, and reshuffling the house this weekend. We are turning our office into a nursery, and making the formal dining room (which we literally never use) into a big office, and turning the sun room into the dining room. So much to shuffle!
DS is being a pill today and I can't deal so I went to my parents house for back up since DH is at work. This is why I'll never move far away from home. I will forever need my mom and dad.
I'm laying on the couch all weekend. Trying to rest and get rid of all my upper back and neck pain. It's boaring and I have tons to do. However, I need to feel better for next week.
We settle on our house next month and our current rental is showing often. I hate having to keep my house clean all the time and remove my DD and dogs from the premises. We had one at 10, one at 12, and one at 1:30 today. And we have more on Monday and Tuesday. Someone just pick this place already.
We we are going out to eat with my parents tonight. It's at a bar (boo no beer) but they have the best crab fries so I'm into it. My DF is meeting up with a friend tonight so I will continue my new obsession with the show Parenthood.
I painted the nursery today! I got the trim done Wednesday, finished the pink this morning. Now tomorrow I'm going to put the blue stripes on one wall. I'm exhausted. I'm glad I'm getting it done though. I wouldn't have time to do it for at least two more weeks. I can't imagine how much harder it would be then.
Found out the husband will be a gone for a week, leaving on Wednesday. I guess it's good practice for him leaving for a month in March. I'm taking coffee donations now....
@awillis13 I love hibachi! So jealous! @LMMama what are crab fries?? I think I need those in my life.
Mom to Madison- 5 and Lillian 2....and now surprise baby #3!
@LAMCH1980@Stankonia2014 my DH wants to host a soccer game at our house and is giving me a weeks notice, I'm still like why tho. I'm a social person but the thought of playing nice host and not be able to go to my room and watch E! In bed is just too much.
@devow27 thanks! We did end up taking the kids to the park for an hour then sitting on the deck soaking in the sun while they played more in the yard. we also decided to have DH's cousins and their kids over for a cook out tonight. Nothing fancy. They have two kids close to our kids ages so it's fun.
I think I get down on the weekends here because we moved 2 ish hours away from all our friends and family a little over a year ago and I'm used to so much more social interaction. We were BFFs with our old neighbors too. It's been a transition socially. We had 3 sets of grandparents asking to babysit all the time and now we don't have that unless we go home or they come visit.
@awillis13 We also love hibachi! Asked DD what she wanted for dinner last night and she said "Rice! Um yeah... OK!" Which translates to: I would like hibachi, please and thank you.
Ladies my wedding anniversary is coming up in 2 weeks. What do you ladies do for your hubs on your anniversary. He doesn't want any "things" or more stuff.

We're big on gifting experiences rather than things. One year we went on a bourbon tour, one year we on a vacation. What sort of things is he into?

So I'm home with the other two girls. We are hanging out, cleaning, sewing, playing an absurd amount of hide and seek.
Tomorrow we are painting our entry way.
