@pumpkin0913 - Its always such a slap in the face when people talk just wanting a certain gender or a baby born in a certain month. Its like I just want a baby and I can't even get that!
@NYTino24 I know I've said it before but just miserable. Sorry you are going through it.
@pumpkin0913 wish I was there to slap them. Seriously everyone on this board just wants a baby. There was someone who posted in the ttc after 35 board about doing iui to get a boy. I believe she is also currently preg. Wtf?!

1. I'm new to the group. I MC'd at 10 weeks. My D&C was five days ago. Emotionally, I'm still pretty raw. From reading through posts to this group, it seems like the raw feelings could persist for a while.
2. Status - Benched. I have my first post D&C follow-up with my OB on 2/17. He's already said he doesn't recommend me waiting to TTC beyond these first two weeks.
3. Raves - My husband has been great. Usually he spouts good intentions about helping around the house and doesn't follow through, but over the last week he's really been getting stuff done and making my life easier, as well as providing a lot of emotional support.
4. GTKY: I cut myself some slack regarding food choices after getting the bad news about a week ago, but it's not making me feel any better. I'm ready to eat a more balanced diet now. My muscles feel weak to me and I want to be at least 10 pounds lighter and a good deal stronger when I get my BFP (hopefully). When I feel like I'm in a rut then strength training helps the most. And once I stop bleeding I want to get in at least one hot yoga class to stretch out my back and shoulders.

Hi @IvorySoapGirl I'm sorry for your loss, but welcome to the board. I'm glad you have a supportive husband! Mine is also the type that really comes through in a crisis.
**TW I am new to this board although I have lurked a bit the past month. Miscarried at 12 weeks just before Christmas. Finally got AF and am looking forward to being able to track this cycle.
2. Status- CD5 just waiting for AF to finish
3. Rants/Raves People expecting me just to "get over it" or get on with my life. Yes I am staying positive, but everytime I think I am okay again I have a breakdown lol. And sometimes I want to talk about it, not because I want people to be sympathetic or feel sorry for me but because I just want to acknowledge I do have a child (it was my first pregnancy). The "you should get pregnant" or "you would have such cute kids" makes me mad too, I know they mean well but it hurts everytime. Rant over, sorry but it's just been so annoying lately!
4. GTKY: How do you deal with an exercise/weight rut? If you're really trying to be healthy and yet your weight and measurements won't move. How do you overcome it?
I have to force myself to be strict on eating. That makes the biggest difference for me. Working out helps too but if I don't eat well it doesn't make much difference.
@Mack2342 Sorry about the coworker. That’s annoying. My second EDD is also in March. Hang in there! Passing EDDs is rough.

Sorry about the lady for her scan. Ppl
who take being PG for granted really grate the nerves!
TScalei
I remember the TTGP board had someone on there a year ago complaining about
trying to ‘time’ getting PG so that they didn’t have a Christmas baby. And those ladies justly pointed out that she
can do whatever she wants, but for many of us, we’d take any baby, any gender, born any day.
Thanks everyone for their info about the weight. It's been a weird/frustrating month for me. I put on 8 pounds over the holidays, dropped 4 pounds by late January, and then last week went up 5 pounds, which wouldn't budge for a week. But have dropped back down a few the past few days. I dunno what's up with that. Frustrating to be trying so hard and not seeing results. But you've encouraged me to keep at it! Thank you!!!

1. I'm not new, but as a recap for those who are new. *TW-LC mentioned* I had 2 CPs prior to my DD, who is now 14 months. I had a MMC in Dec 2016 with a D&C.
2. Status- CD 1, starting 3rd cycle TTCAL.
3. I'm having a hard time processing that I'm not pregnant again yet. I also hate feeling like I've got this deadline looming. My husband's deployment is sneaking up on us and it hurts to think that we won't get that BFP before he leaves and then we'll have to start all over when he gets home. And even then we'll only have 3-4 months to try before he leaves again. It just seems impossible while sitting at CD1.
4. I get so busy that I have to remind myself it is worth the time out of my day to work out. Mostly I settle for a 2-3 mile walk with our dog. It's the best I can do most days, but it makes me feel like I'm doing something to improve my health.
@pumpkin0913 it sucks that some people have that attitude towards having kids.
@NYTino24 That level of bleeding sounds horrible! I hope that your doctors have some solutions for you very soon!
@pumpkin0913 thanks so much. I appreciate that. It is good to have a community of women all going through the same thing (in different stages and circumstances) because at least here people understand.
Im so sorry to see you here @ivorysoapgirl and @perfectypo- its a club nobody wants to join but its a great group of women who really support and encourage eachother through such a tough time. Welcome!
@babypi- I just got a puppy in December and walking my dog and chasing her around my house lol totally counts as my work out! lol
@dpjennifer - My 2nd EDD is in March too - its crazy to think about passing another EDD milestone. I just can't believe all this time is going by and Im still ttc.
@IvorySoapGirl Welcome and sorry for your loss. It's sad to have more ladies joining us, but I'm glad your doc said you don't have to wait if you are ready. @Perfectypo I found that letting people know about our loss really helped. I hope you are starting to heal emotionally. It's a tough process for all of us.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
@IvorySoapGirl So sorry you are here but welcome. This place will bring you up when you are feeling down, especially because we can understand what you are going through. So glad your hubby is taking care of you.
@Perfectypo People are just dumb sometimes. I have mastered the subtle eye roll when I run into such people. I hope your stay with us is short.
@babypi I am right there with you with the looming deadline...the deadline being my age. I have never felt old before until ttc. I am a super young 36 but being of "advanced maternal age" just sounds horrible. They need to change that title already. And, walks with dogs are the best!
Went to OB yesterday and she is hopeful that I will get pregnant again on my own. She said the fact that you were 40 first time with successful pregnancy and 41 with 2nd she believes that now that my body seems to be back on track that it will happen but she also doesn't want me to spend another 6 months trying so she referred me to RE. I called today and now waiting for them to call back for an appointment. My doctor is so wonderful and it gave me hope
That's great news, @Mack2342! @BelhurstBride I'm doing better today. I'm shocked there is anything left. I guess the good news is I had an extremely thick lining this cycle.

@Mack2342 Wonderful news. FX you'll get your BFP before your appointment with RE comes. Hopefully my ob will be as great as yours with a referral in March when I see her.

Ugh I'm sitting here at dds dance and a mom I see every week I just noticed she's pregnant. Cue the tears. Damn I was doing so well the last week. Just another person pregnant again and here I am 8 months later since we started TTC and nothing.
Wish me luck. Tomorrow is one of the last visits I will have with this doctor and I'm going to try to not hit her idiot nurse with a blunt object. And since I haven't even STARTED to MC on my own, I'll find out if I'm getting the meds or if she'll recommend another D&C. I really don't want another D&C but I've heard horror stories about the medication. 2 MMC in a row...when they're supposed to be rare in and of themselves.
I did get a referral from my boss for a new OB an hour away who comes highly recommended by her friend who is an OB nurse at the hospital in that area. It will be worth the drive to find someone competent.
