@lilmissslp lol, you didn't scare me, just confirmed what I had thought I read. Afm: ***TW*** I have some non-fertility related crappy news I have to share because it's weighing on me. I am a 34 year old nurse, if you remember from intro my mom's mom passed away suddenly on Oct. 28. Devastating but was glad I wasn't pregnant then, and transfer moved forward anyway so I was pretty stress free by Jan. 16, transfer day. Yesterday, a week after my BFP my mom told me she has breast cancer:-( she was having her biopsy the week of transfer and decided to tell me yesterday. I'm very close to my mom and I completely lost it. I feel like I can't catch a break. I'm aware for the need to not stress and my DH has been supportive and will keep a good eye on me, but sh!+, this sucks.

@becauselove thanks for checking in on me I'm doing well! I'm tired and I'm definitely not eating my normal diet but overall my symptoms are VERY minimal- I feel so lucky, especially since there's 2 in me!! I have an ultrasound 2/14 and then I graduate to my OB. My last progesterone lab was 25 and RE wants it at 35, so continuing meds for now! I bought a great book about having multiples on Amazon and am trying to really educate myself about what's to come! Still all very surreal.

@joslynj11 TWW has been smooth so far! I woke up this morning and it feels like my boobs were used as a punching bag last night, but that has happened off and on throughout taking these hormones. Yesterday I started looking at baby clothing/decor shops online, but stopped because I was scared to jinx myself. Pottery Barn Kids is soooo cute adorable though!

@lilmissslp I get the sense that they are somewhat optimistic but not completely sold that it's a viable pregnancy yet. The nurse was more optimistic when I talked to her about my hcg this afternoon vs this morning with just the scan.

@BecauseLove Thanks for checking on me hun! My U/S went well, they saw a gestational sac and yolk sac so I feel very happy and lucky we were able to see things progressing. I go back next week when I'll be 7w2d to check for cardiac activity. Nervous because I feel mostly normal (minimally sore boobs, rare fleeting moments of nausea, crazy bloat). When I told my RE that, he said it's still pretty early so either I'll be lucky to go on to have minimal symptoms or I'll be eating my words in a couple weeks

I have some non-fertility related crappy news I have to share because it's weighing on me. I am a 34 year old nurse, if you remember from intro my mom's mom passed away suddenly on Oct. 28. Devastating but was glad I wasn't pregnant then, and transfer moved forward anyway so I was pretty stress free by Jan. 16, transfer day.
Yesterday, a week after my BFP my mom told me she has breast cancer:-( she was having her biopsy the week of transfer and decided to tell me yesterday. I'm very close to my mom and I completely lost it.
I feel like I can't catch a break. I'm aware for the need to not stress and my DH has been supportive and will keep a good eye on me, but sh!+, this sucks.

@lilmissslp I get the sense that they are somewhat optimistic but not completely sold that it's a viable pregnancy yet. The nurse was more optimistic when I talked to her about my hcg this afternoon vs this morning with just the scan.

@BecauseLove Thanks for checking on me hun! My U/S went well, they saw a gestational sac and yolk sac so I feel very happy and lucky we were able to see things progressing. I go back next week when I'll be 7w2d to check for cardiac activity. Nervous because I feel mostly normal (minimally sore boobs, rare fleeting moments of nausea, crazy bloat). When I told my RE that, he said it's still pretty early so either I'll be lucky to go on to have minimal symptoms or I'll be eating my words in a couple weeks
@Worldtravler0522 I've seen so many stories online of women spotting/bleeding only to go on to have healthy pregnancies but I totally get it, it's scary. I'm happy that your hcg looks good and keeping my fingers crossed that your little fighter keeps fighting!
