1. All-Clad Anodized Non-Stick Pots/Pans. They're so expensive so I've just been buying them in pieces. Right now I have 2 pans and 1 pot.

2. My cast iron skillets. They are life.

3. This spatula, I love this spatula.

Potato ricers are amazing. They can be messy, but you just put cooked potatoes in and squeeze them out onto a plate. No need to mash. So light and fluffy!

I do a lot of baking, and my Kitchen Aid mixer is a life saver, especially if I'm doing big quantities.

I just got my first Le Crueset piece as a belated wedding present. I haven't had a reason to use it, but I can't wait!

Everything by Le Creuset. It is the greatest for literally all my cooking needs. I rarely use anything but them for anything other than frying an egg. And its all robins egg blue in my kitchen.

My knief set (Calphalon self sharpening) was probably the #1 item on my wedding registry that I wanted when my DH and I got married this past summer and I am very happy with it. Other then that I couldn't live without my garlic press! It's definitely worth the money to buy a good heafty garlic press vs the chepo ones that are made mostlly out of plastic.

I adore this whole thread. Kitchen gadgets are on my short list of things I want to acquire/upgrade so this definitely gives me a ton of ideas! Good idea @Everycol0r !

I don't really have a favorite, but my parents and my brother both swear by their NuWave Induction Cooktops. Mine is still sitting in the box (oops!).

I love my kitchen aid mixer and have my heart set on slowly acquiring all the attachments for it. I have a slight obsession with kitchen gadgets so I won't name everything I have.

I cook homemade dinners daily and I can't think of a single thing I couldn't live without except a decent knife. I have three Henckels and that's all I use. I like our pots and pans (Cuisinart stainless) but it isn't love. Hmm. I use our Hamilton Beach slow cooker several times a week. I dunno. I guess I am not overly attached to any one thing. Oh! How could I forget. My Melitta pour over coffee filter. It is vintage porcelain and I love it. I drink homemade pour over coffee almost exclusively. I love that thing.

I'm definitely with all of you on the KitchenAid mixer. It is one of the greatest tools ever invented for humanity

I splurged and got the spiralizer attachment for myself for Christmas, so I've been obsessed with making zoodles.
@Tennis11785 YES! Instant Pot is so fantastic. Just made vegetarian chili in it last night.

I also love my immersion blender stick, Emeril pots/pans, and Global knives.

Oh how could I forget about my kitchen knives. We have Calphalon Katana Series which is excessive $$ but we used wedding money to buy them. Worth every penny.

@AlohaKumu I got the spiralizer attachment a little over a year ago and it's amazing! I make zoodles a lot. I also like it for sweet potatoes. The cook so much faster when they're spiralized.

@kaitlink33 The ninja really is the best. I use it make cauliflower mash.

@KariAnn323 @AlohaKumu I'm with you on the spiralizer attachment to the kitchenais. DH has celiac disease and diabetes and thank God for zoodles because I can still eat red meat sauce without the carbs!

Also, if you are a spiralizing fan, look up the blog/website "inspiralized" I also own the cookbook and it's amazing for healthy and quick recipes

My KitchenAid mixer, wusthof knife set, and my Alaskan ulu knife my parents brought me back from Alaska. That thing is amazing for just about everything. It's like a mezzaluna but smaller and handier.

@jsnakehole I can't wait till we move and I can have room for a kitchen aid. I use my dutch oven for wings, bread, stove top browning or stir fry, soups/stews, pretty much everything

@kiwi2628 My dutch oven is in the Marseille color and can't wait till I get more.

@Tennis11785 I want to get an instant pot when we move. We have a crock pot but the crock gets this weird yellow powdery mold. It's stored dry and in the box but idk what happens. I bleached it but I'm scared to use it. I think the glaze is cracked or something and I'm worried the mold is still in the cracks.

@JJMNO1616 I have 1 knife that I like. It's super cheap but works for everything. It's convinced me that good sharp knives are a must.

For me it's my Le Creuset enameled dutch oven. I got the 7 qt one so it's usually big for most jobs but I'd rather have big than small. Plus I usually cook to have left overs. I'm holding off on buying new kitchen things because we're moving in a few months.

DH is in the kitchen right now making his lunches for the week. He's struggling hard core. Had to ask me where the can opener is and then apparently can't follow directions because he drained the chili beans which had the sauce he needed for his chili mac.

I also use our b&d toaster oven for Everything. Ooh! And lately my new favourite thing is my mandoline, DH got me for Christmas. I have literally used it every day since!

@hartmich @heatherdubrow - yes!! I joined a fb group about the instantpot, and so people share recipes there all the time and it's been a wealth of knowledge. Last night I made fall apart tender pulled pork in less than 2 hours!

I love, love, love my KitchenAid mixer. I use it to make pizza dough, and it always turns out great. I also have a cheap little slow cooker that I got from walmart for like $25 about 6 or 7 years ago that is still going strong. However, after this thread I think I want an instant pot!

This thread has convinced me that I hate the pots and pans set we registered for and I'm like 99% sure I am going to try returning them this weekend. That just means we need to buy replacements this weekend too

Instant Pot! I got it on Prime Day last summer and use it soooo much! I've made all the usual stuff, plus I use it to make yogurt, cheesecake, rice, beans, hardboiled eggs. I love that I can do big batches of stuff (like the rice or beans) and they turn out perfect so I can freeze smaller portions for quick dinners. Beef stew in 20ish minutes, risotto with no stirring. I love that thing.

lol I read that the incredients to make yogurt in an instant pot are = yogurt.

@Everycol0r Lol sort of. You use milk (I use whole), and you have to inoculate it with some yogurt. About 2 tablespoons for a half gallon of milk. Then you can kind of "customize" it depending on how long you heat the milk (makes it thicker, like Greek), flavorings if you want, etc.

@Everycol0r - ha. Yes yogurt is one of the ingredients to make yogurt, but it's not the only ingredient. You need a little bit a yogurt to get the right bacteria/cultures to make the yogurt form. So one little thing of yogurt turns into a giant vat of yogurt.
