@mandasand, you got this. Estrogen priming starts slow and you get more as it goes on. So try to not stress too much at the first one and even second appt. I know that's impossible. we will all be with you in spirit!!
well my RE called me herself yesterday and I really appreciated that. She was hoping for 7 based on my follie size. Well i got 11!!! Not sure if they are all mature yet, but we will hear tomorrow. I literally cried happy tears. After a cancellation and 2 eggs in IVF 2, I didn't think this was possible. Thanks for all support, you ladies are the best!

Thanks for the encouragement everyone. One of my friends is able to come with me. I'm a survivor! I'm strong! I'ts too bad my husband is not being supportive but I think this can happen with so many years on infertility. Our foundation is strong and I know he is committed to us but he's being a butthead right now! I'm hoping once we get closer to retrieval he'll warm up. I've been no picnic lately, it's been a tough couple of months!
I will I'll be taking vacation days for my whole IVF cycle, I think 16 working days total so I'm glad I'm doing that!

as for me, I had 8 mature eggs and 6 fertilized with ICSI! Very happy to have 6 but nervous to hear the update tomorrow! Based on how we are looking tomorrow, we will decide on if we will do day 3 or day 5. Still so many steps to go through! How does anyone ever get pregnant?!

Thanks ladies!! I am so thrilled that all 6 are developing properly as of today!! We will do a day 5 transfer on Sunday but so nervous how they will keep doing!! I'll be thrilled to get 2 to blast and be able to transfer. I don't necessarily want twins but it would be my best bet to have two children probably. Dr just called, the first results came in, they're was nothing wrong chromosome wise with the baby and it was a girl. I'm just saw heartbroken and angry!! Today is 3 weeks and it just isn't getting any easier. I never faulted myself until now. My body should've held onto to her she was fine. We assume she was baby B as nothing came after her. The first one didn't deliver the same way and I just don't know what happened. I was in labor should I have gone to the hospital sooner, could they have given me something that would've helped calm my body down and keep her safe inside. Losing both just kills me. I'm just so angry!
Sorry for venting but many cant understand my loss or this process. This shouldn't have happened and no one can explain it.

@hopeful_mom- I am so heartbroken for you. You have every right to be mad and angry and want to scream and cry. But try not to blame yourself. This is in NO way your fault and I don't think you or the hospital or anything could have changed this unfortunately. Were they able to give you any other answers? Maybe baby A was not chromosome normal and that caused the miscarriage of both? I hope you are able to take some time off and be kind to yourself. I know nothing would make me feel better in this situation, but we are all praying for you. The only positive I can see is that you know you have some good eggs now and were able to get pregnant with a chromosomally normal baby, so hopefully you will be able to get pregnant again!

Today was transfer day! We got there and the embryologist told us only 2 of the 6 had grow past 6 cells. One was an early blast and one was still compacting before a blast. At this stage they don't give them grades yet. We were a little dissapointed but at least we had two contenders to transfer. During transfer the embriologist came back in and told my husband that they were looking better and growing since she had looked at them earlier in the morning. She seemed pretty happy about this so it made us feel better that they are still growing even if they seemed a little behind earlier. Just taking it easy now and praying so hard that at least one sticks! Beta is wed 2/8... I won't POAS until at least next Sunday or later. Thanks for checking on me ladies

@ hopeful_mom- it was nice to not have to decide about how many to transfer. Everyone thought doing the 2 was the smartest move. Wish there were some to freeze of course, but hopefully I wouldn't need those anyways! I have never tried the pineapple thing.. I feel like I. Have heard some mixed reviews. I am trying to eat healthy, stay warm and be as stress free as possible. Also going to accupuncture tomorrow. Hopefully it all enough!

@JamieH2000 I'm hanging in there. They did an estrogen blood test this morning and said they wanted to see levels > 200. I just got the results and mine is 54 so I've been told to put on 3 additional estradiol patches. My nurse said that this isn't an indication of whether or not I'm pregnant and that they test this early so that they can correct things if necessary but I can't help but feeling that this means I'm totally out again.
@20T you're still in it! I never know what the estrogen is suppose to be when pregnant.

@jamieh2000 was reading more about the pineapple core, read nothing bad, i'd give it a try, its like just having some pineapple juice, I split the whole pineapple into 7 days and had one a day. hope your acupuncture went well too!

Hopeful_mom I've been a little quiet on the boards lately. Things are going well, but I just don't really know where I fit in right now. The IF boards feel like "home" but I also don't want to be triggering anyone. And most days, it still doesn't feel real! We've had a couple little scares so dr is keeping a close eye. well my RE called me herself yesterday and I really appreciated that. She was hoping for 7 based on my follie size. Well i got 11!!! Not sure if they are all mature yet, but we will hear tomorrow. I literally cried happy tears. After a cancellation and 2 eggs in IVF 2, I didn't think this was possible. Thanks for all support, you ladies are the best!

Thanks for the encouragement everyone. One of my friends is able to come with me. I'm a survivor! I'm strong! I'ts too bad my husband is not being supportive but I think this can happen with so many years on infertility. Our foundation is strong and I know he is committed to us but he's being a butthead right now! I'm hoping once we get closer to retrieval he'll warm up. I've been no picnic lately, it's been a tough couple of months!
I will I'll be taking vacation days for my whole IVF cycle, I think 16 working days total so I'm glad I'm doing that!

Dr just called, the first results came in, they're was nothing wrong chromosome wise with the baby and it was a girl.
now. My body should've held onto to her she was fine. We assume she was baby B as nothing came after her. The first one didn't deliver the same way and I just don't know what happened. I was in labor should I have gone to the hospital sooner, could they have given me something that would've helped calm my body down and keep her safe inside. Losing both just kills me. I'm just so angry!
Sorry for venting but many cant understand my loss or this process. This shouldn't have happened and no one can explain it.

@hopeful_mom- I am so heartbroken for you. You have every right to be mad and angry and want to scream and cry. But try not to blame yourself. This is in NO way your fault and I don't think you or the hospital or anything could have changed this unfortunately. Were they able to give you any other answers? Maybe baby A was not chromosome normal and that caused the miscarriage of both? I hope you are able to take some time off and be kind to yourself. I know nothing would make me feel better in this situation, but we are all praying for you. The only positive I can see is that you know you have some good eggs now and were able to get pregnant with a chromosomally normal baby, so hopefully you will be able to get pregnant again!

@ hopeful_mom- it was nice to not have to decide about how many to transfer. Everyone thought doing the 2 was the smartest move. Wish there were some to freeze of course, but hopefully I wouldn't need those anyways! I have never tried the pineapple thing.. I feel like I. Have heard some mixed reviews. I am trying to eat healthy, stay warm and be as stress free as possible. Also going to accupuncture tomorrow. Hopefully it all enough!
