TTC#2 April 2019We're big Packers fans here too. My grandfather's family is from Wisconsin and my grandfather was a scouter for the Packers way back in the day. I'm really hoping that beat Atlanta this afternoon - it's going to be close if last week is any indication of their performances.
Before re the game we're going to a party in a restaurant where the clientele is old school enough that DH thinks BF is a bad idea. We have no bottles. What's a mom to do? Excuse herself to the car? He thinks even my super covered up nursing that I do in public places would be offensive, but unless you're staring, how would you know?

TTC#2 April 2019I have no skin in the game for the playoffs though I'll watch bc I like football. I used to love college basketball the most but now I don't really care about it and I'm all about football.

You could watch this! Haha I found it funny.
I lost all modesty after that. I figured half the neighborhood saw my boobs that day, might as well let the other half have a look.
bummed about the Packers. That game was just plain depressing.

TTC#2 April 2019I'm afraid my little guy would be too tiny for my BOB stroller just strapped in.
I have read that it's good to have multiple strollers. I have the Bob, a frame stroller, and a upgraded umbrella stroller.

TTC#2 April 2019I don't plan to take car seat on plane bc I don't want to buy a ticket for him. I was considering baseless install in my parents car if I take my seat.
And perhaps unsolicited, but we traveled with our, at the time, 20 month old and opted to not purchase her a seat and it went smoothly. She cuddled up in my lap and in between us with the arm rest up and we were good to go. I say save the money while you can.

TTC#2 April 2019And we are carrier people all the way. You have your hands, it's not bulky, stairs are never an issue, LO can see above everyone else's knees, and you can't walk away from anything because it's attached.

Daddy and Me Board Book
Also so I think I'm in a maternity leave slump. There's way too much couch, breastfeeding, binge watching going on but it's so cold out that other than shopping I don't have too many ideas (and I hate shopping). I've been thinking about taking LO to the gym daycare so I can workout but I A. Don't really trust them and B. Am pretty sure he will cry relentlessly, which means they'll come get me and I won't be able to workout anyway. Suggestions welcome!

And for what it's worth, I mentioned joining the YMCA and leaving M in their daycare to his pediatrician. She recommended waiting until March since the flu is borderline epidemic levels. We have all these snowbirds bringing it with them from up north but if you're in an area where it's prevalent I'd probably wait anyway. I had the flu last year and I wouldn't wish it on anyone and definitely not on a two month old. I for sure get the temptation though because I desperately want to work out too and can't figure out how with M attached to me all the time.

I mean really... Just go to sleep, baby! You don't need to scream about a nap!
I don't go back until March and am already trying to talk myself into accepting what's going to happen. I'm also already thinking logistics as this one is a little less easy (still no bottles being taken here).
