Not gonna fully participate in this thread today because it's pointless with whatever my body is doing, but wanted to make sure everyone is taking Vitamin D in addition to a prenatal Vitamin no matter if you are TTA, in WTO, TWW, or KU. I got info from the OB/Gyn. Would have been nice to get before the fact.

CS/Q: So when you temp, you're supposed to have 3 solid hours of sleep right? And you're supposed to temp the same time every day +/-30 minutes? Because that is never going to happen for me. DH gets up at 4:30 every day and wakes me up. 5:30 to say goodbye. 7:30 my alarm goes off. Which is fine, I'll just temp at 4:30. But goddammit if I haven't woken up between 2 and 3 AM every night since I got this termometer. At what point do you just give up temping for the cycle? /rant

@LoveInDC I wouldn't give up on temping too quick. I would give it at least one full cycle and if you have trouble seeing the temp shift then maybe stop. I've heard some people are still able to see a temp shift with situations like yours.

I was up until midnight last night working on it and only made it through half of the first chapter. To top it off, I think I'm going to have to cancel one of our employee benefit fundraisers as work because after researching it further, I'm starting to think its NOT covered by our charitable raffle license and our state is one of like 3 in the union that doesn't make exceptions for work fundraisers. @LoveInDC -Ugh... sorry for the man-cold. As far as the temping goes- yes, 3 hours of sleep, and I believe I read temp within 1 hour to be consistent. But, I also think it depends on the person. I noticed that I can temp with a little more leeway and probably trust my temps. I've gotten up to get my dog (who likes to bark in the middle of the night) and gone back to be- temp at 4:30 and have it be "normal". But that's me. I also noticed drinking doesn't really affect my temps. Travel on the other hand.. Even if I'm spot-on every day, travel messes with it big time for me.

@lulu1180I can relate way too much to what you wrote. I always thought I'd be chilled and NTNP (rather than actively TTC) as soon as we'd decide to TTC. Then we got closer to when we wanted to try and I started getting stressed that we wouldn't be able to make it (*TW* around the same time, I found out SIL had struggled to GP due to her H's MFI, which made my anxiety worse *end TW*). Now that we have been trying for a few months without success, I really fear for the worst. Even though I secretly hoped my fear would come to nothing, I am starting to come to terms with the fact that they are most likely becoming true.
@NYTino24 thanks for the link! I had actually just come across some articles linking vit D with better fertility for women and better sperm for men, so I might give it a try!
@LoveInDC I second what @lulu1180 said about temping. I was convinced it was not for me/I couldn't do it but I am glad I tried one full cycle and now it will be hard to give it up. The insight is amazing.
Sorry for CD1 @hartmich , I am glad you can move on with testing though

@LoveInDC I also have a hard time getting accurate temps due to my schedule, H's schedule and traveling. Even with all the randomness of it I feel like I Still see a shift between pre and post O temps.
@lulu1180 I am right there with you being so jealous of women who just get ktfu without a glitch. And I'm annoyed with people who think it's going to just go as planned, especially when they know the shit I've gone through.I have a girlfriend who just got married. She's 35 and wants to travel to x and y together, buy a house first, not be pregnant over the summer, etc etc before they try-because obviously she'll just get ku first try. so I punched her. (In my head.)
M/C:14/4 TTCAL
CD:4
WAYDTGKU: The usual but after this thread I'm thinking I should add in some more vit d
R/R: during TWW everything means I'm KU. Everything. Oh what's that? My ears ringing, I have gas.. must be ku. During WTO I'm more like, what's this? My ear is ringing, I have gas?...this shit is annoying. Strange how that works.

GTKY: Teachers
Edit:I'm a moron
TTC #1 November 2016
50mg Clomid June 2017
BFP June, 21 2017 | EDD March 4, 2018
@kaitlink33 How long is your typical period? It's probably just CM tinged brown by old blood (after 12 hours I imagine it would dry and turn brown) and your period is on its way out. I think infections are typically characterized by an odor. It's possible to have some EWCM during your period. I wouldn't worry about it.
@WildMagelet I'm so old, I know all these movies! The Fly is a creepy movie where Jeff Goldblum gets caught in a transporter machine with a fly, so when he's transported to the other transporter his DNA is mixed with the fly's and he turns into a human/fly hybrid. I have no idea why it was so popular.
@sbarluccico The "It Starts With the Egg" author recommends men take a Ubiquinol/CoQ10 supplement as well as women. My doc also recommended an antioxidant blend that of course his practice sells, but he also said he could take a cocktail of antioxidants separately (but of course his blend was cheaper!).
@heatherdubrow How exciting! I'd be excited too!
Month/Cycle: 7/7
CD: 14
WAYDTGKU: BBT, OPKs, PNVs, ubiquinol, melatonin
R/R: The melatonin is really helping with my sleep. I'm going to give some to my mom, she told me she hasn't been sleeping much lately. Rant: I think I'm getting a cold, just as I was super excited to be back into a workout routine. This is what threw me off in December!! What gives, immune system??
CS/Q: Nope
GTKY: What was the #1 movie on the day you were born (https://playback.fm/birthday-movie)?
Kramer vs. Kramer. I'm nervously awaiting someone saying "The Lion King." Then I'll be all
ETA: @lulu1180 I feel you. I had the same thoughts. It's never going to happen for me, while all around me women are getting pregnant with no problem. I still feel like that, but it's not such an overwhelming feeling anymore, more just a fleeting bitterness

@WillRunForWine21. So sorry to see you back so soon... ❤
I'm sorry you had to see that. Even when you know the outcome, it is never fair nor fun to see it blatently written in text. Hugs!
@NYTino24
Thank you for the vitamin D reminder. Unfortunately I had not thought about that. Thankful for you!
@adirat

@kiwi2628
I need to chug the water today too... But with the water, comes the bathroom trips. That counts as exercise right? Just kidding, kind of.
@LoveInDC
Why are man colds so much worse? How can we as women get all the things done. I tell my DH he better pop a sudafed and drink some OJ before I hear a complaint.
@ag90
