@NYTino24 I'm so sorry your body is being a jerk.  Thank you so much for the information on vitamin D, looks like I have some research to do on another vitamin to add to my growing list!

Thanks for all the love yesterday guys, it made me feel better. I am feeling low but better today.

@lulu1180 All the creepy internet hugs! Don't worry you're not the only one. *TW* I have a friend who has smoked and drank during each of her five pregnancies and came home with a perfectly healthy baby each time. I love her and I try not to pass judgement on her parenting skills (or lack there of), but whenever I see her I usually want to scream that it's not fair. *End TW*

@NYTino24 I'm sorry your body is being a TW. The cycle after a loss is the worst. Whether you start TTC right away or not you just want it to at least go back to normal so you can figure out WTF is going on. Lots of love and hugs.

@adirat GL at your RE appt!

R/R: Rave: Tons of EWCM yesterday! Possible temp jump today (yesterday was 97.1 I thought I read 97.28 this morning but when I went to double check later it said the last reading was 97.7 so we'll just have to wait and see what happens tomorrow). I'm hoping the temp jump is real, we're going out of town Thursday afternoon to a convention in the middle of no where WI. We're sharing a room because when we booked I thought I was a super special snowflake and obviously I would be KU by now. Rant: Just ready for Thursday so I can go on vacation.

@lulu1180 I can see how that would be really frustrating, and I'm so sorry you're going through all of that

@kiwi2628 glad you're feeling better today, hope today is a great day at work

    Month/Cycle: 1/1

WAYDTGKU: PNV, fish oil, HIO (*TMI* unprotected for the first time ever, was definitely an interesting experience for us both, especially since I stayed celibate until our wedding and have been trying to get used to it anyway - attempting a baby should definitely help that!), light temping/charting. I want to know what's going on with my cycle but don't want to stress too much yet.

    R/R:
Rave: Because of this wonderful board and the crazy smart people on it, I decided to ask my dr for prescription PNVs and I'm sooo happy I did! They were FREE because insurance covers them, I know they have all the vitamins I'm supposed to have, and they are easier to take than the ones I was originally using. AMAZING.

@lulu1180 - That's the thing, I haven't taken my temp at all! I don't know when I should. I keep saying "Tonight was a fluke. I don't want bad data in there. I'll just temp tomorrow when I sleep though the night." And then I don't. Should I temp at 4:30 whether I've had an hour of sleep or three? Or should I temp when I've had 3 hours of sleep regardless of what time it is? I'm so confused!  :s

@LoveInDC I would just start tomorrow and take it at 4:30 if that is your normal waking time.  I would just make sure to temp as soon as you wake up, do not lay there for several minutes, do not hit snooze, do not pass go, do not collect $200 lol.  Seriously though, when I started temping, I would hit snooze and then take my temp when my alarm went off again and my temps were really rocky; I noticed when I stopped hitting snooze that they were a lot less rocky barring a night of bad sleep.

@lulu1180 - Sorry about the rough start to your day :(  I used be a POAS junkie every time my cycle would go long until one day I just decided I couldn't take the heartache anymore.

    Month/Cycle: 19/18

    WAYDTGKU: All the things

R/R:  Morning sucks so far.  As predicated, DH was gone when I got up.  This week of class is kicking my ass already,  I know it's a condensed course but really reading, taking notes, and studying 4 textbook chapters sounds awful.  I was up until midnight last night working on it and only made it through half of the first chapter.  To top it off, I think I'm going to have to cancel one of our employee benefit fundraisers as work because after researching it further, I'm starting to think its NOT covered by our charitable raffle license and our state is one of like 3 in the union that doesn't make exceptions for work fundraisers.  I'm going to call the county this morning to make sure :(  On the bright side we didn't start until yesterday so giving everybody their donations back should be simple and painless.

GTKY: What was the #1 movie on the day you were born (https://playback.fm/birthday-movie)?  Some movie called "The Fly".  I haven't seen it, but I imagine it's one of those B-movies about giant bugs.

@lulu1180I can relate way too much to what you wrote. I always thought I'd be chilled and NTNP (rather than actively TTC) as soon as we'd decide to TTC. Then we got closer to when we wanted to try and I started getting stressed that we wouldn't be able to make it (*TW* around the same time, I found out SIL had struggled to GP due to her H's MFI, which made my anxiety worse *end TW*). Now that we have been trying for a few months without success, I really fear for the worst. Even though I secretly hoped my fear would come to nothing, I am starting to come to terms with the fact that they are most likely becoming true. <3

@NYTino24 thanks for the link! I had actually just come across some articles linking vit D with better fertility for women and better sperm for men, so I might give it a try!

@LoveInDC I second what @lulu1180 said about temping. I was convinced it was not for me/I couldn't do it but I am glad I tried one full cycle and now it will be hard to give it up. The insight is amazing.

Sorry for CD1 @hartmich , I am glad you can move on with testing though

@kaitlink33 What is your 'blood pattern' usually? I am asking because I 2 days heavy, then 1 day light, then 1 day medium and then spotting+mucus for a day and it looks similar to what you describe (I also use a cup).

At the moment, DH is not taking anything (even though he eats quite healthy) but I'd like him to have the best chances possible. His SA came back good except for a 5% morph, (but that was just about within the parameters of normality anyways) and I have been wondering what he should be taking.

@KariAnn323 Hopefully you O'd already and your timing works.. but just to be safe-sneak of with H somewhere and have a quickie. I find it so hard to have romantic FW sex and this could be a little spicy!!

@LoveInDC I also have a hard time getting accurate temps due to my schedule, H's schedule and traveling. Even with all the randomness of it I  feel like I Still see a shift between pre and post O temps.

@lulu1180 I am right there with you being so jealous of women who just get ktfu without a glitch. And I'm annoyed with people who think it's going to just go as planned, especially when they know the shit I've gone through.I have a girlfriend who just got married. She's 35 and wants to travel to x and y together, buy a house first, not be pregnant over the summer, etc etc before they try-because obviously she'll just get ku first try. so I punched her. (In my head.)

@LoveInDC I routinely wake up around 2/3 to pee, and H's alarm goes off at 5 and I temp and it's worked. Waking up won't mess with your temps enough to cause a problem. With temping the time is important, not the sleep, so take it at 4:30 even if you wake up. If you end up with wonky temps then so be it, but I have a feeling it'll work just fine. You could also consider temping vaginally to avoid the variable of mouth breathing.

@kaitlink33 How long is your typical period? It's probably just CM tinged brown by old blood (after 12 hours I imagine it would dry and turn brown) and your period is on its way out. I think infections are typically characterized by an odor. It's possible to have some EWCM during your period. I wouldn't worry about it.

@WildMagelet I'm so old, I know all these movies! The Fly is a creepy movie where Jeff Goldblum gets caught in a transporter machine with a fly, so when he's transported to the other transporter his DNA is mixed with the fly's and he turns into a human/fly hybrid. I have no idea why it was so popular.

@sbarluccico The "It Starts With the Egg" author recommends men take a Ubiquinol/CoQ10 supplement as well as women. My doc also recommended an antioxidant blend that of course his practice sells, but he also said he could take a cocktail of antioxidants separately (but of course his blend was cheaper!).

@heatherdubrow How exciting! I'd be excited too!

    Month/Cycle: 7/7

WAYDTGKU: BBT, OPKs, PNVs, ubiquinol, melatonin

R/R: The melatonin is really helping with my sleep. I'm going to give some to my mom, she told me she hasn't been sleeping much lately. Rant: I think I'm getting a cold, just as I was super excited to be back into a workout routine. This is what threw me off in December!! What gives, immune system??

ETA: @lulu1180 I feel you. I had the same thoughts. It's never going to happen for me, while all around me women are getting pregnant with no problem. I still feel like that, but it's not such an overwhelming feeling anymore, more just a fleeting bitterness :) I think meeting with the RE, getting a plan, then taking each step has helped me come to terms with it. Hugs :)
