@emgem819 Because we already have twins we would prefer not to have another set. (the DH is mostly against that) RE doesn't suggest that we transfer 2 again. Our first 2 FET's we only transferred 1 both were duds. So the new plan of action is a late FET (I guess 11:15 is late). My embryos are the first to be thawed that morning. Just before transfer we will determine how well they have developed and transfer the best of the 2. The other gets watched for 24hrs and possibly refroze the following day. FET #3 1 didn't make it for more than 2 hrs after thawed so 3 ended up being thawed. We put in the best one and got a call that the other didn't make it to rethaw. That round I had a CP. Now if both are not so pretty looking I have the option to thaw another one or just put both in and hope for the best.

Just heard from the doctor!!! I'm preggo and my Beta was an 87! I was thinking it would be lower since I'm only 7 dpt but hey I will take that 87! i go again on Monday for Beta #2 hoping for quadruple that #.

@BecauseLove Lurking but wanted to say congrats! I'm following you because I am doing now a similar protocol for ER and around the same age. Did you do ICSI or regular? I need to decide what I want to do (my RE says ICSI all the way but I'd like to try half with normal fertilization).
bestofjoy Awesome! I totally board stocked people with similar info too so I totally get it. I would totally do ICSI all the way with all of them (but then again I don't know differently). CCRM recommend ICSI and said it improved our chances of success (we don't have any male fertility issues). I will take that all day long. We went from 30 mature eggs down to 16 that were fertilized using ICIS.
We did CCS (which is PGS but with a different name)- will you be doing testing?
Have you had a follie count US during your stims?
We ended up with 8 that grew to day 5 and were good grades and ended up with only 3 that tested normal. Honestly I never expected us to have only 3 after we started with 35+ but so glad we aren't wasting our time with non tested eggos.
Its totally up to you though-your gut is the one to always follow. Keep in touch! I would love to hear it all goes for you! Us TTGP ladies need to stick together!

bestofjoy Well my best advice to you for ER is to eat a lot of prunes...the biggest pain I had was going the bathroom with my ovaries so stuffed full! Wishing you the very best! So exciting! Hopefully you will get awesome news in not to long!

i have totally been MIA recently- I'm sorry. Congrats to the bfps, so exciting.
I had my transfer today. The first embryo they thawed did not make it, so they ended up transferring an Expanded Blastocyst but it had a BB rating. I'm a little stressed with the rating (my bfp last time was with an AA, so that is what I was hoping for).
How much stock should I put into the grading? We did not do PGD.
@Lauren3617 I think grading is something to consider but not something to live by. A friend of mine got a BFP of an embryo the doctor didn't even think was good enough to get one. You never know!

@jodes727 and @lauren3617 congratulations on the transfers yesterday! @lauren3617, just to echo some of the other comments, my RE said that grading wasn't a huge factor in overall success. My office does a different grading system, but he said that grades 1 and 2 had the same success rates.

Welp I'm done. A nervous wreck and my DH is asking for a stiff drink and some time at the casino. The embroyologist came in. 1 was expanding the other not so much. After she left DH said f it just transfer both. Called my RE in for advice and he said let's do this. So we did it we transferred 2!!!!! Ahh!!! I'm not suppose to tell anyone and I just lied to my bestie but here we go. The decision of 1 or 2 is harder when you already have 2.

After my transfer yesterday I asked my acupuncturist about any foods he would now recommend and he said: pineapple core, lamb, lobster, beef bone broth and continue to stay away from cold food. So as I sit here sipping my beef bone broth, I thought I'd share .
I've been lurking this thread for a while now, I was supposed to start IVF in Jan, so I started following you all. I'm delayed after insurance denied the IVF, saying I need to do 6 medicated cycles first (thanks for the heads up! I already had my meds ordered for IVF, so I'm doing my 4th IUI now). But I just wanted to say this thread has made me smile, and cry, and laugh almost every day. It's amazing how supportive and helpful complete strangers can be (although, I think infertility automatically makes us all sisters by default). Anyway, I'm rooting so hard for all of you!!

So news on my front is that my Beta #2 was 215.6 48 hours later. Our Ultrasound Date will be Feb 3rd. Totally happy and super anxious all at once. Very hard to trust this and feel safe. Thank you all for your awesome support on this journey! It has really meant a ton!!

I tried to wait for the blood beta but who was I kidding....we have wanted to be pregnant like 2 years ago so I've already run out of patience. Found 3 dollar store cheapies in my bathroom and just took one and there is actually a very faint positive!!! So faint I thought I was seeing things but it's definitely there!!!! I'm 5dp5dt
I can't tell my husband that I cheated...he wanted us to find out together but he has way more patience than I do!
Gonna take another one either Sunday when he's out running errands or on Monday when he's at work to see if it's getting darker. The first positive I've ever seen

afm, our transfer went well this morning. Embryo thawed wonderfully and looked great! Now onto a he tww!
We did CCS (which is PGS but with a different name)- will you be doing testing?
Have you had a follie count US during your stims?
We ended up with 8 that grew to day 5 and were good grades and ended up with only 3 that tested normal. Honestly I never expected us to have only 3 after we started with 35+ but so glad we aren't wasting our time with non tested eggos.
Its totally up to you though-your gut is the one to always follow. Keep in touch! I would love to hear it all goes for you! Us TTGP ladies need to stick together!

I had my transfer today. The first embryo they thawed did not make it, so they ended up transferring an Expanded Blastocyst but it had a BB rating. I'm a little stressed with the rating (my bfp last time was with an AA, so that is what I was hoping for).
How much stock should I put into the grading? We did not do PGD.

@jodes727 and @lauren3617 congratulations on the transfers yesterday! @lauren3617, just to echo some of the other comments, my RE said that grading wasn't a huge factor in overall success. My office does a different grading system, but he said that grades 1 and 2 had the same success rates.

I've been lurking this thread for a while now, I was supposed to start IVF in Jan, so I started following you all. I'm delayed after insurance denied the IVF, saying I need to do 6 medicated cycles first (thanks for the heads up! I already had my meds ordered for IVF, so I'm doing my 4th IUI now). But I just wanted to say this thread has made me smile, and cry, and laugh almost every day. It's amazing how supportive and helpful complete strangers can be (although, I think infertility automatically makes us all sisters by default). Anyway, I'm rooting so hard for all of you!!

So news on my front is that my Beta #2 was 215.6 48 hours later. Our Ultrasound Date will be Feb 3rd. Totally happy and super anxious all at once. Very hard to trust this and feel safe. Thank you all for your awesome support on this journey! It has really meant a ton!!

I tried to wait for the blood beta but who was I kidding....we have wanted to be pregnant like 2 years ago so I've already run out of patience. Found 3 dollar store cheapies in my bathroom and just took one and there is actually a very faint positive!!! So faint I thought I was seeing things but it's definitely there!!!! I'm 5dp5dt
I can't tell my husband that I cheated...he wanted us to find out together but he has way more patience than I do!
Gonna take another one either Sunday when he's out running errands or on Monday when he's at work to see if it's getting darker. The first positive I've ever seen

9/13 Dropped to 5 pounds 10oz and had jaundice
