krisnjoe I would say avoid if you have that kind of self control but if you even get a faint line sometimes it can bring some comfort. I have been ttc for what seems like forever and I don't know if I have ever made it to beta with out testing.

Presenting Embryo #10. We laughed, but apparently it was the best and thawed well. Little concerned secretly that is not closer to hatching. They said they end up assisting hatching on all frozen. Also, they used a measurement on a catheter they inserted during sept. Retrieval, so didn't need the us or full bladder. Grow baby grow.

I've got my FET tomorrow and for some reason I'm really nervous! Done this twice before so I should feel like a pro by now! I called my clinic today and requested a blood draw for the morning so they can check my estrogen/progesterone levels (didn't do this last few times) just to make sure my levels look good for transfer. So they'll get the results before my transfer at 1:30 which is good! Also want to make sure I drink enough water before the transfer because the first time they had to stick a catheter in because I hadn't drank enough! Not fun!

Blood has been drawn! Had a little moment on my drive to the clinic but I think I'll be at peace with whatever the results are (doesn't mean I still won't be sad and disappointed) but whatever will be will be. Going to let the call go to voicemail and have DH listen to it after work and then tell me the news. I figure I've waited two weeks what's a few more hours for the results?

AFM: I started getting what feels like memstrual cramps last night. I was also so hot trying to sleep last night, even though it's as cold as usual here. I think that's a PMS symptom, but it's never been one for me. I did POAS using a FRER today (9dp5dt) and a faint positive showed up after 3 min. It really feels like my period is coming, so I don't know what to think!

@mtpbadger Oh I am thinking of you today! Good luck and I hope that this is your cycle!! I understand on waiting to listen with hubby. Last two cycles I listened on my own at work (just snuck off to the bathroom), and then of course the news would crush and I had to fake it the rest of my work day and drive home for an hour! This time I plan to take the whole day off and DH is going to be with me when I get the call. FX its the call that I have been waiting for.
AFM: Still waiting on AF over here which is so strange. She has always been by the book. So I am really stumped. If she's here today I should still be able to transfer on Feb 3, which I have always wanted to transfer on a Friday. I am doing the AF dance over here, maybe she'll show soon

@Joslynj11 You're waiting for your second period after an egg retrieval, right? After both of my egg retrievals, I got my second periods late. The first period each time was exactly 1 week after retrieval and then the second period each time was 33 and 34 days later. My normal cycles prior to all this stuff was 27 days. When I was waiting for my period this last time, I started getting menstrual cramps on day 30 and didn't get my period until day 34.

@SingleGeneMe Yup this is my second p-rod after ER. Normal cycles are about 27-29 and today is day 30. After my last ER I only had to wait for my 1st showing of AF to get ready for FET so I am thinking you are right. I really hope she is here today though, I really really wanted that Friday transfer hehe

This is a full busy week with Beta's and transfers. AFM- I'm just sitting here drinking my Pom juice impatiently waiting for my transfer on Friday. I did my trigger shot in the parking lot of a bar Saturday night. We had a benefit to go to and we did something prior to that so I had to take my stuff with me. My DH was cracking up cause I was mixing the powder and water in the car. He kept saying how funny it would be if we got pulled over cause I'm drawing my syringe using the car behind us' headlights. PIO is doing good I do need to set my alarm though so I remember to do it. One of my twins has been dealing with fevers so I've been distracted with her.

SingleGeneMe I am 8dp5dt and the frer is staying super super light but I got some the accu brand and they are showing up better. So maybe its just the frers? Hoping that you see darker lines and that your Beta rocks!

rainbowwishes5 Thanks! I don't really know if I would have needed anyone in the room. Other than to take pictures of the eggo (if they provide them for you instead of you having to take them with your phone). Also it was nice to have my DH explain how the transfer (like the eggo being taken out of the incubator thing) ) I was given vailum so I wasn't allowed to drive home though so did need someone to do that part.

The nerves have set in! Just picked up my phone (it's been on silent all day) and saw I had a voice mail from my nurse that's 41 seconds long. I have been trying to analyze if 41 seconds is enough news for good news? Or just long enough for bad news? Last time I had a positive, the voicemail was 56 seconds long. I totally realize I'm being neurotic trying to figure this all out! Either way, it is what it is and I'll deal with it. Less than 2 hours until DH picks me up and he can listen to the message and tell me!
@worldtravler0522 I don't think I could handle getting bad news at work. While I have my own office, I interact with student veterans and have a pretty open door policy and I am not a pretty crier so there would be no way to cover that up for the rest of the day! I figure I've waited almost the full two weeks for the news, what's another two hours?
@mtpbadger - such patience and discipline! i honestly don't think i would be able to not listen to that voicemail! I would have to leave my phone in my car, so i wouldn't be tempted to look to check if they'd called yet...

Thanks everyone for the good wishes! Transfer went great and I'm still at the clinic resting before I'm dispatched! Sadly they ended up thawing 3 embryos (even though we transferred 2) and 1 didn't make it so after this we are only left with 3. Hoping this works so we won't need any of those! Planning to have DH stop at McDonalds and get me fries and watch a funny movie once I'm home. Here are my two embryos that were transferred:
CP #1- due April 2017 lost 5.5 weeks cp #2- due May 2017 lost at 4.5 weeks iUI #1- BFN IUI #2-BFN IVF#1- transfer 2- BFP! Due October 2017 c/p#3 lost at 3.5 weeks
Listened to the call and it's a negative. My dr said in it that she has reviewed my case with someone else who has some other ideas so it sounds like she's still hopeful. I'll call her back after digesting the news and see what else she's got up her sleeve.

I've got my FET tomorrow and for some reason I'm really nervous! Done this twice before so I should feel like a pro by now! I called my clinic today and requested a blood draw for the morning so they can check my estrogen/progesterone levels (didn't do this last few times) just to make sure my levels look good for transfer. So they'll get the results before my transfer at 1:30 which is good! Also want to make sure I drink enough water before the transfer because the first time they had to stick a catheter in because I hadn't drank enough! Not fun!

Blood has been drawn! Had a little moment on my drive to the clinic but I think I'll be at peace with whatever the results are (doesn't mean I still won't be sad and disappointed) but whatever will be will be. Going to let the call go to voicemail and have DH listen to it after work and then tell me the news. I figure I've waited two weeks what's a few more hours for the results?
AFM: I started getting what feels like memstrual cramps last night. I was also so hot trying to sleep last night, even though it's as cold as usual here. I think that's a PMS symptom, but it's never been one for me. I did POAS using a FRER today (9dp5dt) and a faint positive showed up after 3 min. It really feels like my period is coming, so I don't know what to think!

@mtpbadger Oh I am thinking of you today! Good luck and I hope that this is your cycle!! I understand on waiting to listen with hubby. Last two cycles I listened on my own at work (just snuck off to the bathroom), and then of course the news would crush and I had to fake it the rest of my work day and drive home for an hour! This time I plan to take the whole day off and DH is going to be with me when I get the call. FX its the call that I have been waiting for.
AFM: Still waiting on AF over here which is so strange. She has always been by the book. So I am really stumped. If she's here today I should still be able to transfer on Feb 3, which I have always wanted to transfer on a Friday. I am doing the AF dance over here, maybe she'll show soon

This is a full busy week with Beta's and transfers.
AFM- I'm just sitting here drinking my Pom juice impatiently waiting for my transfer on Friday. I did my trigger shot in the parking lot of a bar Saturday night. We had a benefit to go to and we did something prior to that so I had to take my stuff with me. My DH was cracking up cause I was mixing the powder and water in the car. He kept saying how funny it would be if we got pulled over cause I'm drawing my syringe using the car behind us' headlights.
PIO is doing good I do need to set my alarm though so I remember to do it. One of my twins has been dealing with fevers so I've been distracted with her.

The nerves have set in! Just picked up my phone (it's been on silent all day) and saw I had a voice mail from my nurse that's 41 seconds long. I have been trying to analyze if 41 seconds is enough news for good news? Or just long enough for bad news? Last time I had a positive, the voicemail was 56 seconds long. I totally realize I'm being neurotic trying to figure this all out! Either way, it is what it is and I'll deal with it. Less than 2 hours until DH picks me up and he can listen to the message and tell me!
