@Kp214 don't fret just yet. It's still too early to test. At day 6 post 5dt the hcg is just entering the bloodstream so it's unlikely to be able to be detected on a pregnancy test. And just an FYI, FRER's are more hcg sensitive than digital tests. FX for you!!

i had my second follow check and we have potentially 10 follies between 8.4-14.4 all on my one good ovary. I'm nervous because last time it looked like I could have 5-8 mature follies at this point and only ended up with 3 follies and 2 eggs. @JamieH2000 trigger was last night for a retrieval tomorrow! We've had quite the week. Saturday's appointment was not good, follicles were still not growing like they should. Monday's appointment was even worse, there was talk of maybe cancelling the cycle. But yesterday we got the news that the slowpokes (at least some of them) had caught up so we were going forward! So it looks like we've got 5ish follicles in range and then 2 more that are on the small side. I'm just praying so hard that there are healthy eggs inside each of those 7 follicles. How are you doing?
@JamieH2000 wow! That's awesome! 10 is great! Beta was yesterday but I won't get the results until today since it was with a local lab that has to send the test off.

@20T remember its quiality over quantity! I know its frustrating and i went through many pros and cons on whether to even due the ER or not. I went in knowing there could be maybe 3, so talk about a gamble. I cam'e out with those 3 and they found one more BUT the shape seemed a lil abnormal and that one did not fertilize and the other 3 did. Which I was ecstatic about, did my 3 day transfer and was pregnant with twins. I'm praying your ending will be different then mine BUT you're going in with double then what i have...it only take one! And sometimes its better you know which one iss the super strong one do go with, good luck!!

@capps42613 and the rest of you lovely ladies thanks so much for thinking of me. Its been an awful road to say the least, but you all have truly helped more then u know!
***TW*** Loss mentioned I had the D&C on monday and even though its so upsetting to go through on many levels i just wish I didn't have to suffer through the weekend in agony. Besides bloodclots I ended up still having placenta inside me which was what was causing all the pain. I pray to never have to experience this again but at least i will be more knowledgeable and demand what should be done. I know ppl dont rush into surgery but after a week of misery its enough and the next steps shouldve been taken. (especially when they can test anything that they get to maybe get some answers) Yes physically I still have headaches and cramping but it doesn't compare to what it was so lets pray i'm finally on the mend....which I believe i am as i just want AF to arrive so i can get started again. I'm hopeful and so are the dr's that it did work and there is no reason it shouldn't work again. I hate being old and have to be on this time clock that makes everyday co critical...I never thought I was old until all of this infertility nonsense!

@20T- I'm sorry, I know you were hoping for more. I really hope they are all mature and fertilize! You are definitely still in. I know it didn't make me feel better last time when I only had 1 embryo and everyone said, it just takes one! But it really does.. I have been on these boards long enough to see lots of ladies get pregnant when they only had 1 or 2 embryos!
@kp214- that's great news!! do you go back for a third beta? That is just awesome that it works on the first FET! now you still have some frosties for #2 later on?
I had another monitoring today.. still waiting on the call to get details, but looked like my largest was 16.5.. so hoping that there are still another 5-10 growing and will get to maturity before ER! I am guessing at least 2 more nights of stims but we will see. Trying to remain cautiously optimistic.. since I know I can't count my eggs before retrieval

Thanks for the encouragement, friends! We got the call this morning that 2 of the 4 eggs were mature and both fertilized (we used ICSI). As long as they're both still going on Monday, we're planning on transferring both on Monday morning.
@JamieH2000 I don't go back for another beta. That makes me nervous. I go for an u/s 2/2. We do have a couple of frozen for #2. DH isn't ready to think about #2. He's always the practical one. He wants to make certain all goes well with this one.

@kp214- thanks for asking, I went in this morning and just got the call that we are triggering tn for a Tuesday retrieval! I had 7 above 15 right now and couple other ones between 9-15. Just praying most of those have some eggs in them! Do you remember how many follies you had this last time and how many you ended up with? I'm just trying to remind myself that anything more than 2 eggs gives us a lot better chance than last time!

@JamieH2000 yay!! I don't remember the measurements when I triggered. I do remember that the saw 15 total but some were small. They retrieved 10, all were mature and 8 fertilized with icsi. This seems like your best response yet! I'm so excited for you!

@kp214- I'm scared of empty follicles since last time I should have gotten at least a few more eggs, even if they had been immature. Overall this cycle was much shorter with a better response so I feel like my body just did not like the micro dose lupron last time. Wish we would have tried this protocol on our first time!

@jaimeh2000 yay!! You're numbers are sounding really promising so lets keep talking to that belly of yours. This is definitely the best protocol your, which gives me some hope through my pain you should know! I've learned that dr use the lupron microdose is usually used for ppl with Low AMH and i'm like you i had my worst cycle from it. SO much so i had to cancel all and do an IUI as i had one follicle at the end. I know last cycle was so rough...and I really think you need to keep having some hope for this one! I'll be keeping u in my prayers. Looking forward to your update!!

@JamieH2000 every step of this process seems to have hurdles. When someone has done this more than once, it seems we have to be cautiously optimistic rather than blindly excited. I'm glad you are having a better response. I think more follicles should definitely improve your chances of more mature eggs. I'm eager to here your results tomorrow.

I'm not excited. I'm scared and nervous. Now my husband can't come to my baseline and my backups are not available either so it looks like I may have to go alone to my baseline. I declared I would no longer step foot in the clinic by myself after what happened last cycle and here I am faced with having to go it alone, again.

i had my second follow check and we have potentially 10 follies between 8.4-14.4 all on my one good ovary. I'm nervous because last time it looked like I could have 5-8 mature follies at this point and only ended up with 3 follies and 2 eggs. Just praying they can all keep growing and give me a better chance of getting a good one. Just started ganirelax tonight

@20T remember its quiality over quantity! I know its frustrating and i went through many pros and cons on whether to even due the ER or not. I went in knowing there could be maybe 3, so talk about a gamble. I cam'e out with those 3 and they found one more BUT the shape seemed a lil abnormal and that one did not fertilize and the other 3 did. Which I was ecstatic about, did my 3 day transfer and was pregnant with twins. I'm praying your ending will be different then mine BUT you're going in with double then what i have...it only take one! And sometimes its better you know which one iss the super strong one do go with, good luck!!
@JamieH2000 I'm thrilled your body is responding better to this protocol, praying it continues!! When the time comes i believe i will be moving on to the same.

I had the D&C on monday and even though its so upsetting to go through on many levels i just wish I didn't have to suffer through the weekend in agony. Besides bloodclots I ended up still having placenta inside me which was what was causing all the pain. I pray to never have to experience this again but at least i will be more knowledgeable and demand what should be done. I know ppl dont rush into surgery but after a week of misery its enough and the next steps shouldve been taken. (especially when they can test anything that they get to maybe get some answers) Yes physically I still have headaches and cramping but it doesn't compare to what it was so lets pray i'm finally on the mend....which I believe i am as i just want AF to arrive so i can get started again. I'm hopeful and so are the dr's that it did work and there is no reason it shouldn't work again. I hate being old and have to be on this time clock that makes everyday co critical...I never thought I was old until all of this infertility nonsense!

@20T- I'm sorry, I know you were hoping for more. I really hope they are all mature and fertilize! You are definitely still in. I know it didn't make me feel better last time when I only had 1 embryo and everyone said, it just takes one! But it really does.. I have been on these boards long enough to see lots of ladies get pregnant when they only had 1 or 2 embryos!
@kp214- that's great news!! do you go back for a third beta? That is just awesome that it works on the first FET! now you still have some frosties for #2 later on?
I had another monitoring today.. still waiting on the call to get details, but looked like my largest was 16.5.. so hoping that there are still another 5-10 growing and will get to maturity before ER! I am guessing at least 2 more nights of stims but we will see. Trying to remain cautiously optimistic.. since I know I can't count my eggs before retrieval

@kp214- I'm scared of empty follicles since last time I should have gotten at least a few more eggs, even if they had been immature. Overall this cycle was much shorter with a better response so I feel like my body just did not like the micro dose lupron last time. Wish we would have tried this protocol on our first time!

@jaimeh2000 yay!! You're numbers are sounding really promising so lets keep talking to that belly of yours. This is definitely the best protocol your, which gives me some hope through my pain you should know! I've learned that dr use the lupron microdose is usually used for ppl with Low AMH and i'm like you i had my worst cycle from it. SO much so i had to cancel all and do an IUI as i had one follicle at the end. I know last cycle was so rough...and I really think you need to keep having some hope for this one! I'll be keeping u in my prayers. Looking forward to your update!!

@JamieH2000 every step of this process seems to have hurdles. When someone has done this more than once, it seems we have to be cautiously optimistic rather than blindly excited. I'm glad you are having a better response. I think more follicles should definitely improve your chances of more mature eggs. I'm eager to here your results tomorrow.
