@mombod I had to do that with DS about 2 years ago. SO. MUCH.BLOOD. I never figured out what he hit his head on. We did end up needing stitches, so I'm glad you didn't have to deal with that too. It was not fun.
@Ahutch428 Sorry sister. It was such a great game! I think DH was tearing up a little bit too during that last quarter and he doesn't have the hormone excuse!
My husband is eating carrots and celery across the room from me and the crunching is about to make me lose my mind. I cannot handle loud eating. Ahhhhhhhh.

I was just popping in to see how you ladies "weathered" the ice storm...pun intended.
This weekend was crazy busy. In laws offered to watch DS Friday night so we went out with friends. Saturday I had a jewelry making party to go to with my girls (really fun actually!) and my BIL was out at our place Saturday night. Today we ventured to Home Depot to decide what carpets we will put in DS1 and baby's room and then out to lunch.
Tomorrow at 8am is our anatomy scan! Too anxious to sleep!
Our ice storm was a bust. Everything has been canceled and closed since Friday and nothing happened. We got a little rain today. The mass hysteria turned out to be for nothing. I'm so ready to get out of the house tomorrow!!
@Stankonia2014 I am a nurse! Working night shift tonight and fairly convinced I'm not leaving in the morning.
@mechanicwife we just had a dad come back from letting pups out and he said the roads are getting nasty. Side streets are terrible and main roads aren't great but are still driveable for now according to him. I hope your BIL was able to get back ok!
Oh man @mombod I completely missed your comment somehow. So scary to go through that but I'm so glad he's ok! DH and I have said multiple times if we don't land ourselves in the ER with DS before he's 5 it'll be a miracle. He has no fear.
@awoodruff27 I'm pretty sure I was in middle school last time the bills made the playoffs. I don't follow football too much, but dh always thinks this is the year, and I'm like, dude, it's never the year. Because the Patriots. Come on. It's a great way for me to get stuff though when he wants to make bets that they are going to the playoffs out the superbowl or whatever.
@ellie111227 I remember the Bills going to the Superbowl sometime in the early 90s. Not sure if they have made it to the playoffs since then (and if they have, they definitely didn't make it past the wildcard round. And it definitely hasn't been in this century.
@ellie111227 and @awillis13 the last time the bills made the playoffs was 1999. Because of the music city miracle. I was in 7th grade. My husband is pretty happy with who they hired for their new head coach so who knows maybe in the next year or two we can at least make the wild card round haha.
