@haylsbayls@adirat@lulu1180 My friend irl is on the June 2017 BMB and mentioned to me they have a thread going called "The Great Drama Liama Thread" that lists all the best gems people have found on TB (and baby center). It was my main form of entertainmemt yestersay at work.
@JJMNO1616@Pinky917 They started a private group instead so that they can share all they want without being moderated by the BGs. I wondered exactly what it was and now I know! lol

@lulu1180 I know! I was sad to see it closed but Apparently May still has a "Alpaca thread" going that's essentially the same thing. So there is still lots of available drama to lurk on. lol!
Guys, since I am super frustrated and trying to keep my mind off being wonky this cycle, I have been cooking like crazy. Y'all , the Instant Pot is amazing!!!!! So today, I will make spaghetti and sausage for dinner, pulled chicken for quick lunches, thinking about rice pudding for dessert. Someone stop me. Also making some stuff not in the IP. Its keeping me busy .
@JJMNO1616 THANK YOU for the Alpaca thread. It's full of gold. They posted one from a few years ago where a BMB found out one of their regulars was a CATFISH holy drama llama
ETA: she handled their bumpie awards and gave herself "hottest bumpie" I can't.
@JJMNO1616 Butt baby is one of my all time favorites! And the catfish one is great, but a bit frustrating because so many people got deleted in the exodus. Though it's a good reminder that there are legit trolls out there who really commit to the bit. I remember seeing another story on a BMB where they took up a money collection for someone on the board and it turned out the person who suggested the collection, though a long-time member of the board, was a catfish who stole their money.

OMG! The Catfish thread! I agree with @eggplantface it's so hard to read those threads with half of the posts missing due to deleted members. But it's still hilarious. I wonder if we have any catfish here?!

@bluejeanbabi05 The link to butt baby is on the 2nd page of this thread @adirat posted it in a spoiler box. Just a warning, I laughed so hard the first time I read it, tears were streaming down my face!

The catfish thing was CRAZY. There's a thread where someone reverse image searches the bump pics the catfish made and finds some Swedish (?) blogger and they have this debate about whether to tell the blogger. It was crazy. Also, was that the same catfish who created an AE purporting to be her wife to defend her original account? Or was that a different catfish?

Yes! Same one! Not really to defend her account, there was nothing controversial about her. Everyone loved the catfish until the truth came out! What I loved was then they called out the "wife" for cheating, and it made me think that the catfish forgot she said her AE "wife" had cheated!

I'm sorry if I offended any tta newbs. I don't understand you, but honest, it doesn't matter. You can call me a bitter woman now because it isn't working out. You do you. We all just want babies in this un-fucking-fair world
@adirat It's Friday night in Korea and I'm trying to get DH to go get me a bottle of wine so I can drink while we play Diablo all night. (eta) Also I know it's bolded in the TTA/Benched thread but I think people read right past where it says for people who've been trying but are currently TTA/benched
I mentioned this in today's WTO but for anyone interested in looking at options to cut the cord and get rid of cable, here is a spreadsheet I put together that compares Playstation Vue with Sling TV. It lists the channels included in each package as well as the total price (this can vary depending on your area and which local channels are live, you can verify on the Vue site) and average price per channel. Also, here are the FAQs on the website for Vue. We're hoping to make the switch as soon as we get through all the important shows on our DVR. For those wondering, you do NOT have to have a Playstation console for Vue, it is available on the newer AppleTV as well as Amazon Fire.
DH is at our RE's office now getting bloodwork done, and he texted me that a couple just came in with their brand-new baby and a big box of chocolate for the RE. That's super AW, which I texted DH, but I also added that the decision to bring the baby could maybe be seen as a bit unthoughtful towards the packed waiting room of couples struggling with IF issues. DH goes "I'm not jealous of them I'm happy for them." He gets really annoyed with me if I ever even hint that seeing someone KU or with a new baby makes me sad. Argh. I sent "You can be both " and then immediately changed the subject so he had to reply to the new subject and drop the previous. It upsets me sometimes that he makes me feel like a bad person for having normal human feelings.

I think this falls into the category of "You may not be bothered by it, but you should be able to see how others would be, and be sensitive to that despite your own feelings." I'm glad you stood up for them!

@bluejeanbabi05 Ugh that seems really tacky. I've heard women who get good news at the RE (like something as small as good growing follicles) try not to even smile on their way out because they know how much of a struggle it is to be there, and you never know what news somebody else got that day. You would think that these people would remember that. I was even conscious of it when I went for my consult - I didn't want to seem too chipper or anything, because it's just not really a chipper place.
@bluejeanbabi05 I posted recently about a couple different women in my RE waiting room who brought their toddlers. I get a babysitter every single time I have an appointment there. I agree with you its so damn rude and insensitive. And your husband is a man, I don't think they get it. Like something you want so badly and are doing so much to achieve, and someone just waltzes in and rubs theirs right in your face.
I need to lose some weight myself since I've gained after coming off my diet. DH has to go on a diet too since he had blood work done and his triglycerides are over 400. Sorry hun, you need to lay off the processed carbs.
@canonmom413 I'm with you DH on this. I think you should take your own feelings into consideration. If she has the means to pay for a surrogate, I think you should let her do that. I know you want to help her and that's very selfless of you but I think considering the emotional stuff you've gone through, I think you should focus on you.

@jess0211 The original spreadsheet also has a tab for pricing for all different streaming services and a third tab where we listed our must watch shows and the network they're on to see if there is anything missing. I think the only channel that has one of DHs regular shows was Comedy Central but he was willing to overlook it
