  • @gipfish lemons are my jam right now! Glad I'm not the only one! I got a juicer for Christmas and have been juicing one lemon with 1-2 apples and it knocks the nausea away - so amazing. Grapefruit is a close second and easier to eat straight.

    nothing else sounds appetizing, but I have been forcing down basic carbs because I am still running (11 miles at at 8wks today) and nursing my younger daughter. If I don't force feed myself I get very dizzy.

    i ate garlic the other day (to keep from getting sick) and spent the next 24 hours hanging out next to the toilet. Peppers and onions have a similar effect. I love seeing what everyone else is eating and the potato idea actually sounded really good.

  • @oriole2017 My appetite was completely gone from my early BFP through about the New Year, so weeks 3/4 through 6. Everything was wholly unappetizing to even think about but nothing made me sick. 

    Right around the 6th week food started to taste mostly good again and I actually get hungry sometimes now.  I still don't have my old appetite back completely, but I'm glad it's seemly just hormonally related and not permanent.

  • Fried egg whites with melted sharp cheddar cheese on toasted potato bread...but I can't cook the eggs myself (the thought makes me heave) so thankful I have an amazing Mom that makes them for me when ever she's at my house.

  • Tuna, are we allowed to eat tuna? because I'll make everything with tuna in it. Fried rice, sandwhiches, pasta whatever. My husband thinks it's rancid haha. 
  • I just ate a whole pint of Haagen-Dazs cookie dough ice cream for breakfast :)

  • @flowerintherain I survived my last pregnancy with cereal! It's the only thing I could eat when I had MS, and it was the perfect middle of the night snack!
  • Was really wanting a bagel. Had a bagel with cream cheese and it was so good!

  • Bagels, pancakes, American cheese on a English muffin with scrambled eggs.. lol and SOUP! Gahhh I have hard time getting salads down and I usually love them!

  • I'm starving come meal times. It's all I can think about. 
  • I'm eating all of the food this week. And when I'm not eating I'm thinking about food. I am usually really good about making home cooked meals for myself and my family and taking leftovers to work the next day for lunch, I've been so exhausted after work I've been doing take out or easy/frozen stuff then buying lunch at work. Poor DH is definitely not used to not having home cooked meals. Hoping to get out of this funk soon or I'm going to gain all the weight this pregnancy.

    @vannilly My doctor said I can have deli meat as long as it's fresh and from a reputable place. Not allowed to eat the prepackaged turkey that has been in that package for who knows how long at the grocery store aisle. Also if you simply want to be extra careful you can heat it up. :) eat your turkey sandwich!
  • Yasss to all you ladies saying food is gross right now. I usually looove cooking.. and eating. And this is so sad.

  • fries, sour cream and onion veggie chips, fruit...chicken disgusts me! Salty is winning over sweet.

  • Peanut Butter or Almond Butter & Jelly sandwiches! For days too. Also fruits and fruit smoothies.

    I can have my morning meal replacement shake in the morning, lunch varies because I have no real appetite, then by dinner I don't eat bec I feel sick or sleepy.

    I forgot how being pregnant changes your appetite and it changes daily for me. With my son, I wanted eggs every day and baked lays chips. Now eggs makes me sick or I don't want it anymore.

  • Things that have really tasted good are: PB&J sandwiches, broccoli cheese soup from Panera Bread, warm foods... Things like that.
  • NOT red bell peppers. Normally sweet and crisp, they are now absolutely off limits after my nose, tongue, and stomach revolted.
  • Smoooothiiiiies. Today for lunch I went and got a (cooked) shrimp tempura maki roll and then went to Jamba Juice for a cookies-and-creme protein shake. I never spend $16 on lunch during the workweek but damn this was needed.

  • I'm wicked into chocolate milk right now, and raviolis... This will probably change next week. I want nothing to do with chicken but burgers yes, and French fries! 
  • Chicken is evil. Chicken is the very devil. I have fewer meat aversions than normal this time around, but chicken makes me want to hurl - unless it is deep fried. Same thing with my 2nd son. All things fried please! I gained almost 100lbs that go around...

    I am trying to stick to a meat, veg, fruit diet, but it is difficult at the moment. So today I had coffee with coconut oil... and pop tarts. Balance yo!

    Tonight is shredded moose (or caribou, did not label the meat) tacos.
  • I'm going to join the "chicken is evil" train. I love chicken, I mean, I'm the granddaughter of chicken farmers! But just the thought of chicken now....ughhhh. Instant nausea. Same goes with eggs. Leading up to my BFP I was all about eggs. Nothing was tastier. Now? Now I've had one egg in the last week and had to force it down, then I had major nausea the rest of the day.

    after I posted this, they served chicken at my school cafeteria today. OMG I tried to eat it, took one bite and could feel the bile begin to rise. Eating extra mashed potatoes and gravy to make up for it :)

    It's breakfast for dinner tonight at our house. Corned beef and hash, with fried eggs and toast. And OJ! I'm craving it! The best part? My husband is cooking it!!! 
  • After hating peanut butter for a month, I'm suddenly craving caramel rice cakes topped with peanut butter. Yummmm!
  • Popsicles are life right now!!!!
  • I seem to be living on pasta. And my formerly carnivorous self has been forced vegetarian, as i cant seem to even look at meat without barfing. 
  • I decided to quit Whole30 on day 20 (next Friday) and start reintroduction. I guess that means that I can start my black & white milkshake countdown as this is the only thing I can think about for the last 10 days. 
  • I also can't eat chicken. I've tried and spit it out a few times so I'm just giving up. 

    Chocolate milk has been my savior first thing in the morning. It's the only thing I can keep down.

  • I cannt eat read meat and cooked fish. It upset my stomach. 
    I can eat fruits love love love fruits. Before the pregnancy i didnt have an apple for 10 years, now i crave them... i used to hate apples. I can eat a whole mellon by myself. 
    And chicken nuggets and pasta. 

    What i crave the most is sushi but the doctor said no no :(
  • I'm going crazy. My nausea is out of control. Normally I'm a very healthy eater but not one single thing sounds good now. So my diet has been CRAP. Which makes me feel like more crap. Plus I'm eating a ton more than I normally do cause if I even get slightly hungry the nausea gets so much worse.
    Such a vicious cycle. I just want to eat normal again and not feel like puking!
  • I'm excited for this weekend. Been craving 5 guys and the closest one is over an hour away. But I'll be in the area for the WHOLE weekend!!!! Oh and having a root beer float tonight

  • I've been nauseous but hungry most of the time for the last few weeks (nausgry? Is that a word lol). Today I went a bit nuts and had a burger, fries and banana milkshake for lunch (fatburger) tasted great going down but ugggh I have felt horrible all day which I probably deserve!

    Most of the time I can only stomach small light meals, like fruits, bland carbs, sour candies or citrus, avocado toast etc. Coffee is my only big aversion as even the smell of it will make me gag, most other food just seems "meh" right now. 
  • nausgry should totally be a word @CanadianChris!

    Homemade waffles. Bleh. Food. Meh. Going to make garlic bread, sauce, and meatballs tonight. Might add pasta, might make just as dip for the bread. My whole house is sort of bleh/meh with food right now.
