August has a new thread called "Ramzi Please!!" That could get good...
I didn't know what Ramzi theory was, so I googled it. This came up in the third item on the search page (I.e. I didn't even have to click): "You can take a guess from your ultrasound pic, but the only way to KNOW is to have an ultrasound that shows the blood flow (which is what Ramzi used)."
How do people know these Big Terms but not know what they mean? It took me five seconds to find this.
I'd post that in August, but I hate being caught lurking. XD

@sls most people think it means that if the placenta implants on the left versus right it means one sex or the other...it's ridiculous. Especially bc without knowing the angle of the ultrasound pic you're using, or whether that particular machine shows true image or mirror image, you wouldn't even be able to tell that much.
Also: it is not fun for me to guess the sex of an Internet stranger's fetus. I do that with friends and family and it's fun but I honestly don't care one way or the other. My guessing record is nearly flawless though Fwiw (only been wrong once!)
I also had to google the Ramzi method and I don't get that post at all. Assuming the method is reliable, that ultrasound picture is horribly blurry. You can't even see any of the villi or whatever that method looks for. I don't know how the OP can possibly think anyone could tell her based on that method.

Yeah, same. The only reason I care about the sex of whomever I'm carrying is because it makes it more real to me. But I don't want some rando's guess. That doesn't work.

July 2017 has a "come show your baby bump" post that's getting some attention.
Oh dear. I also have a non-flat belly. But I knew that my fat does not magically become a baby bump when I get pregnant. I was group FB messaging and one of them comes across as pretty naive and young in some ways even though I think she's older than me. Anyway, I was saying something about my jeans being a bit tighter but I had switched to new jeans recently so hard to tell whether it was bump or normal non-flat stomach I wasn't used to in these jeans. This was around 11 or 12 weeks.
She says, "at this point it's all baby!" And I'm like, "Hahaha, definitely not." That's not how it works.
Also... I cannot figure out what AW means. >.> <.<
ETA: Never mind, I just had the brilliant idea to check the Intro thread / abbreviations. But if it means "attention whore" generally, does it also mean that on the ultrasounds pinned post?

Do drama threads not on BMBs count? Because whoooooaa, this one. I need to be Doing Stuff, so I can't even read it all, but this promises hours of entertainment:

Perhaps I'm just a fat pregnant hater but why would anyone post a topless photo? I mean she might as well have worn pasties.... feels a bit like oh look at me and seeking attention.

I need some popcorn for this...
I did have to laugh at the last u/s on the first page and everyone assuming that baby was already well-endowed.
What is nsfw?
