@nalex420 that must be doubly hard, I'm sorry.

    1. Hey! I'm not new  ;) 5th cycle TTCAL after 7 month bench. Took 8 months to get KU the first time. We are both 38.

    2. WTO, CD3. I have a ton of OPKs now to try both FMU and afternoon this month to see how that goes (last month I did FMU only and never turned a positive).

    3. All raves: because AF was a week late I won't be in FW while traveling this weekend, and I found a new running group for Saturday mornings full of nice people (the store we run out from is closing).

    4. *My personal opinion only* I don't believe in New Year's Resolutions. I feel if you want to change something about yourself, go ahead and do it. Although maybe I'm a hypocrite 'cause I have promised myself to finally finish setting up my living revokable trust this month  :)

    Have a wonderful week ladies!!

    1. Not new, but will intro anyway. MC#1 in Dec 2015 at 7 weeks. MC#2 in April 2016 (blighted ovum) at 10 weeks. Benched through October for testing/emotional health. This is our second cycle TTCAL.

    2. TWW. 6 DPO. Planning on testing Thursday or Friday, I think (9 or 10 DPO). I got a positive that early with my first pregnancy, and I have to travel out of town for work on Sunday. If I am lucky enough to get a BFP before leaving, I'd like a chance to get a beta in and start progesterone before I leave for work. If it's a BFN, I want to be prepared for AF during my trip.

    3. Rant - I need to work today. It's partly my fault for not getting enough done last week, and it's partly due to someone else delaying getting me something until last Thursday afternoon. We're heading into my busy season at work, so the next three months will be crazy busy.

Rave - I'm feeling pretty calm during this TWW. It's a nice contrast to the last TWW, where I was anxious, symptom spotting like crazy, and testing waaaaaay too early.

    4. Yep. I kind of let myself go the past year because of everything we were dealing with. I've gained 25 lbs since my first MC. So H and I are definitely doing resolutions. We're taking baby steps. We're doing "Dry January" (which hopefully turns into "Dry 2017" for me...). I'm cutting way back on added sugars this month to stay within recommended guidelines (bye bye Starbucks). And we're not going to eat out more than twice a week. That should go a long way towards getting healthier, without depriving ourselves too much. We've said we'll just do it for January, but I'm hoping that once the end of the month rolls around, we'll be able to stick with it.
  • @nalex420  **hugs**

@RiverSong15  Love how zen you are feeling.  Here is to a "Dry 2017" for all of us!

    1. Introduce yourself (if you're new) Both 35.  1st preg, MMC late Oct.

    2. Status (WTO, TWW, Benched, etc.)  CD 12  WTO.  Got a high temp this morning.  Hope I didn't O yet since timing would've been bad.  Temped later than normal, hoping that is the case.  Got a pos OPK this morning.

    3. Rants/Raves    Rave:  With fortunate timing, we got to BD this morning.  DH got a call for OT and may be gone all night.  Won't know when he will be home.  He said "I may be home at 1 am."  I said, "Wake me."   : )

Didn't get to go on NYE cruise.  DH heard on the news that they cancelled the fireworks.  I called and they offered a full refund.  We took it.  Low key NYE for us.

Have to go back to work tomorrow.  Boo to that.

    4. GTKY: New Years resolutions? Yes/No? What are they if you made any?  Nope.

@nalex420 Hugs. The first cycle TTCAL is always tough.<3

@amberruka GL with the OPKs this month! In general, I agree with you about New Year's resolutions. Any time is a good time to make a change. We really just picked January this year because of how much we indulged over the holidays. Otherwise, I feel like New Years resolutions are just a lot of pressure.

@SP128 Hopefully you didn't O yet. The same thing happened to me on Christmas. I slept in, slept like crap, and got a high temp before a positive OPK. It evened out eventually though. I'd guess you haven't Od yet if you just got a positive OPK.

    1. Introduce yourself (if you're new) I checked in at the end of last month but I'll go again. Had a mc 12/25/16 at 9w2d.

    2. Status (WTO, TWW, Benched, etc.) Currently benched but plan to continue to tta for a while for mental health reasons.

    3. Rants/Raves  I'm planning on trying out a new blueberry lemon bread recipe today....It should be yummy! I love baking (DH loves it when I bake too because he's my guinea pig)

    4. GTKY: New Years resolutions? Yes/No? What are they if you made any? I have lots of plans for this year, not necessarily resolutions. I'm heading out today to sign up at the gym to work off some depression (losing some weight will be nice too), DH and I will be debt free by the end of February (woo-hoo!!) and we plan to get out of town more often (we have a tendency to be homebodies).

@nalex420 I bet that's hard. I have a coworker with almost the same due date as mine was and I know it's going to be tough watching her grow and go through the stages of her pregnancy. Hugs to you

@amberruka good luck with doubling up on opks!

@RiverSong15 glad you're feeling calm during the tww. One thing DH and I did to make ourselves eat at home was sit down together on Sunday and make a menu for the week, then we go to the store and get everything we need, it takes the guess work out of it and we no longer do the "what do you want?" "I don't know, what do you want?"....."pizza?" Lol. Good luck!

@SP128 hopefully you didn't o yet! And sorry you missed out on the cruise, but low key NYE is always nice :)

  • 1. Introduce yourself (if you're new) Not new, but here goes: mc@9weeks in October, and early mc@5weeks the week before Christmas

    2. Status (WTO, TWW, Benched, etc.) Benched for 2-3 cycles after the two mc one after another. My post about how all of this turned out is on the December TWW board since that's where I started posting my saga, even though it's January now

    3. Rants/Raves I am a post-bac pre-med student, so going back to school while DH works. I stopped attended classes last semester because of everything, and I'm still dealing with the administration over it all. Spring semester starts Wednesday, and I have yet to register for classes ... but I know I need to get put of my house and get my brain back to studying. I really wish all the people I needed to talk to hadn't been on vacation last week, so here's hoping I don't spontaneously combust trying to get all this sorted out with no time left on the clock

    4. GTKY: New Years resolutions? Yes/No? What are they if you made any?
I made one: To organize. Specifically to sort through my Tupperware drawer and match lids, throw out gross ones, and maybe treat myself to some nice glass ones. I'll see how that goes and let it expand from there.

That's my only true new years resolution, but with my recent benching I want to work on myself as much as I can. I agree that any time a good time to make a change, and in my Intensive Outpatient Program group we set goals every session (3x a week). We set one task that will give us a sense of mastery or accomplishment, one skill we learn in our sessions that we want to focus on using, and one pleasant activity.

@amberruka congrats on FW moving out of your travel time

@RiverSong15 I support your logic about your testing date FX for accurate early results and that you don't go BSC on your trip if it's still too early
  • 1. Introduce yourself (if you're new) - I'm new and trying to figure out which board I belong too.  Got a BFP at 4 weeks the week of xmas but found out I had a CP last week.  Bleeding is getting heavier today.  I have no idea what to expect.  Nurse should call me tomorrow for HCG blood draw from last Friday.

    2. Status (WTO, TWW, Benched, etc.)  She said we could start TTC again right away but I'm conflicted.  I really need a mental break.  I have no desire to temp/chart/opk  - I just can't handle it anymore.  Talked to DH about it last night and we will continue to have sex but not prevent.

    3. Rants/Raves - Put away all xmas indoor decor today - planning on cleaning up the living room

    4. GTKY: New Years resolutions? Yes/No? What are they if you made any?  I don't do resolutions.  status quo for me which is to continue to save money and expand my yoga practice.

  • @vlagrl29
You belong to whatever board you feel comfortable in. The WTO board could be appropriate since you aren't preventing, but you might not enjoy talking about temping and opks . If you are putting yourself on the bench and want some community with others who are choosing not to try right now or have been benched my their midwives and doctors, I did start a January Benched board.

Also, my most recent mc mimics yours just about a week earlier. Heavy bleeding is to be expected And possibly clots and tissue. Your doctor should give you guidelines on how much bleeding is too much and when to go to the ER. In general though, my body started feeling better a lot quicker than with my mc @9 weeks.

I just tried Aerial yoga for the first time on Saturday. It was fun and challenging, but now I have sore muscles and some bruises.
  • @vlagrl29 I'm sorry for your loss. You can post on whichever board and threads you like. We're pretty flexible here.
  • @vlagrl29  So sorry for your loss.  I'm echoing what the other ladies have said.  Post in whatever board feels the most comfortable for you.  We are pretty supportive here.

@allowachick  I think tupperware is the bane of my existence.  If it were up to me it would be all out of my house.  However, DH uses it to take his lunch to work.  I have switched over to Pyrex containers and couldn't be happier.  The biggest perk is no staining.

@RiverSong15  I think you are right.  My gut is telling me that I didn't O yet.  I woke up at 1 am and 2 am last night.  I'll take another OPK tonight and tomorrow morning and stare at my data.

  • @nalex420  that must be hard.   It's difficult when you are happy for someone but still feel sad for your own loss

@RiverSong15   I like your idea of the cutbacks.  I might try that too!

@SP128   Clad you got to BD before DH went to work. I'm with ya on returning to work tomorrow.  Not looking forward to it.

@pumpkin0913  debt free nice!  Traveling sounds like fun.

@allowachick   Good luck getting school situated

@vlagrl29.  Sorry for your loss but Welcome. Great group of ladies and very supportive

    1. Introduce yourself (if you're new). *TW-LC*** I'm 41 and have a 16 month old son.  We had MC in august at 8 weeks.

    2. Status (WTO, TWW, Benched, etc.) TWW. 6 DPO and feeling pretty calm about it.  No urge to test yet

    3. Rants/Raves enjoying my long weekend

    4. GTKY: New Years resolutions? Yes/No? What are they if you made any? Not really just continuing working on losing weight. I gained 70 lbs with my son and have lost all but 18 lbs.  the last 18 have been a struggle.
  • @allowachick I LOVED your gif on the benched thread start!  :)
@RiverSong15 holy ambition girl! (with the food, alcohol stuffs)
@vlagrl29 I hate seeing you over here from TTC35, but welcome.

  • 1. Introduce yourself (if you're new)
Not new, but for those who are I'm Mimi. Had a MC in August which was either ectopic, PUL or chemical and currently going through a MMC now at 12 weeks.
    2. Status (WTO, TWW, Benched, etc.)
After waiting for AF, will be Benched
    3. Rants/Raves
So far 2017 has been alright! I'm hoping things stay that way for the sake of our sanity lol.
    4. GTKY: New Years resolutions? Yes/No? What are they if you made any?
No I stop making new years resolution when I realized I'm no good at making promises to myself lol.

@nalex420 oh that sucks but FX you will have good news soon!
@amberruka good luck with the OPKs!
@RiverSong15 I am with you on cutting down. I've gain 15 pounds since my first MC too and it ain't looking pretty! Maybe we should start one of those healthy living check in?
@SP128 sorry about the cruise! Though I always enjoy low key NYE. I think a lot of people stayed in this year.
@pumpkin0913 congrats on being nearly debt free!! What a relief I bet!
@allowachick  I'm right here benched with you. We'll make a party of it.
@vlagrl29 sorry for your loss and welcome to the group.

  • 1. Introduce yourself (if you're new). Not new, but for those who are: MC in Feb 2016 at 10 weeks, two CPs in October and then last month.

    2. Status (WTO, TWW, Benched, etc.). WTO, CD 20. Had a near positive OPK on Friday but no temp shift. Had another close positive this afternoon so crossing fingers for a temp shift.

    3. Rants/Raves:  I felt better waking up to 2017 yesterday. I've been reviewing my own test results from the RE and it seems highly likely I'll be diagnosed with PCOS, which isn't unexpected. But weirdly doing okay with that. Also, my sister just got engaged so super excited to have something else to focus on for a bit!

    4. GTKY: New Years resolutions? Yes/No? What are they if you made any?  I'm starting Whole 30 tomorrow, and we're going to try to go to church more. I took all our candy and sweets and bread and gave them away today. Not sure how I'll do without cheese!

If it's meant to happen again it will. I'm just tired. I'm assuming that's normal. I've been needing more naps lately. Hoping to hit up a 90 minute yoga class tonight.

@allowachick. I just got done cleaning out the Tupperware and we got some new glassware too.

  • @allowachick - is the ariel yoga you tried with the silks?  I can imagine bruises with that.  Years ago I tried a pole dancing class and had so many bruises on my legs.  I personally love yoga arm balances and inversions.  It makes me feel so strong.  I've also tried acro yoga.

@nalex420 That is a tough situation to be in...sorry.  My bf is due 2 weeks after my ED would have been.

@amberruka I just got back into running this past week and it feels sooooo good.  I broke my leg last year and wasn't able to run until recently.  I am pushing 12 minute miles but I have a goal to be back at my old pace within 6 months....not a New Years resolution, just coincidental timing.

@Boo for work, yeah for calm tww.  What do you do for work?  Sorry if I've asked you this before.

@SP128 Sorry to hear about the cruise.  Maybe you can go next year with your rainbow baby!

@pumpkin0913  I signed up for the gym too.  Coincidentally it was around New Years but not a resolution.  I am less than a year out from a leg break and I need to get back into shape so my return to running will not be so tough this spring.

@vlagrl29 I was following your story on ttc after 35.  So sorry you are back here.  Good luck with whatever you decide.

@Mack2342 Way to go on your weight loss! Wow, that's a lot to shed. I am trying to lose the 15lbs I gained since I broke my leg.  It's tough though because I am not 100% pain free yet.

@MimoCa I really hope 2017 treats you better. You have always had a really positive outlook on things in your posts.  Great way to start of the year with positivity.

@laeberge3 I did the whole 30 last year and it helped me get into great shape.  It's almost impossible to eat anywhere other than your house which actually helped me save a lot of money too.  I made sure I always had a lot of prepared whole 30 snacks on hand which helped me not break down and cheat.  Hope you have great luck with it.

    AFM

Suzie, 36, DH 33.  Ectopic 9/23 treated with 6 awful shots of methotrexate.  I think I had a chemical pregnancy in August but never went to the DR because my insurance stinks. I had 2 very very faint positives  and then two days later BFN..  I heard that CP were common so I didn't think I needed to do anything about it.  Now, I wish I had because it would have been great to have it documented if I need an RE in the future.

Benched for 2 complete cycles.  I still have no AF and the office was closed today but I am calling tomorrow for some info on medication to jump start things.

Rant- My husband thinks I should wait for things to happen naturally but I feel like everyday that goes by, I am one day older. I never knew that after 35 was considered "old" in babymaking world.  I feel so young, so that's good I suppose.
Rave-  I am redoing my art studio by painting and wallpapering it.  I have high hopes. Hopefully I can execute!

New Year's Resolution:  This isn't new, more like my everyday mantra, "You are only as happy as you let yourself be."  I've been using it for a few years now and it helps me gain perspective if I am dwelling on something too long.

  • @vlagrl29 welcome and sorry you're here. I just joined here last week and everyone has been kind and supportive. And don't worry about not knowing where to post, I'm in the same boat so I'm just posting everywhere!

@allowachick good luck with the tupperware! And with working on yourself, that's what I plan to do as well.

@Mack2342 losing that much weight is great! Good luck with the last 18!

@MimoCa glad 2017 is starting off good. Fx it stays that way, for all of us :)

@laeberge3 sorry about the pcos, but having your sister's wedding to focus on should help!
  • @nalex420 it's hard enough going through a mc, but it sucks even harder when you have people close to you that are still pregnant and going through the milestones you would have been. It's the worst. Hugs.

@amberruka good luck with all the opks! Hope you can find that surge!

@RiverSong15 Same here with the next three months at work! I'm hoping that will be good for me to keep my mind on something else! Fx for your testing this cycle!

@allowachick sorry for the whirlwind December. Good luck with the tupperware. Now I'm a pyrex gal, and I LOVE it.

@vlagrl29 sorry for your loss, post anywhere you feel comfortable.

@Mack2342 that's nice you're not feeing the urge to test. Hope the calm remains (and a bfp of course!)

@MimoCa sorry again that you find yourself back here :(

@laeberge3 congrats to your sister, that will be a fun distraction!

    1. Introduce yourself (if you're new). me29, dh31, mmc at 11 weeks in oct 2015. mmc at 8 weeks in oct 2016. Went back to trying right away, and this is my first full cycle after my d&c in early November. Lots more ups and downs with ttcal this time, but I still have hopeful moments.

    2. Status (WTO, TWW, Benched, etc.). TWW, possibly 3DPO...will test next week!

    3. Rants/Raves:  None at the moment. About to hit the gym, hoping it's not too busy :joy:

    4. GTKY: New Years resolutions? Yes/No? What are they if you made any? Not really. But DH and I decided to double what we save each month, so that will take a bit more budgeting, but awesome if we can do it. I am also cutting back on alcohol as well. I was doing well last summer, then got a bfp, but after the mc, kind of said F it. But I'm good now so yea! haha.

  • @justsuzie.  I think if I could be as active as i used to bei could loose the last bit easier.  I only teach my aerobics 2 days per week. I used to teach 6 days prior to TTC and I ran a couple times per week. My DH and I used to run half marathons twice a year.  I no longer can run...,I have arthritis in my hip and knee so running is very painful.  I've tried a few times, just not worth it
  • @Mack2342 Have you tried interval biking? I heard that's the best way to go if you can't do the impact.  Not sure how arthritis will fare though.
  • Hey guys...sorry to not check in with all individuals but I'm mobiling right now and there's so many comments to catch up on.

    1) I'm 32, DH 34...TTC since Oct '13. Twin MC at 18w5d in May '15

    2) CD2, benched from naturally trying until August so we'll do IUI #1 with a frozen sample in Feb.

    3) Rant - a nurse at my REs office said their protocol for IUI is to prescribe Clomid, have you take it and then come back the day after +OPK for the IUI so no monitoring, nothing like that. I'm meeting with my RE on 1/9 but I'm thinking I should demand to be monitored...is that crazy? I'm paying a lot of money for this and you're not even going to monitor me?!

GTKY: DH and I only one resolution together...we are going to read the Bible together. We found a one year reading plan thay does 3-4 chapters a night. I've started a bunch of times but never finished and DH has never started so hopefully we'll stick to it.

    1. Introduce yourself (if you're new) not new, but I will reintroduce myself, I am 36 (man I feel old) dh is 32. I had my first Mc at the end of march 2016. In June 2016 I was diagnosed with an ectopic pregnancy. I got a methotrexate shot and was benched for three month. Saw an RE in September and was benched for another month for testing.  Testing didn't show anything but the dr made some recommendations.  In November started ttc again.

    2. Status (WTO, TWW, Benched, etc.) Tww right now dpo 4. Feeling anxious this cycle.

    3. Rants/Raves. Not ready to go back to work after a three day weekend.

    4. GTKY: New Years resolutions? Yes/No? What are they if you made any? Not really a New Years resolution but just a goal to increase my amount of self care, eat better, and workout more, or at least some.

I have read read all of you ladies comments and I am rooting for all of you!

@nalex420 it is hard when the people around you are pregnant. My boss and another co-worker were pregnant when I went through both my losses. I had a mixture of being happy for them but really sad for myself. So hug!

@RiverSong15 FX this is your month

@SP128 FX your timing works out

@pumpkin0913 that bread sounds so good! I would beg for the recipe, but DH hates blueberries and I would end up eating it all by myself.

@allowachick I hope everything works out with your school.

@vlagrl29 I'm so sorry for your loss. CP, MC, MMC, a loss is a loss is a loss. Please never feel like you don't belong here. Talk to your partner and discuss what you guys want to do in terms of TTC. There is no wrong answer and whatever answer you come up with does not have to be a permanent one. Open and honest communication is key.

    @MimoCa ***hugs***

    @laeberge3 ***hugs***

@soontobemommahowe I'm not sure if I would demand to be monitored, but I would absolutely ask your RE why their practice is to not monitor and express that it is important to you that you are monitored and see where it goes from there.

    1. Introduce yourself (if you're new) Not new, but more active at the TTGP board. M/C at the beginning of December, I was 5 1/2 weeks.

    2. Status (WTO, TWW, Benched, etc.) TWW, honestly I have no idea what dpo because I'm not even sure that I ovulated.

    3. Rants/Raves Tomorrow (1/3/17) was supposed to be our first u/s. Trying to focus on other things. Applied for a new job yesterday. Hopefully it will pan out. Really would just like AF to start. I decided to start temping next cycle and I'm ready to get started.

    4. GTKY: New Years resolutions? Yes/No? What are they if you made any? Yes, try to stick with better habits of being neat and tidy. It's not that our house is disgusting or infested with bugs or anything. We just have the tendency to leave mail, coats, my purse, etc on the dining room table. Forget to put dishes in the dishwasher right away, things like that.

  • I just want to add to those of you 35 and older - age is nothing but a number. It does NOT mean you are old and your chances are less. Screw that. I'm 36 and have never felt healthier in my life. I know we all have different TTC backgrounds but we are in our prime. That's just how I feel anyways.

  • @vlagrl29  Amen.  My 30s were by far my healthiest most physically fit years.  I feel great but I have to admit that I am nervous about turning 36 in a few weeks.  I may need a prep talk from ya when it gets closer

  • 1. Introduce yourself (if you're new): Heyyyy, wanted to come say Happy New Year to all you lovely people. Not exactly new, but my presence has been very spotty for the last six months or so. I'm Renee - first pregnancy ended on January 25, 2016. Have been trying ever since. Just waiting on cycle eleven after loss to wrap up. Official diagnosis of unexplained infertility came this month (possibly low progesterone, though I think I've fixed that with regular acupuncture). Starting my first cycle of Clomid next cycle. I ovulate on my own without any trouble at all, so the hope is to stimulate more than one follicle for a better shot. It's risky because my maternal cousin had fraternal twins at 22. Will do three Clomid cycles with timed intercourse as a placeholder until June when we'll start IUI with undetermined medication, as we're travelling in May and I don't want to get into all that monitoring before a trip. I was also too sick to get out of bed or eat or really breathe when I was pregnant, so yeah didn't want to go full steam ahead until after we return.

    2. Status (WTO, TWW, Benched, etc.) TWW, 11DPO, BFN on a frer this morning, so really kinda WTAF

    3. Rants/Raves My acupuncturist has been off for the past two weeks and I turned into a sobbing, moody mess. I don't ever get mood swings, so the bfn felt even worse than ever (and it feels pretty awful after this long anyway). Going tonight and can't wait. DH was off work for a little more than a week and he went back today - had horrible nightmares so I guess I wish he was still here with me.

    4.  Not really a New Year's resolution, but I have been working on doing less emotional (and hell physical) labour for friends who aren't bothering to return the favour. Infertility is fucking hard, grief wipes you out and I am so, so tired; I can't do everything I used to do, particularly when there's no effort being made on the other side. I'm the kind of person who will do anything for anyone I love and leave nothing left for myself, so it's a struggle. Probably going back to school for a degree, or at least dipping my toes in with some courses this year.

1.)MMC in March 2016 and another in August 2016.

    2.) See Rant below.

3.) I had my fourth day of positive wondo opk this morning. This is my first cycle temping and i had a temp shift on Sunday morning but I wasn't sure if that was due to me temping an hour later and drinking the night before and then I had a positive opk that morning.  . Just frustrated as I wanted to have a clearer indication of when I O and feel like i have trouble each cycle.

4.) Not a huge New Years resolution person but I do want to eat healthier and DH and I are trying to save up our money to buy a new house this year.

@nalex420 - its so hard having people in your life due around the time you would have been. It really just feels like a slap in the face on top of everything else. Sending you hugs!

@riversong15 - Im glad you are feeling all zen this cycle and I hear about you letting yourself go last year, its amazing how the stress and sadness of this process can affect so many parts of your life.

@pumpkin0913 - that bread sounds yummy and congrats on being debt free that must be an amazing feeling!!

@vlagrl29 - Im so sorry for your loss!

@mimoca - Im hoping 2017 continues to go well for you and the rest of us. The new year really feels like a fresh start this year.

@laeberge3 - Gl with whole 30. I have looked into trying that but all the advanced prep work it would entail kind of intimidates me. You will have to let me know how it goes.

@justsuzie - I can't believe you still haven't gotten your AF yet - I can't imagine how frustrating that has been. Hopefully the drs office will be able to help. Love the wallpaper for your art studio.

@soontobemommahowe - I have never been on Clomid but for what these treatments cost it does seem weird that they would not monitor you more.

@reneeannemm _ welcome back to the Board even though I am sad you still find yourself here.  GL with Clomid, hoping this treatment will help you get your rainbow baby!
  • @TScalei Thank you. We'll see how it goes! Anything different is better as far as I'm concerned at this point it's been so many months of the same.

  • Let's kick off this new year as a community!

    1. Introduce yourself (if you're new)
Missed Miscarriage at 10 wks (baby stopped growing around 6 wks)
    Chemical pregnancy right before Xmas.

    2. Status (WTO, TWW, Benched, etc.) TWW. Have my anual appt next week and I might know if I have a BFP. I'm doubtful given the 2 losses in a row.

    3. Rants/Raves
It is chilly and rainy today. Is it spring yet?

    4. GTKY: New Years resolutions? Yes/No? What are they if you made any?
    None
  • @SoonToBeMommaHowe It doesn't hurt to be vocal. THe worst they can do is say no, but they may also agree to monitor you.  Good luck.

@SP128 I turned 36 last May and it was actually harder than 35...I have no idea why.  I thought, oh geez, now I'm old.  But, now that I am almost 37 I really don't feel that old.  Don't stress over it.

@jmn1985 Good luck this cycle, and running can only help improve your mood when ttc.  Nothing like getting away from everything for a little while and get into that running zone.  I love the feeling afterwards too!

@reneeannemm  Fair weather friends suck.  You don't need that in your life.  I think you will feel better strengthen relationships with friends who reciprocate.  I have 3 close friends in my life and that's pretty much it. But, it's all I need.

@TScalei  Woo hoo for house buying.  That is so exciting!  I loved the search when we were looking for a house.  I wish I had searched a little longer though and found a house that isn't a money pit!  I went with an older house, and I am paying the price.  I think you lose character with new construction but also lose a lot of the problems that come with an older home.  Good luck in the process.  How exciting!
  • Thanks @justsuzie- we are just at the beginning stages of it but its exciting to think about and something else to focus on. Im with you-I love all the character of older homes but unfortunately they usually require a lot of work.
