We are actually benched and TTA at the moment, but the Babies on the Brain board is pretty much dead, so hoping I can sit with you girls?
Ages (you and SO): SO is 34 and I am 27.
How many months have you been TTC? We're TTA at the moment, waiting until after my Nexplanon expires for several reasons.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? Nothing yet, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it and I'll update then!
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) Well, **TW babies/children mentioned** I have a 5y/o DD with ex-H, a 17mo DS, a 4mo DS, and a 9y/o DSS with SO so we may seem insane for wanting to TTC, but we're just not 'done' yet. DD asks me nearly daily if 'the next baby will be her sister'. We'd like to at least give it one more go just to say we did! We'll be thrilled regardless of sex though. We have no pets, and I'm a SAHM/Student who enjoys baking, learning, enriching materials, and artsy fartsy stuffs. SO is a welder/fabricator/carpenter/mechanic/jack-of-all-manly-trades lumber jack with a nice beard and super cute butt
I've been lurking and intermittently love titting and commenting, so it's about time I introduce myself instead of looking like some random drive-by lady. Looking forward to getting to know you gals
Re: Newb Thread 01.01.17
Ages (you and SO): I am 28 and DH is 35.
How many months have you been TTC? Starting the 2nd calendar month, 1st cycle (waiting for AF to come...still)
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? PNV, OPKs, FF, reading Taking Charge of your Fertility
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) We are in the process of moving so that is keeping us busy! We have a dog who we are obsessed with.
And...we spend way too much time watching House Hunters.
Looking forward to "meeting" you all and learning from each other!

Hi everyone!
**tw loss mentioned** I introduced myself a few months back, moved on to the July17 bmb and just recently suffered a mc. We're not ready to try again just yet, but I figured I'd say hi again and participate from time to time until I'm ready.
Ages (you and SO): I'm 29 and DH is 33
How many months have you been TTC? Currently benched but will continue to tta for the time being.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? Nothing at the moment.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) I have one son age 18 months and 2 crazy cats. I work for a hospital in the radiology department, I am learning to crochet (anyone need a crooked scarf?), I love to bake and I can sing every song on Goldie and Bear (ds's favorite show).
While I'm not ttc at the moment, I've lurked here for a while and I'm rooting for BFPs for everyone. Here's to a better 2017!
Hi everyone! I was active here on the Bump a few years ago when I was TTC with my son. We are now TTC again much later than we had originally planned haha. Excited to get to know everyone!
***TW*** I got a BFP on my last cycle but it was a CP so I don't have high hopes for this cycle.
Ages (you and SO): DH and I are both 26.
How many months have you been TTC? 4 months I'm in the middle of my 6th cycle.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? Timed intercourse and PNV.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) I have one 3 year old son. My only hobby is reading. I'm in retail management. DH is a SAHD.
How many months have you been TTC? None, TTA at the moment, but lurk here (a little...) due to the BOTB board being dead.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? Nothing but practicing
ETA IT DELETED HALF MY POST!!!
About myself: I currently have a 10 month old son who just started walking Christmas weekend!! I work at a bank, and am currently very obsessed with sewing, and starting to crochet again. DH and I love to watch criminal minds, but actually haven't in over a week! So busy!
DS2 due 12/12/18
Ages (you and SO): I am 32, DH is 31
How many months have you been TTC? This technically is the first month. I stopped taking the pill back in August but we've been using other protective measures until now.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? I've just been tracking my periods since coming off the pill. They've been a little all over the place (to be expected) so even though I'm trying to time intercourse, I'm sure I'm off. Will look into temping and OPK in the next couple of months if necessary. Also taking PNV.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) I'm a SAHM to 2 yo DD, and two dogs. One of the dogs recently went paralyzed, got back surgery, and is about to start physical therapy to hopefully walk again. Sigh. She is proving to be more needy that my toddler lately but she is my original baby
Edited: format and such.Trying to remember how the bump works...it's been awhile!

Ages (you and SO): I am 27 SO is 32
How many months have you been TTC? This is our first month trying to conceive.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? OPK's, PNV, CM, and tracking my cycles for 6 months.
Tell us about yourself!
I'm still trying to figure out how to post and reply so I hope this turns out ok. DH and I just celebrated our 4th year wedding anniversary and decided to TTC about three months ago, but decided to wait till 2017. I'm a huge homebody and it has rubbed off on DH. We have a 8 month old min pin, bought a house 6 months ago and are remodeling it (it was built in 1985). It's taking forever because DH is doing all the work. He works in construction and I work at a sonogram office as an administrative assistant.
Ages (you and SO):
SO is 34 and I am 32
How many months have you been TTC?
We're TTA at the moment. We'll be TTC this summer
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?
Preparing to TTC. I'm reviewing how to chart, beginning to track temp and CM. I just started taking a PNV.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.)
My DH and I have been married for 7 years and have 2 dogs. We also have a 21 month old son, who keeps me on my toes. I was here a few years back when I was TTC my son. This board was very informative and helped me have a place to vent/talk about TTC. As for hobbies, I like to read and I'm trying to get into running. Honestly, I hate running but I try to run a 5k every month. I'm going to be trying to lose 10-15 pounds over the next few months. The problem is... I like food too much.
Ages (you and SO): We are both 38
How many months have you been TTC? *TW loss mentioned* 8 months to get KU that turned out to be CP, 7 month bench to regulate thyroid, now 5th cycle TTCAL *end TW*
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? I can't believe I've been on PNV since 05/15, but yup. Tracking and OPKs, I have a very erratic schedule and nervous about becoming completely OCD so I don't temp, but may consider it in the future.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) No kids. Got married when were 36. We have a 12 year old cat named Pooka (I found her when she was 5 weeks old and crawled into my car engine). I'm a physician assistant and DH works in construction.
CP 1/25/16 4.5 weeks, developed Graves' disease
Ages (you and SO): We are both 33.
How many months have you been TTC? 2 months
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? Tracking my cycle and then sex on a few of the fertility days.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) We have a fur baby (13yo aussie shepherd mix). We enjoy traveling, cooking, and good conversation. We're both attorneys so we decided to get settled career-wise before trying for a fam. Unfortunately, I am still not totally settled but we didn't want to wait anymore, so here we are!
Ages (you and SO): Me: 28 DH: 31
How many months have you been TTC? : Haven't started trying as of yet. I'm waiting to finish this pack of birth control pills. My last active pill is tomorrow, first "non-active" pill Wednesday. I should start my cycle Friday and take my last pill next Tuesday. Ignore me, I'm excited.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: When we start I'm going to track my cycle and temp.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.): No kids yet (will start working on our first

How many months have you been TTC? We've been trying for 3 cycles.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? Charting
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.)
I was on here for my first pregnancy. My dd is now 4 1/2. I'm still involved with my birth month group on fb. My dd wasn't planned. We had just got married and I was naive at how this all worked lol. I've been dx with hasimoto and pcos. Although it's only been 3 months trying, but my Dr and I are concerned about my fertility. This cycle I'm going to start using the Ovulation test strips. I'm a social worker at a hospital. I love what I do. My SO is a probation officer. We work a lot and spend as much time as possible with our daughter. That's our lives. We've always wanted two children. I'm more of a lurker than a poster but will chime in every now and then.
Hello everyone! I thought I might as well introduce myself.
Ages (you and SO): I'm 29 and my DH is 30.
How many months have you been TTC? This is cycle #1! I'm 3 DPO, and driving myself up a freakin' wall symptom spotting.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? OPKs as well as using an app to track.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) I'm a teacher, and DH is a small business owner. In my tiny bit of free time, I crochet. We have two guinea pigs that we love to death!
Ages (you and SO): I am 31, DH is 35.
How many months have you been TTC? This is our first month/cycle.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? Preseed, tracking CM, and fertility apps.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) I am a wife and step-mom to 3 kids, and a dog mom to 2 giants. I feel like I am losing my mind regularly between all of them. I work in the accounting field, although I yearn to be a teacher. I am the type of person that jumps in head first; I sometimes obsess over one or two "things" (activities, vacation planning, TTC, etc) but that's I how I keep my mind focused, otherwise I am all over the place and get anxious. So since starting TTC, I have overloaded my brain with every bit of information I can. Which is very strange and difficult for me as I get nauseous and light-headed just talking/reading about medical stuff.
Ages (you and SO): DH is 30, I will be 30 on the 30th
How many months have you been TTC? We have been TTC for 2 years now, but on and off. We are back from a 7 month hiatus currently. I am in the TWW of my 1st cycle after a break.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? Charting currently. Temping made my anxiety and stress out of control in the beginning of last year. I will go back to it after another few cycles of BFN.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) **TW babies/children mentioned** I have 2 beautiful girls who are 9 and 6. We also have a lop ear rabbit named Trix (boy), and a beautiful calico kitty we rescued in September named Rory (girl). I am a photographer and work the desk at my girls dance studio. Yes I am a dance mom but no I am not cray cray.
They compete and love it so much, but TV is NOT what its really like.

Ages (you and SO): I'm 28 and DH just turned 31
How many months have you been TTC? We just decided to start yesterday! (We've been discussing it for months and months though)
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? Charting when I remember to
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) DH is a mechanic for a construction company and I work for a non-profit that helps patients get free meds. We just bought a house a couple of months ago, so we're still getting things ready around there. I have a huge make-up obsession and a room in the new house dedicated to it and my closet (future nursery so hopefully I won't get to enjoy that room too much longer!) and he's a Harley guy.
Ages (you and SO): I turn 34 today, DH is 38
How many months have you been TTC? About 10 months/ 12 cycles now, this month marks one year since we started but took a break for 2 months at one point due to Zika-related concerns
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? PNV, temping, CM, OPKs, baby aspirin for a health condition, also have tried raspberry tea, pineapple core, robitussin at some time/s. This month will start the process of seeking medical help.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.). I'm in medicine, DH is in commercial real estate. I'm actually starting to work part time this year to see I'd decreasing work stress will make any difference since I was very stressed out towards the end of last year. We have no kids or pets. We love traveling, entertaining and going to movies.
I am not exactly a newbie sine I was active here earlier last year. The stress and pressure got the best of me and I decided not to return after being benched for Zika concerns. Since then though I still lurk all the time and have seen so may familiar names move on and I have been rooting for them from the shadows. Still don't think I will be a daily poster here but would love to be able to chime in every now and then when I feel up to it so I hope that's ok. Looking forward to getting to know all of you and hope your stay here is short!
TW : Loss mentioned
Ages (you and SO): Husband is 30 and I am 31.
How many months have you been TTC? Depends on how you look at it. We were married in June 2015, got pregnant in October on our first try, and got pregnant. I had an early miscarriage at 7 weeks. Shortly after that I was diagnosed with a severe, late stage chronic illness. So we held off and I began treatment in January 2016. It's been a full year of treatment now, and so even though it's complex and I will never be 'cured' I am feeling well enough to try again. So, this month will be our first official month back in the game after being on the bench for a long time!
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? I practice the fertility awareness method. I follow the Weston A Price dietary restrictions (lots of good fat, super nourishing) and I take vitex, evening primrose oil, methyl Folate and Methyl B12. Oh and we do it
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) I am a freelance writer and family photographer, and I do lots of odd jobs to keep up! I love traditional cooking (fermenting, soaking, bone broth) and any thing outdoors.

@Knottie68774814 welcome and congrats on getting your illness under control and starting TTC again. Sorry for your loss and I hope your stay here is short. Also you should change your user name to something more recognizable so that we can tag and find you easier. I think you have to go back to the knot to do it.
Ages (you and SO): I am 27 and DH is 28
How many months have you been TTC? We are in our 5th month/cycle of ttc.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? Charting with FF, OPKs, pre-seed. I've been a vegetarian for 3 years but I recently started eating meat again in the hopes that would help. I think I'll start tempting next month.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) I've been married to DH for 4 years. We have 3 (yes, 3) cats and we just got a crazy puppy a few months ago. I'm a huge animal person, obviously. I'm an occupational therapist and my hubby is a teacher. I've been lurking here for a while but I finally decided to jump in. This journey is tough but I'm glad to be a part of an encouraging community. ☺
Ages (you and SO): DH is 27 and I'm 25
How many months have you been TTC? Stopped taking my bc on 1/1/17, so this will be the first cycle.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? Temping for now. May add OPK in a few cycles. Been taking folic acid for 5 months.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) DH and I have been together since high school and just celebrated 10 years together / 4 years married in Dec. We have 3 kitties. Both of us compete in powerlifting and strongman. We rock climb indoors weekly. I'm a CPA working at a nonprofit, and he's an engineer. This will be our first baby.
Dating: December 2006
Married: December 2012
TTC #1 Since: January 2017
@Powerlifter
FX for you. And so cool you powerlift. I trained to compete in bikini/fitness a few summers ago and then I had a major anxiety attack and pulled back. Now I just run and do at home workouts. Welcome.

How many months have you been TTC? First cycle back. *<TW>* We are ttc #2, originally planned on waiting until 2018, but got diagnosed w DOR during a routine blood work to check out why I was so tired. So per my doc, we are trying asap. I am still wrapping my head around this.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? Temping, OPK, PNV, Vitamin D, Omega 3 gah...I am exhausted just typing this out !
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) DH and I have been married 4 years. We have ds 14 mo, a dog (my first baby) who is 9 years old, a 12 year old grumpy cat. I work full time and I am a fitness fanatic! I work out everyday and if I could, I'd do 2 hrs a day but that's prob not a good idea when I am trying to be a fertile haven
Otherwise, love to read, eat, and watch TV. Bloodline season 2 is my current obsession.
Ps. I've been lurking for last couple of weeks and may continue to do so until I get the lay of the land!

Hi All! Newbie here and I am so thrilled and grateful to have found this online community.
Ages (you and SO): I'm 31 and my wife (DW?
) will be 31 in a few months. I intend to carry any future LOs for our brood; She'll be the one handling this prego lady *fingers crossed*. Lucky her!!
How many months have you been TTC? We're pre-TTC at the moment, and are hoping to start this summer. I've got an appointment with my Certified Nurse-Midwife(CNM)/ at a fantastic OB-GYN practice to have my yearly checkup and begin all the tests and pre-TTC things. We've begun the arduous process of searching for sperm donors using an online cryobank and combing through profiles to figure out who's got the swimmers to help us grow our family!
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? Well, I joined this community, for starters! I've been charting my cycles for over a year in preparation for this, and when I meet with my CNM, we will talk about what other steps I should start. I've been getting my body healthy as much as possible on my own over the last year.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) DW is an accountant and I'm a Social Worker -- I run leadership conferences for middle and high school students. We've been together 7.5 years, and we will celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary in April 2017! We're fur mamas to two cats. My wife loves football, baking, and playing guitar. I love travelling, spicy foods, Harry Potter, and roadtrips.
I've always known I wanted to be a mother, and I know it's a long road ahead for us I am thrilled and terrified for this journey. My wife is too -- she is such a nurturing, kind-hearted woman and I can't wait to see her thrive in the role of mother to our children.
That's all for me!
My wife and I have conceived a babe with my body and frozen donor sperm through IUI, with medication support (clomid, ovidrel, and injections of progesterone)
IUI #1, #2, and #3: Dec 2017, Jan 2018, and Feb 2018 - all BFN
HSG Test: April 2018 - all clear!
IUI #4: April 15/16, 2018 - BFP!! EDD: Jan 7, 2019
@rms924 lol "grumpy cat" sounds like the title for a sequel of Phoebe's "smelly cat"
@lala2moms2be I'm in awe of your preparedness and wish I had been as on top of things at the beginning. Also, Harry Potter for the win! I just re-read all the books actually
And YES Harry Potter for ALL the wins!! I've been a Hogwarts-lackie for 20 years, to the point where I'm seriously considering the name Gryffin for a boy, if I have one. Wifey and I are both Hufflepuffs...but Huffle just doesn't have the same ring to it!
