First post, and on mobile so let's see how this works out.
Ages: I'm 27 and my husband is 28.
How long we've been TTC: About 2 weeks
WAYDTGKU: Not much, because my husband is deployed. He had leave over the holidays and we used the time to go on a belated honeymoon, so we started trying then. If it didn't work this time, then we can try again in 4 months (if we're lucky. If not, it'll be 8 months before we can try again).
More about me: I'm a kindergarten teacher and army wife. We have two furry guys already- a cat and a dog, who we think will be amazing big siblings to a little brother or sister. I'm a big history nerd, so I read a lot.

Hi all! I'm not a newbie but have been mia for some time. Always lurking to keep up with some of my faves but definitely had to take a break. I wanted to reintroduce myself though.
1- I'm 32 H is 36
2- We've been trying total now 14 months. TW- I had a MMC in June and another loss in September. So this is 14 months total and my third month after our 2nd loss. We benched ourselves for three months even though it wasn't necessary to get some testing and for our sanity.
3- PNV, HIO, temps, OPKs and cm and cp when I remember.
Hi, I'm new to the bump so I thought I'd introduce myself!
Ages (you and SO): I am 29 and DH is 33
How many months have you been TTC? We're TTA at the moment, waiting until after my best friend's wedding and my last professional exam (if I pass), which are both in april.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? so far, nothing. I just finally got my husband onboard with the idea. I'm ending my current pill pack next week and am not sure if I should pick up the new one at the pharmacy of not. It's one of those 3-month packs and I've read that you should give your body time to adjust to being off the pill. Any insight?
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) I lurk on here sometimes, haven't posted very often. I've got BOTB but need to focus on studying first, the struggle is real. DH and I love to travel, love live music, photography, hiking, water sports, etc. we recently purchased our first home. We are both in the architectural professions and met in college. We have two kitties.
@JJesco welcome! I would definitely give your body time to get used to being off BCP. It took mine months to calm the eff down. Congrats on the new house! It's so fun to have a new place to nest in ❤❤
@JJesco I would stop hormonal BC to allow your body time to adjust, that being said if you are truly needing to TTA, make sure to use some form of barrier method. GL and feel free to jump in on the TTA thread until your ready to fully TTC

How many months have you been TTC? We have been trying since June 2016. I had a CP in August and an ectopic the following month in September. I just got my first AF since the ectopic today! Thats effing 106 days later. We are benched for 2 cycles.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? PNV, OPKs, and I just began temping.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) I am an artist and an art teacher. I have two lovely furbabies, Noodle and Charlie. I love being outside and have been getting back into running and hiking (I broke my leg last year really bad and wasn't allowed to do either.)
I have been following a bunch of the threads here because we are benched but haven't intro'd myself until now . But I am so eager to ttc again that I want to be part of the fun! I'm pretty active on the TTAL board but also want a different perspective from those who haven't had a loss. Might help me quell some of my anxieties.
Hi all!! Been patiently waiting for my newbie 72 hours to be up. and trying to learn all the abbreviations! ! Brand spanking new to forums like this. . So looking forward to it!
Ages (you and SO): DH is 32 and I am 38
How many months have you been TTC? Try years!! DH and I are married 4 years. . Basically stopped any form of contraception since the wedding, but not "seriously" trying. Two years ago we headed off to get ourselves checked as there were no positives. I got a clean bill of health, but DH's SA revealed that due to inner core temp being too hot the sperm wasn't forming /swimming right. This week his SA is 100% yay! !! So now it is "serious " trying time. I'm just worried something might be "wrong " with me now. so going to try for 3 months 'naturally ' and if no positives. . Heading to doc.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? PNV, FF, just bought OPK and obviously BD
@DeeVeeZee I wasn't aware when I started that some lubes can be unfriendly to sperm. If you use it regularly like I do, you might also want to consider moving to a sperm friendly lubricant, like preseed. It mimics cervical fluid and helps those swimmers swim
How many months have you been TTC? We have been NTNP for 5 months and this is our first cycle really TTC #1 by timing BD around O.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? BD, PNV, temping, FF, mucinex around fertile window, CoQ10, VitB12, OPKs (I love POAS), and I have just started to really note CM and CP on my charts.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) I am a New England transplant to Kentucky! DH and I met in college and this is home for him. I am an ICU nurse, and I am also a family nurse practitioner student and will be graduating in June - hopefully No kids or pets yet - DH and I love traveling, roadtrips, and hanging out with friends. I have to say I have been a looooong time lurker to the point it was starting to feel creepy not to introduce myself! I am new to this type of forum, so I guess I was just being shy. I have really learned a lot from you ladies from simply lurking, and am hoping to find people who "get it" when it comes to TTC - and it seems like this is the right place.
Hello everyone, Introduction time for me. I have been lurking for the last 2 months and feel like i should introduce myself.
Ages: I will turn 28 this month and my DH is 33
How many months of TTC: 3/3
WAYDTGKU: Checking CM/ CP, Observing O, HIO, Taking multi vitamins and keeping my thyroid under control.

How many months have you been TTC? We have been TTc for 18 months with 3 losses (5wk, 7wk, and 14wk)
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? BD is about it, randomly using OPKs
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) We have 1 DD who is 3. DH and I both work in the agricultural industry. We love spending time outdoors as a family.

Well! Firstly, hi everyone!
I'm a big homebody. I love spending most of my time with DH and my mom in law. We moved states a few years ago so we don't have family here. DH and I are high school sweethearts! I got off BCP in September and have been trying since then.
Edit: forgot more about me. I work a desk job in the legal industry. My DH is pretty much allergic to everything so no pets. I enjoy working out, cooking, and technology.
Tw: I'm sorry for your losses ladies and hoping the bery best for all of you
Hello everyone! I'm excited to join you in this community - here is my intro.
Ages (you and SO): 29, and DH is 32
How many months have you been TTC? Currently TTA, as I graduate from grad school in May and then we will get jobs and move this summer (location TBA!), so we're going to wait until our future is a little clear to start TTC, probably April or May.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? I'm about to attempt the FAM, so I sought out this community because it looks like many people are really up on temping and learning how our bodies work. We conceived our first on the second cycle after stopping BCP, but I know it isn't always that easy and want to be prepared for the next round of TTC. I'm somewhere in the middle of a cycle now, so I'm going to start temping at the beginning of the next one.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) I have one DS, who will be 2 in April. I'm in grad school for classics (Greek and Latin) hoping to get a job teaching. When I'm not working on my grad program or hanging out with my DS, I like playing videogames, writing fiction, cooking or going out to fun restaurants with DH, and having low key chill time with my friends. Parenting a toddler is exhausting, so my non-toddler hobbies tend to be pretty mild right now.
Hi All! Can't wait to finally join this community!
Ages (you and SO): I'm 25 (26 on January 23rd) DH is 28.
How many months have you been TTC? Stopped taking the pill in August. So technically on month 4, cycle 1. Still waiting for my body to regulate and trying not to get frustrated in the process.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? PNV, Temping, OPK, HIO, Read Taking Charge of Your Fertility. Thinking about starting the green tea and pineapple core!
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) Along with a couple of other ladies above, I work in the Ag industry for my full-time day job and also work on our family farm with my husband and brother-in-law(which feels like a second full-time job). Outside of working I enjoy reading, cooking, home improvement, and being outdoors. We have one fur baby (Australian Sheppard named Shooter). That's all for now.
I've been lurking for what seems like forever as I waited for my husband to climb aboard the TTC train. I've learned so much already just by lurking and I cannot wait to get started actively participating! Thanks ladies!
@cbobell2009 Welcome! By saying you're still on cycle 1, do you mean that you haven't gotten your period since you came off the pill? If so, I would suggest getting to your doctor and letting them know. Any time you go 60 days without either AF or BFP, you should let your doctor know and they can give you something to kickstart your cycle. Good luck and I hope your stay here is short!

I saw my doctor in December and she was convinced that my period would come back. She did a blood test to make sure everything was functioning as it should. I am nervous about it though and have my annual appointment coming up on the 18th. I'm going to ask her to jumpstart it if it doesn't start on it's own by then! Thank you for the information!
@cbobell2009 No problem! The ladies here are a wealth of information! Also, if you haven't yet, I would highly recommend reading Taking Charge of Your Fertility, it really opened my eyes and taught me so much about my body!

How many months have you been TTC? We're TTA until the end of April due to wedding schedules and vacations this summer. I look forward to joining the TTA/Benched thread until we pull the goalie!
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? I am currently taking a PNV. In April I'll start using OPKs and preseed. When we were TTC last time, I went a little crazy with temping and OPKs, and it took a lot of the fun out of trying. So this time we are going to take our time and if it takes longer to get pregnant I'm ok with that.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) My DH and I have a 1.5 year old daughter and a 5 year old corgi. DH works in advertising industry and I work as an Analyst for a small company. With work and chasing after a toddler, there just isn't a lot of time for hobbies, does Netflix count?
Femara + trigger + IUI. I have mild/moderate endo and Hashimoto's so natural is not effective for us.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.)
DH is a PICU doctor, I work in raptor recovery and education. I mostly just do outside education now since that's part time. We have 3 boys who live up to being noise covered in dirt. Three dogs, Severus is a Newfoundland, Aurora is a St Bernard Great Pyr cross and Filius is a Papillion. Fil rules the house. Well, ok, Piston and Dizzy the cats run the house, but Fil is a close second.
@bluejeanbabi05 - just had my trigger 3 days ago with IUI at 24 and 36 hours. Blah. Unfortunately, it's pretty much our usual since the endo likes to be a brat. We're just thankful that IUI has worked since it doesn't always with endo.
I'm not feeling really positive this month, but it's only 2 cycles in so it's not so terrible yet. Or so I keep telling myself. In 11 days or so, I'll feel differently.
How many months have you beenTTC? I stopped taking my pill in June. We just kinda went for it in July and August since that's how everyone around me has gotten pregnant so it would be that easy for us, right?? I started temping again in September and here we are. Recently had a huge temp dip and I'm now on CD3.
Whatareyoudoingtogetknockedup (WAYDTGKU)? Prenatals, temping, OPK. A friend recently gave me evening primrose oil. Apparently it gets your CM to a good consistency? Anyone ever try those?
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) **TW** We have a son who recently turned 2. It took us a year (literally to the month) to get pregnant with him. I did have a CP during that time frame which was obviously horrible and I was just crushed. 5 months later was when I got my positive test with my son.
I work full time-I sit at a desk... nothing fun. I loooove to cook and I curse like a trucker.
None of my friends know we're trying. I learned my lesson the first time around when I was receiving monthly texts asking if I was pregnant yet. Not fun to have to keep saying no for 12 months. So it'll be nice to get to know you ladies and hopefully encourage and help each other out!
@peregrine it's so encouraging to me to hear how successful IUI has been in the past for you. Also, ironically, I was just discussing the one vs two IUI thing with some girls in the IF thread. Between you and the other poster who got a BFP w two back to back IUIs, I feel good about spending the extra cash
Unfortunately, there's a lot of cycles in there were nothing happens. At the time, insurance covered IUI without question, but not IVF so we kept trying IUI and started considering if one and done could be ok. Then Middle decided to join us, so I can't complain too much.
I'm just glad we've got a good RE who supports us. Makes life much easier.
Hi all, figured this was the best place to get started here!
Ages (you and SO): I'm 28, SO is 29 almost 30.
How many months have you been TTC? Just had my first natural period after going off the pill a month ago, so I guess I am on my second cycle now.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? Nothing really other than prenatal vitamins, starting to track my cycles but haven't done any temping or anything like that. I didn't really know what to expect getting off the pill after being on it for 10 years, so figured I'd give myself a few months to settle in before doing that. I have to say my first natural period was awful!!! I was not expecting that.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) Been married 3 1/2 years, no kids - just pets. Both of us work full time and SO travels a lot for work. I've been trying to do yoga more often too.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? Timed intercourse and prenatals.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) I have a 3 year old son (Oliver), 2 cats (River and Dives), and a Boston Terrier (Alice). I am currently finishing up my esthetics course, will be finished next week. I'm a big bookworm (psychological thrillers mostly). I love Sherlock and Doctor Who. I'm an INFJ (for those of you into MBTI). I also love makeup, interior design, painting and baking!

@lulu1180 Yes!

Hi everyone!
Ages (you and SO): I am 29 and DH is 30
How many months have you been TTC?
Ages (you and SO): DH is 36 and I am 28.
How many months have you been TTC?
This round has been since December.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?
@peregrine when are you starting Femara? I just started last night and hopefully triggering next Tuesday
I'm not feeling really positive this month, but it's only 2 cycles in so it's not so terrible yet. Or so I keep telling myself. In 11 days or so, I'll feel differently.
Ages (you and SO): I'm 32 and the hubs is 34
I work full time-I sit at a desk... nothing fun. I loooove to cook and I curse like a trucker.
Post in TWW and keep us updated
Ages (you and SO): I'm 24, SO is 32.
How many months have you been TTC? 4 months!
