I'm sorry!! I hadn't either until college which I guess isn't that late but it seemed like all my friends had at that point. Have you tried a vibrator? I am always successful with a vibrator and a really juicy fantasy - the fantasy is key, and I have to be able to concentrate to get there.

So I have tiny little pimples mostly between my eyebrows and all around them. They usually subside within a day and a half, and nothing I've tried before or after the wax helps. The women doing the wax have tried different kinds, putting witch hazel on it, doing it with different types of cotton strips, but nothing works.
Now... Imagine that happening down below. Only they didn't subside within two days. Oh, no, the hair was growing out and I was still sore.

This reminds me of a fun eyebrow story. I've only gotten mine done twice: waxed once in high school, and threaded once a few days before my wedding. After the threading, I started to freak out that I would get a breakout or some type of terrible infection right before the wedding, so I looked through the bathroom cabinets for solutions. I was deciding between rubbing alcohol and hydrogen peroxide, and was about to put on the latter when I decided to call my husband, who knows more about these things than I do. He promptly informed me that hydrogen peroxide is a BLEACHING agent and not to put that shit on my eyebrows! Forever grateful that I called him and he answered.
So that's the story of how I almost bleached my own eyebrows two days before my wedding...
@sls@WombThereItIs - That sucks that you had such bad experiences. I feel the same way about shaving down there - that was always a nightmare for me. I used to have a great waxing place where I went every 4 weeks - they gave a discount for 'maintenance' visits and I actually looked forward to going. (But not in a weird way... Just that it would get done quickly and I wouldn't have to worry about DIY grooming.)

I've tried it all. I'm actually pretty handy in the DIY department I just never get to the point everyone else does. Since I have no idea what I'm missing I'm fine with it but I know it's kind of weird.
