I think the moral of the story here is that we need to be more diligent about reporting trolls who are engaging in name calling, etc. it's not fair for them to be causing beloved regs to get banned, when they've been far more offensive and can continue posting with reckless abandon.
Gosh I take a nap and crap goes down. I think I blew the whistle on the July thread 11weeks4days too early cause it calmed down. So glad that courtneeee troll from last night got banned.
I always miss the good stuff! Now I know why some people never put their phones down this is also why I don't lurk on other BMB... I can barely keep up with our own, haha
Seeing some of those ultrasound pics, I'm not worried about accidentally looking at the screen during our 20-week (we're not finding out. Only getting it to make sure the baby's healthy) because I can't even tell!! I can barely tell which end is the head sometimes! There was one poster in there who posted two ultrasounds and said it was a girl, and I sure saw two little things that looked a lot like penises!
@lovesclimbing I'm with you in not being able to tell what's what in some of these U/S's. When we were finding out with DD the tech asked what I saw and I totally thought it was a nice lil pair... nope that was a vagina. Yeh... I'm no help...
@lovesclimbing the ONLY time I've been able to tell was with my son at our anatomy scan. Kid was butt up, legs open and no mistaking he was a boy. My husband and I both knew right away. The tech even said how easy he made it for us.
But for the most part I can't tell what I'm looking.
Lurking. I had my A/S last week and was wanting to find out. I knew it was a boy before the technicain said it. It was like hellllllooooo. He was just in the perfect position showing off.. his goods With DD though I didnt know what was happening, it happened so fast
@NamelessAria Ummm... Like whoa I was also very confused by the poster who said a family member told the grandmother that the poster was having twins. I'm guessing she means the family member is a child who blurted something random out? Or is she saying someone spoiled her surprise? Or did she mean that it was a child with intuition?
Developing now in the July HDBD thread: bumpers calling out someone who switched to the Aug BMB and intro'd on that board that she switched because July wasn't so friendly, and now she is posting in the July BMB again like no one would notice or saw her intro post in Aug.
This is generally how I feel peepin' the July '17 board:
I think she's going to continue to act oblivious and post as if nothing ever happened. They called her out in another thread and she never acknowledged, which really chaps my ass.
I kindly direct your attention to our very own Thursday Ticker Change thread, yet another sex disappointment post coupled with a tacky 'gender reveal' at midnight on NYE.
@MrsCaliRN I am, fortunately/unfortunately, part of the July '17 board, straddling both since this could be a June baby, too. We've definitely had some...ahem...gems.
Aww boo. I remember thinking her NYE confetti idea was super cute but totally missed any mention of sex disappointment. #notreadingclosely
Would sex disappointment count as a trigger and people can flag it before mentioning?
My 15 year old niece said at my reveal "this is honestly so ridiculous and all that matters is that the baby is healthy," ha! Wisdom spoken from the mouths of babes.
My friends did something similar on NYE but it was just them and his brother and SIL. Then they took a video and shared it. So private but also everyone got to see their reaction
Re: The Great Drama Llama Thread
I about died! All your people were banned?!?!?! Hahahaha
FWIW, courtneeeex33 was banned.
Paging May 2017 ( @pshaortao ). We captured a potential alpaca on our llama farm. Please come collect it from the UO thread should it prove rabid.
hahahaha
But for the most part I can't tell what I'm looking.

I agree though I struggle to keep up with our board let alone look at others.

I wish I had time to follow some of July's glory...but for now, I'll giggle at A17 HDBD.

I really hope she meant she's doing it like just between her and her husband. That would make more sense than at a larger gathering at midnight.
Sharing bevause she already shared in the other thread.
