GTKY: Things about you as a kid! What was your favorite show(s)? Subject in school? Type of toys you played with? And anything random that comes to mind! I totally wanted to be a fashion designer when I was a little kid. I even made clothes for different size dolls and barbies and sold them to the neighborhood kids. I loved Gem and the Holograms! I was so happy that my uncle gave me a Clash doll one year for Christmas. I thought it meant a lit that he realized how much I loved the show. a few years ago my mom said "You think he knew? I bet his girlfriend at the time went and bought it because it was in style." I still think he just paid attention and new I would love it.

GTKY: Things about you as a kid! What was your favorite show(s)? Subject in school? Type of toys you played with? And anything random that comes to mind! I didn't watch a lot of tv, tbh. We didn't even have cable until I was in high school. I did love anything animal-related, though. There was that one show like power rangers, except they changed into animals? Also loved playing with littlest pet shop and building mazes for my pet rats.
GTKY: Things about you as a kid! What was your favorite show(s)? Subject in school? Type of toys you played with? And anything random that comes to mind! I was a complete teachers pet/ suck u and now a school principal- surprise! surprise! Honestly after working in education for over a decade I swear if I could go back to school now it would NOT be for education. I was a typical girly girly and loved dress-up and barbies. I also have been searching for some old school toys to give my daughters for Christmas- I am shocked at home expensive Light Bright and the game Pretty, Pretty Princess is on Ebay!
GTKY: Things about you as a kid! What was your favorite show(s)? Subject in school? Type of toys you played with? And anything random that comes to mind! I wanted to be a vet and loved animals especially dogs. I would play with toy animals over dolls like Pound Puppies, My Little Pony, and some others that I can't recall the name of. I wouldn't mind terribly to become a vet technician even now, which is an idea since I have absolutely no idea what I want to do once the kids are older and I'm done being a full time SAHM. As for school I suppose I excelled best in math and art but did terribly in history and meh in English. Maybe it's a left side right side of the brain kind of thing, how I process information.
@starphish18 I think we would have gotten along fantastically growing up together with our love for animals! I had pet rats in middle and high school, and college! I even did a science fair project where I got to build mazes for the rats.
Just my usual SPD, but it's not crazy. I'm trying to work out more.
Nothing today. By next week's check-in I'll have had my anatomy scan.

This is fun!
As a kid I loved Nickelodeon and Nick at Night. As a little kid I watched Looney Tunes. The simpsons started up while I was a kid and I have been hooked ever since. I was a little bit on the older side for those great Nickelodeon shows that everyone has nostalgia about (like "Salute your shorts," "Clarissa explains it all," "guts," etc) but I did watch them. I was a bit on the younger side for Beverly Hills 90210 when it first came out, but I watched it as well. Also a bit on the younger side for My So Called Life but did watch that.
In school I loved science. I still do -- it's my career! History and English were my least favorite. Now I think everyone needs to know history really well, because I'm a bit political and I can see the problems of not being educated and I fear we might be heading into "history repeats itself" situations, in a bad way.
My favorite toy of all time was playmobils. We still have my stash and we're giving them to my kids a bit at a time for Christmas/birthdays. I was NOT into dolls or girly things in general. I liked legos but hardly had any. I generally liked toys with construction/building/engineering and vehicles, but didn't have that many of them, as the youngest of three girls.
We are so close to moving into our house! I'd say we have about half our stuff moved. Every day this week, H and I load up our cars and make a trip out to our house. It's nice to see our current place getting emptier. We have family coming with a trailer on Saturday and we will be able to move everything that's left that day. The only thing I am not looking forward to is cleaning our current place before we check out and leave for good.

I liked Recess and Scooby Doo! We didn't have cable growing up so I only got to watch Saturday morning cartoons. I liked history and social studies in school, and lunch
GTKY: Things about you as a kid! What was your favorite show(s)? Subject in school? Type of toys you played with? And anything random that comes to mind! Hm.... my favorite show was Saved by the Bell, maybe? My favorite subjects have always been science-related. I don't remember which toys were my favorite but I always loved dancing in my room to the radio and playing my keyboard when I was really young (later on it was the clarinet and piano).

BFP!! 8/29/16 --> EDD: 5/11/17....it's a GIRL!!!
On Tuesday I went in for the anatomy scan, and got to see our little lady which was so much fun. After the ultrasound, I was told my doctor was running behind schedule and given the option to wait to meet with him or come back in about an hour. I decided I was going to leave and come back, but before I'd been gone for too long, I got a call asking me to come back. My doctor told me that our little girl is showing some pretty serious signs of spina bifida. Her skull is shaped like a lemon, she is extremely small and her head is extremely much smaller on the growth scale than the rest of her. I'm being referred out to high risk specialists, who's schedules of course are jam packed because of the holidays. I'm not sure when we will be able to get into see someone, or when we will have answers. In the meantime, though, I think I'm going to take a little break from TB. My heart hurts thinking about all of the worst case scenarios, and my anxiety is getting the best of me. I'm just not sure I'm up to participating on the boards right now.
I really hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season, and that you all continue to have wonderfully expanding bellies of healthy babies!! Hope to be back soon.
