@NYCProf I am doing the unisom/B6 route and it has helped me immensely, i do still have *some* nausea occasionally, but not as bad as you it seems. I'm 13 weeks. If you haven't been suggested yet or tried yet here are some things that worked for me:
1) Lemonade- for some reason that sour, even just a sip, really helped me the most 2) sea bands - they make special maternity ones, they are pink but i think the same thing lmao only a couple bucks, and they helped me too 3) ice water or iced drinks of any kind also helped - trader joes makes a fruit popsicle with lemon, strawberry, and raspebrry real fruits, delicious, tart, cold, amazing 4) eating tiny bits every 1.5-2hrs even if not hungry and NO BIG MEALS.
Hope you feel better mama!!!!
Hi Jess, I take Diclegis which is unisom and b6 in one. It helps but the nausea is just there unless I'm sleeping although rarely in my sleep too. Ive done sea bands and they didn't help. I got preggo pops drops which don't help but taste good. I have to work on not overeating. Did it yesterday and vomited. Thanks for your tips! I do drink lemon gatorade.
@Knottie42089123 I would suggest you change your SN to something more unique, the Knottie with a bunch of numbers thing makes it hard to distinguish who's who.
Im so happy to hear you're feeling a little better!
Lol, I considered it and then it went on so long to where now I feel obnoxiously attached to the name. I think I'm the only crazy Knottie in our birth month.
And thank you! Part of me feels guilty for taking something, but the other part of me is on cloud 9 to be feeling human again.
I'm 14 weeks and weaned off of my diclegis a couple days ago (because it ran out). Yesterday I threw up 3 times and only kept propel and half a potato down before bed. Today is another rough day. Our prescription coverage isn't great. I'd prefer not to have to get a refill and to start feeling better on my own during the second trimester.
I am 13 weeks, taking Diclegis, and still regularly throwing up. It has been worse this time with a singleton than with my twins. Both pregnancies are the same gender.

I'm at 11 weeks but today was the first time I've actually thrown up the whole time. At work, people on the phone... NOT THE BEST TIME, KID. My nausea is just getting progressively worse. And I'm not thrilled about it.
I threw up for the first time last week at 13 weeks and had to go home sick today at 14. I had nausea and gagging before, but nothing like what I'm going through now.
I'm 14 weeks today and the nausea isn't as bad as before, however, I feel nauseous after eating - everytime. I've reduced my Diclegis to one in the morning, none at noon, and two before bed. Today is the first time I skipped both morning and noon. Just tolerating the annoying nausea until bed time. I'm taking two at night before bed. It also helps me sleep although in the middle of the night I woke up for an hour and woke up exhausted.
I've been coupling Diclegis with Preggo Pop Drops from Amazon. I'm on to my second 48 count jar. Not sure if it helps a whole lot but better than nothing.

You should take something for it. Either get a Diclegis prescription or Unisom / B6 combo. Not a miracle, but it helps.
Yes! I've been feeling better the past couple weeks, but I was 12 weeks yesterday and this week has just been terrible. It's particularly bad in the mornings and right before bed. I've been keeping the vomiting at bay by constantly eating and having preggie pops and earth mamma organic morning wellness tea. I'm assuming stress related - DH and I are moving into a new place this weekend and work has been particularly busy lately.

I read in my ob gyn's office copy of What to Expect... that for a small percentage the morning sickness / nausea begins during third trimester. Sorry... I recommend getting the Diclegis.
Today I had pureed lentil with hummus, salad and pita with seltzer water. I don't really feel nauseous after eating now.... Maybe I should stick to soft foods?! Gained 2 lbs since last weight in at 8 weeks... So 2 lbs during first trimester. Not bad considering the vomiting.
I have never in my life had motion sickness--not in a car, not on a boat (not in a tree, Sam, let me be! Ok, nevermind). Anyway, this pregnancy I have developed motion sickness, which I also didn't suffer from last time.
The morning train commute requires me to stare out the window lest I vomit. And the 5 hour drive a few weeks to see my BIL/SIL was bruuuuutal.
It's so weird. Ive always been a reader, so when we went on long car trips as a kid, I'd bring a stack of books and just read. Now, if I get engrossed in my phone, blaaaarggggh.

That is brutal... I always get motion sickness... It's the worst. Waiting on my preggo pop drops from Amazon. Hope I get them... Today I have a big holiday luncheon and still feel nauseous. It was 6 hours away. I hate that I'm most nauseous after eating. Takes the fun out of it.
I get really bad motion sickness! I feel like it really started when I turned 25. I can hardly watch a 3D movie anymore! I work in oil and gas and when I was living overseas, I had to visit the guys offshore monthly, and I got sick on the boat ride out every. single. time. So glad I don't have to deal with that while pregnant. Dramamine was my best friend. Good luck!
