What are the general guidelines and rules after c/s... I know they must be more strict, but what are your weight limits and expected recovery times? @tishb or someone else with experience.
+1 to feeling a bit worthless. We were decorating the xmas tree and I took one step up a small step ladder. H didn't want me on it at all but he was screwing up the top of the tree. So he insisted that he stand with me next to the ladder and hold me the whole time. *sigh*
Last time they told me nothing heavier than my baby for about 2-3 weeks I think. They also told me no stairs, but I lived in a 3rd floor apartment at the time. Anything that requires abs is also out of the question. Such as laying down flat, getting up from laying down. It all sucks! I also couldn't drive for a couple weeks.
We cleaned out the nursery 3 weeks ago and went through all the rest of our moving boxes. The boxes are all still in the living room because I can't move them, we've been busy when H is off work, and he can't do anything by himself because he needs direction. We want to get our tree but we'll be putting it in the living room and we need to move stuff before we can set it up
@becbec28 the tree is the reason behind me trying to move a bunch of boxes. The tree goes in a front room that is basically just my sitting room, but I have it full of stuff I've been collecting all summer. By the time I get it up, I won't feel like taking it down for a while lol
Baby hiccups: are they paced really close together? I think I've felt them the last couple of nights but they were so quick together, it just seemed odd. On the bright side, DH finally got to feel movement for the second time... baby always stops moving as soon as he touches the bump.
@MLRocha I feel like the pace of my baby's hiccups have varied a bit (like adult hiccups, I guess), but they're easy to recognize because of the rhythm.
Possible TMI addition: His/her head is way down low, so I primarily feel the hiccups in my vagina or my butthole, which continues to be a little disturbing.

SO WEIRD, GUYS. The first time I felt it, I was sitting on the couch with my H and was like, "There's something happening...in my butt." I recognized it as the baby moving somehow, but it was so rhythmic it was freaking me out. Along with, you know, the butt part. It wasn't until I read about baby hiccups on here the next day that I put two and two together! Now I feel them most days.

Weird symptom from last night/this morning that has since gone away: Every time I stood up, I felt the urge to pee and some weird pain (almost burning) sensation, no matter how frequently or how much I was going, or if I had just peed. But as soon as I sat or laid down I was immediately fine as if the pressure was lifted or something. Now I get to play the game with my midwife over the phone: "UTI or Baby on Bladder?"

Baby's head has been down all day. Nothing like feeling like theres a head in your vag all day...
I feel like crap from head to toe, from the roota to the toota. All the back pain, vag pressure, headaches, back aches, shortness of breath, constipation, fatigue, contractions. You name it.
ETA: sorry I listed back pain twice. I'll replace one with major vag swelling. I fear I will look like a jello mold down there when it's time to deliver.
@gretchypoo Lol my kid's head has been down since my midwives started palpating to determine positioning at 20 weeks! She's consistently been in the LOA position every single day since then.

My babe is head down, but I have yet to deal with the head in vag problem yet. Mainly because my child seems determined to back that ass up into and under my ribcage. He constantly has his little butt burrowing into my stomach and liver, and it has gotten so bad a few times I've started to get dizzy because I can't breathe. Stupid kid has no self preservation instincts. If I can't breathe in, it's bad for both of us, kiddo.
