With the help of a very kind person at Hallmark, we had a reveal this past weekend with our immediate family and found out we are having another girl so excited!
Found out our panorama results last week and we're having a little girl! Big brother will be very excited. I'm trying to hold off until the anatomy scan to confirm it before I go crazy shopping. So excited and relieved at the low risk results, I think I cried for 10 minutes.
I am pretty sure that the Panorama sex results are more accurate than the anatomy scan. If there was not a Y chromosome detected in your blood, you're not having a boy. I know people, however, that were told the incorrect sex at the anatomy scan. I think you're safe to go ahead and buy all the pink stuff!
It's a girl!!! Had our gender ultrasound and she was moving around like crazy. But we were able to get a good shot! I couldn't be more excited. I knew it! All the old wives tales worked out for me!
I just got my nipt results back today and we are having another girl! I would have been happy either way but I kinda wanted another girl. I'm also glad to know because it helps me feel more connected to the baby in a way.
My H wants to be surprised so I'm going to have to keep it a secret. My daughter is going to be thrilled - she has been begging for a sister.
Also I'm kinda glad that my H doesn't want to know because he is truly going to be happy either way but I know other people will assume he will be disappointed with another girl. I think there'll be less of that once she's actually here.
Me: 35 year old FTM, a busy city banker living in London, and a constant worrier. My DH: French guy, car fanatic, best husband ever. Our baby boy: Due on 17 April, currently 37 weeks. I can't believe it - I made it to full term!!!! Last measurement: 3150 gs at 37+1! This is going to be a big baby
@smallanimal ugh....names...can he just be nameless? I have a list of names I like, but DH doesn't agree. And the name that he likes from my list, I only like it as a middle name and he wants it as a first name... It's a whole ordeal...
@smallanimal I think now that we know the gender and there's pressure to think of an actual name I'm kind of overwhelmed. I've had my favorite names for awhile but now that there's an actual child to attach it to, I'm not sure it's a good idea. Sophia Maraiah was the plan, because I have an MA in philosophy and studied Greek, so Sophia, meaning wisdom, and the root word of philosophy is so meaningful, but the problem is, it's so popular that I'm afraid it will lose all meaning if she's one of a dozen Sophias in her class. It flows really well with our last name too. Mariah is a family name. But I just don't think I can give her an incredibly popular name now that the time has come to pick one. Back to the drawing board!
We paid for the gender sonogram at my last appt on Friday. It was our 10th Anniversary, so we figured that would make it a little extra special. We are having a baby girl.
I'm so jealous of all of you that know already! our anatomy scan isn't until the 26th and I'm dying to know haha. I feel way more curious this time around since it's twins!
It's a healthy boy! Not going to lie, I'm dealing with a pang of disappointment as this is baby #2 and we are done, so no girls for me, ever. I'm thrilled he's healthy though, and my boys are sure to enjoy each other as they grow up together.
@lovelongdog06 I know the disappointment that you are feeling. I'm hesitant to say that we are done, although DH says we are. I guess only time will tell.
@KirstinH88 I know DH would love to give me another baby, but I just can't fathom how we could afford it. He's a teacher and I stay at home. We'd have to buy a whole new vehicle to be able to have 3 kids, let alone food, health insurance, and keeping them all happy and fulfilled with sports, hobbies, etc. I'm totally happy with boys, I just mourn the idea that I'll never have a little girl to dress up. Like so many others I hoped for one of each.
@lovelongdog06 I completely understand that. That is DH's concern. We were talking at dinner with the boys about whether or not we should try again for a sister after this baby comes and DH said "But remember, this house can't get any bigger." Hahaha But we could always move!! I didn't know I'd feel this way prior to having kids, but now I absolutely can't get enough (I mean, I can but...) I often joke with DS that our house will never be childless because I would love to foster/adopt.
We have a little boy on the way! I was so sure it was a girl...but all the old wives tales were wrong. Literally every one of them lol. I would have been thrilled with either but I was in complete SHOCK when she told me it was a boy!
Anatomy scan went wonderfully this morning, all looks good. We are having a GIRL!! Total surprise to DH and myself but we are so excited and in love with her already.
Well, we managed to stay strong on Team Green today! It was so tempting and the doc gave us a quick peek, but nothing long enough to really figure it out. I think it's a boy, but we shall see!
It's a BOY for us! We are the first in the family to have a boy. We already have three nieces. My father in law is beyond excited. It was so fun to tell my in laws and my mom.
Found out last Wednesday that we're expecting a little girl! DH and I are pretty pumped to have one of each (and my MIL, who had only boys, is completely over the moon!).
We found out on Oct 31st that Baby #3 is a BOY! I'm really excited to have a son after two sweet little girls. Definitely feel like my family is going to be complete in April!
We found out today at our anatomy scan that we are going to have another little girl! We had people rooting for both sides. My dad was hoping for a boy since he has 2 daughters and 1 granddaughter already. But, he gets another girl and he will love it. DH was hoping for a girl and so he is pretty happy. I was very neutral about it. It is a little weird. I sort of wish I had more emotions. With DD I was really, really happy and relieved she was a girl, as I had really secretly been hoping for a girl. I was totally fine with either this time so I feel a weird lack of feeling about it. I know it will get there.

Found out this morning we have another baby girl on the way! That makes girl, boy, girl, girl! We are very excited and she is healthy as could be. I think we are going with Aspen, just looking for a middle name now. The other 3 kiddos are Aurora, Archer and Adley.
