    symptoms 
    hungry all the time, sore breasts and my back hurts often. 
    rave:
    we find out in December what they sex of the baby is! I'm counting down! 4 more weeks! 
    GTKY most unusual thing I've eaten:
    escargot.... I definitely won't be eating it ever again!

    Yay! We made it another week!

    How far along are you? 14 weeks!

    How big is baby? The size of an 8 ounce steak. 

    Appointments this week? Nothing! Next week, I've got a check in with my NP. 

    Symptoms? Still a little stomach queeziness some mornings. Generally, irritable with weird hunger swings. And my stomach is clearly expanding every day. 

    Rant/Rave/Questions? Nothing much! Since we know this little one is a girl (and my last was a boy), I've been scouring clearance racks for off season deals. It's hard to plan past the 3 month size range, but I've found a lot of good deals on onesies and leggings and other items that can be worn basically year round. Kick starting the wardrobe piece makes it feel very real. 

    GTKY: What's the most unusual thing you've ever eaten? Hmm...that's a tough one! I eat almost anything and will try anything. Maybe piranha? It was really good, but definitely not something I've seen on any menu before or since then.

    How big is baby? a peach or brilliant beet (without the root-like tail, lol)

    Appointments this week? none

    Symptoms? good ol' acne is still lingering. Oh and constipation has finally reared its ugly head, ugh!

    Rant/Rave/Questions? not feeling as tired... woo!

    GTKY: What's the most unusual thing you've ever eaten? hmm, guess unusual depends on the culture, but taro root (poi)

    How big is baby? Passion Fruit or Plum

    Appointments this week? Had to push my appointment back a week to next Tuesday :(

    Symptoms? The dry heaving is horrible these days. I was retching so hard this morning my mascara ran down my face and I peed myself. Looking back it is a pretty funny scene, but I am ready for this part to be over.

    Rant/Rave/Questions? My DS (1yr) gave me a hug and waved bye to me this morning when he left for his grandma's house. I really needed that. 

    GTKY: What's the most unusual thing you've ever eaten? I do not like most regular things, so unusual to me would be normal dinner for everyone else.

    Appointments this week? 
    None, next one is 2 weeks from now for regular Doppler check.

    Symptoms?
    Headaches, occasional heartburn and a feeling full sensation. Oh and some cravings!

    Rant/Rave/Questions?
    Only two weeks until our appointment so just have to hang out till then!

    GTKY: What's the most unusual thing you've ever eaten?
    Alligator or Konch (had it on a trip to Jamaica).

    Time is flying by. It seems like I just posted in the Tuesday check in.

    Anyways , I am 12 weeks today and the size of a plum. 

    I had an appointment yesterday and they pretty much just checked the heartbeat and that was it. heartbeat was at 158. I was so happy to hear it for the 1st time especially because I now know I made it past the 9 week mark which was when I lost my last baby.

    As far as symptoms, i still feel nausea and tired and now constipation is starting. 

    My rant: I'm so tired of people asking my husband and I for money like $1,000 twice. We are buying a house soon and a baby is on the way. we are not flashy people, so I'm not sure why people think we are rich. 

    As far as food, I am a very picky eater, so I wouldn't try anything unusual. Although, when I was younger, my mother's friend tried to force me to eat racoon and believe me when I tell you, I never went back over to her house again.

    Symptoms? Heartburn

    Rant/Rave/Questions? I am at my parents' house this week, because my husband is on a work trip. Today, my MIL texted my mom to say she was 'green with envy' about the time she is getting to spend with Isaac. What a rude, childish, and inappropriate thing to do - but I guess I shouldn't be surprised since that's about par for the course for her. 

    GTKY: What's the most unusual thing you've ever eaten? I am an extremely picky eater, so if it looks or sounds unusual I probably won't try it. In my younger years, I really really loved SALT. I would eat it by itself...and not in small amounts.

    Appointments this week? Nada - We had one last week that went great!! Ultrasound tech thinks the baby is a boy so my husband was smiling ear to ear at the appointment.
    Symptoms? Just becoming huge already - This is my 2nd so I guess my body is like "oh, I know what to do from here"
    Rant/Rave/Questions? @emilyalso my MIL is also super annoying - Lately, she keeps saying I miss DD and I want to see her. But every time we go, she ends up talking to her for like 5 minutes then I play with her the whole time. Why am I bringing DD to see you when you don't know how to play with her? MIL also keeps saying she wants to buy toys for DD when we visit, but hasn't done it yet. it's been 6 months and every time we visit, she says it. BUY THE GD TOYS ALREADY! I'm tired of packing our entire life every time we visit.
    GTKY: What's the most unusual thing you've ever eaten? I don't typically eat unusual LOL

    A day late, but yesterday was...exhausting, to say the least.

    How far along are you?     12 weeks

    How big is baby? Plum

    Appointments this week? Yes, first trimester screening was yesterday! We won't have the official results for a few days, but everything looked great. Baby was really bouncing around in there!

    Symptoms?     Not much, other than a few lingering food aversions.

    Rant/Rave/Questions?     The ultrasound tech gave us an early guess on gender, and it's looking like it may be a girl. I was SO excited about the possibility of "finding this out" (even though I know it's just a guess) on the day that the first female president was elected. Instead, I now get to worry about the kind of world I'm bringing this baby into...especially if it's a girl (but really either way).

    GTKY: What's the most unusual thing you've ever eaten?     I'm also pretty picky, so I think the most adventurous things I've eaten are escargot (basically for the garlic butter) and squid. I was offered puffin and whale when I was in Iceland last year, but I didn't eat them--they are endangered, and apparently only the tourists do it. My in-laws partook when I wasn't around, but I wasn't having any part of it!

    Symptoms? Still major ms. Was hoping for that to ease up. Food aversions and sore boobs

    Rant/Rave/Questions? Jealous of all the people who have found out gender. My doc doesn't do the nipt tests with gender unless your 35+ so we have to wait until January   

    GTKY: What's the most unusual thing you've ever eaten? Not sure. I'm usually a picky eater but love to do tasting menus when trying things. I don't like seafood though and right now nothing sounds good
