Who else is experiencing pregnancy brain already?! Today alone I... 1. Forgot I had a funeral visitation to go to until my DH called and asked if I had gone yet. 2. Had a lengthy phone call with my sister, only to be completely baffled 30 minutes later about what we talked about. I had to text and ask. 3. Sat at a 4-way stop for almost a full minute waiting for the flashing red light to turn green.
I think I shared this elsewhere, but I opened up my dryer after my microwave beeped (in my slight defense, they're both in my kitchen - but my dryer doesn't make any sounds when it's done!)
I know I mentioned this somewhere before, but I made it all the way to church before I realized I was wearing two different shoes. It's not like I put them on as I was running out the door either.
Last night, I asked my husband to clean a pot that I needed to make dinner while I gathered ingredients. About a minute later, I was looking through the cabinets getting very frustrated because I couldn't find the pot I needed.
I made a phone call, then turned on my music because I was going to take the bus home. I ran back to where I work to frantically search for my phone because I couldn't find it anywhere, while I was listening to music on it. And I missed the bus.
I refilled my coffee canister after brewing a pot, when I was done filling it I went to put the scoop back in.... couldn't find it anywhere and I didn't even walk away from where we store it. I sat there dumbfounded for a few minutes until my husband asked what was wrong. Turns out I never took the scoop out of the canister BEFORE refilling it.
@MrsW524 I wore two different shoes to work one day, and never even realized it until the next day when I was getting dressed and couldn't find matching shoes in my closet. They were even different heights! I can't even blame pregnancy brain. I just wasn't paying attention.
@c1tym0m22 My DH's grandmother made him a grilled cheese with the plastic still on it when he was a kid. Now, every time I make grilled cheese, he tells the story. In her defense, though, she was a cook in a restaurant and was used to cooking with cheese with no plastic. She just forgot she was at home!
My pregnancy brain is that I can't remember what I'm saying. I may be in the middle of a sentence and forget what I'm saying half way through it!
I went to leave for work this morning, had my purse, lunch box and coffee in hand when I couldn't find my phone. I looked ALL over for it for a good 5 minutes (went back up stairs), before I checked my purse - turns out I had already put it in there. I have NO recollection of doing it.
@mamaelle27 wasn't that uncomfortable? that sounds horribly uncomfortable!

This morning I opened a new carton of milk and threw the top away. I looked all over for it after I poured milk in my glass and couldn't find it anywhere. I finally found it in the trash.
I also found a bag of sugar in my refrigerator that I apparently put in there while I was making a cobbler. I have absolutely no idea why I put sugar in the refrigerator.

@NamelessAria- Once I finished my errands and got my toddler to nap and actually stopped to think about myself, yes it was horribly uncomfortable! I have no idea how I went all morning without noticing.
I was at a family gathering this past weekend. I handed my baby to my sister because she wanted to take DD outside. A few moments later DH walked into the room and I almost had a panic attack because neither one of us had the baby.
I was talking to my sister while pouring cream into my coffee and ended up pouring about 2 cups of cream into the cup of coffee. That was some disgustingly milky coffee.
Also im constantly forgetting what I was talking about.
I apparently asked my husband 3 times if the dishwasher was clean or dirty, and he told me clean. I then proceeded to start putting my dirty dishes in it. He looked at me completely dumbfounded and explained that it was the 3rd time I asked and he told me the dishes in there were clean. I guess I was under the impression that this started later inpregnancy, but I've noticed a few slips already!
