R/R: Last night I was up till 11 working on some code (while watching a movie)... and I finally got it straightened out!! (my tw Tuesday was in regards to this project lol...)
CS/Q: not yet
GTKY: Who is your favorite comedian? oh boy... not sure!
CS/Q: ugh. WTF body?! My temp is still up this morning (not at all what has happened in my other months of charting- I know, I know you're normal till your not). I did NOT test again today because I'm tired of seeing stark whiteness. My LP is 12-13 days so AF is due today or tomorrow. Anyone have ideas why my body likes to f*ck with me?
GTKY: Who is your favorite comedian? When I was younger it was Jim Carrey for sure. Now I would say Amy Shumer, Tina Faye, Amy Poller, etc.
R/R: Conferences went well last night. I had my students lead them and the format was great. I almost got a new student, but they changed plans and put her in a new class. Whew!
CS/Q: Ummm....what? This is what my temp spike normally looks like. I'm now kind of second guessing FF, but oh well. Other signs did line up before, but I'm crampy, bloated, and tired and now I'm back to WCM. It's too early for AF...so I dunno. I predict a fallback rise in my future since this temp is pretty high. DH mentioned I felt warm this morning...
GTKY: Who is your favorite comedian? I saw Dane Cook and Conan O'Brien live, but Dane has disappeared and Conan was very scripted since it was his tv show. Adam Sandler was my favorite forever, but he stopped being funny as he got older. So I'll say Jimmy Fallon, especially when he was on SNL. @Nelbetron GL tomorrow!!! @SaphireSweetie88 MH likes Kevin Hart and Kevin James. He watches their movies over and over. @Anna_1021 We can give you input on O if you post your chart! @BertieMeetsGertie Sorry for the BFNs, friend! Time will tell.

@BertieMeetsGertie - sorry your body can't figure itself out... @NYTino24 - I agree about Adam Sandler. I used to think he was hilarious, and still love some of his old stuff.
Month/Cycle: 8/6
CD/DPO: 18/4
Timing: Great
Testing: Next Tuesday/Wednesday (10 or 11 DPO), depending on how long I can hold out.
R/R: I start a new job today...it's only 25 hours a week, but it helps DH and I a lot. Sorry if I p & g because of that. I'll try to be back for comments though. Also, I had a weird dream last night. I remembered it when I took my temp, but don't anymore. Just remember thinking it was super weird.
CS/Q: Nada. I usually don't have as many Q's during TWW I noticed.
GTKY: Who is your favorite comedian? Umm... old school I'd probably say Jerry Seinfeld. I love some of his stand-up stuff. I also like Jeff Foxworthy. DH is a fan of the Blue Collar Comedy tour and there's 2 of the guys I can't stand, but like Jeff.
As @NYTino24 suggested I hereby seek the wisdom of the group Please ladies pitch in if you'd like. Below you can see my chart and my explanation why I think FF might be a bit off with my O assessment. And sorry if the explanation is too long.
I started charting last month, so not much data yet, and of course last month was my once-in-a-year wierd cycle (loooong). Usually I have spot on 28 day cycles. So not sure how I should "use" the data from that, but one thing is sure, I also had a temp drop there after the first pike. This month I had O pain on Thursday and have been "hormonal" since around that time. I don't register OPK-t is FF, because I don't want them messing up the conclusion from my other stats, in case I can't even turn OPKs due to my thyroid issues (never managed to have a single positive OPK during the past 2 cycles, and went through quite a few of them). However, the darkest my OPKs got this month was Wednesday-Thursday. Almost completely white on Sat. I am a bit hesitant regarding CM, so only registered what I was sure of. EW-like CM and sensation continued for a few days.
Let me know what you think For educational purposes I am happy to recieve any feedback regarding the chart or how I'm handling the whole charting - still quite new to this.
Me: 33, DH: 38 Married: May 2015 TTC since September 2015
@KhRun17 I hope you love your new job!! @Anna_1021 Hmmm, that's a tough one, mostly because you have a lot of open circles. Do you temp at the same time each day or within the same half hour to hour? I'd say CD 18 or 19 looks likely. You normally see the rise after O. Hard to tell though.

@NYTino24 Thanks for the input. Anyhow, I'll wait and see. I temp at the same time on weekdays (except for Wednesday, when I wake up ~30 minutes earlier). On weekends I sleep til 1,5-2 hours later. This is as constant as I can manage. I had the chance to cross-check once or twice during weekends, when I woke up around my usual time: temped, went back to sleep, temped when I woke up for real and the 2 temps were about the same. Can not temper with my sleep much though as I am not the best sleeper.
Me: 33, DH: 38 Married: May 2015 TTC since September 2015

R/R: I'll try to make this brief. ***TW: loss and possible Spoiler for last week's Life in Pieces*** Again, thank you all for such amazing support and kindness yesterday on my EDD. At 330pm I had bright red blood when I wiped and just started crying. Last thing I wanted to see on that day. Trying to remain hopeful as my temp is still up but feeling pretty crushed. When DH got home and I got more upset over the pumpkins than I probably should have, I explained what was going on and he gave me hugs and love. Then after dinner we finally got around to watching last week's Life in Pieces and the last story was about miscarriage. As soon as I realized what was going on I put my hand over my mouth to try to hide my crying. Near the end H leaned over and held me and I just bawled and I think he was crying, too, which is huge because he never cries. It was hard but it was a moment I think we needed. ***TW end***

@rainbowturtles Oh, so many hugs for you. Only read yesterday's post today, and together with this above - my heart just melt. Hope today treats you right, and still FX for you this month!
Timing: Good? DH and I went from NTNP to deciding it was go time for LO #2 this month. I didn't track other times we HIO, but it wasn't for at least a week before ovulation. I'm not sure how this will work out, but I guess we'll know in a week or two.
Testing: Not yet.
R/R: I think my cycle is a little off, I had a 35 day cycle in September, when I completely weaned off the pump. Last month was back to my normal 28 day, but.. it's normal til it's not.
CS/Q: Thoughts? I tracked BBT for months last time prior to TTC, but it's been a while and I'm a little fuzzy on the details. Advice/ thoughts/ whatever are welcome. Temp timing on 10/22-10/23 were terrible due to DS being sick and up at weird times. Sorry if it's huge, this is my first chart picture post.
GTKY: Who is your favorite comedian? I just saw an older and newer show for Gabriel Iglesias (aka Fluffy) on Comedy Central a few weeks ago. I tend to not really like stand up shows that much, but I thought he was hilarious!
R/R: Plugging along! I feel like I made a solid effort with timing this month despite being super sick with some ridiculous cold that refuses to quit. Hoping my LP stays more on the normal side (aka really long for me!) this month - time will tell on that. Making positive progress on both jobs, so that's a plus.
CS/Q: Nothing to see this month. I didn't temp because my temps are just way inconsistent and I needed a break from the madness.
GTKY: Who is your favorite comedian? Oh gosh - I really have no idea on that. I'd probably struggle to even name one!
@BertieMeetsGertie - aren't our bodies so fun? Like thanks so much for fucking with us always! FX hard for you! AF is “due” though, so we’ll see if I even get the chance to test.
R/R: Rant: I have an extra-long
meeting today. Rave: They are feeding us
Chinese food during the meeting!
CS/Q: Nope
GTKY: Who is your favorite comedian?
I have several that I love,
but one of my favorites is John Mulaney. Since we are currently house
hunting, this clip always makes me giggle: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HAt1R6fhVs8
Testing: Betas Friday morning (and HPT because I'm not waiting for the blood test to tell me it didn't work), but I'm tempted to test tomorrow morning.
R/R: The warm/cold/warm/cold weather is pissing me off. I like my fall/winter cold! We had summer, time for cold! And my poor furry dog can't handle it, his coat doesn't know if it needs to grow or fall out!
CS/Q: I don't think I have any, but I am going to complain that the progesterone suppositories are masking any normal pre-menstrual signs, like spotting or temp dropping, so I have nothing to prepare me for a negative test.
GTKY: Who is your favorite comedian? This is too hard to choose. I love Amy Schumer. I also love Lewis Black and Bill Maher. And Chris Rock's stand-up specials are great for road trips! And whoever said Mitch Hedberg (RIP), YES! I saw him at the Improv once, it was magical. "An escalator can't break!"
@BertieMeetsGertie A lot of people get a negative on 12DPO but a positive later. Check out the FF charts, you'll see how often it happens. That's why FF recommends testing only on 14 or 15 DPO, I think. Or is 16? I dunno. It's a long time. Because that's when nearly 100 percent of women who ended up being pregnant got a positive.
@NYTino24 Whatever did happen to Dane Cook? I love him, I don't care what anyone says. His movies sucked, but his stand up is funny. I regularly quote "Let's do this, I'm a cashew." And no one gets it.
@SoraLk A single temp drop is nothing to worry about. Could be a fall back rise. Could be you slept more soundly last night. You only need to be concerned if your temp stays low, and then of course you get your period, because that may signal a luteal phase defect. But cross that bridge when you come to it.

It was really needed, and I dont know what I would do with out all of you! I am now trying to decide how I am going to do this the next couple months. I kind of want to try to NTNP but as many of you have already said in the past, its almost impossible, with everything we already know. But at the same time, I feel like im stressing over this so much that its making me crazy, and might ruin my holidays. I think I might just temp pre-O and then stop once I get a rise, and stop using OPKs. I might just try that until after the new year and then see where we are at. Haven't decided yet though.

@Anna_1021 I see what you mean about your chart being a bit hard to read. Others pointed out some useful information, but one thing I also thought about is that usually for your temp rise, it's supposed to be higher than the last six temps, which is probably why FF put it at the later spike (if that makes sense?)
@KhRun17 Good luck with the new job - hope it goes well and you love it!

CS/Q: not yet, darn temp drop marring my beautiful chart
GTKY: Who is your favorite comedian? lewis black, jim gaffigin
@BertieMeetsGertie your temp might not drop till tomorrow, but if it's still up I'd test tomorrow, some ladies don't turn a + until 4-15dpo.... fx! @khrun17 GL with the new job @anna_1021 OK, this might be long but here we go. The open circles make it tough... Were your post-O temps higher than this last cycle? If so its possible that you could make an argument that you did not O (though I think its less likely). What if you put in your darkest OPK and call that + what does that do for you? I think it might even move your O up a day. Now this is really going out on a limb, and I don't generally advocate discarding temps but what if you discard temps on CD11-13 as these are all open circles? I think if you did that it would make an O shift more clear.... For what you have I would give you O on CD 18-19 but definitely dotted because its not super clear.... sorry if that was not more helpful... @Brooklyngirl6 I hope you feel better soon @rainbowturtles big hugs girl. That episode made me a bit misty too. I'm glad that even though it was a hard day you and DH had some catharsis/bonding at the end. @ColoradoHiker welcome, your chart looks good @eggplantface Fx! @LuND OMG my waxer is my biggest proponent for pregnancy! We're the same age and I've been going to her for about 11 years now, and while I was screwing around enjoying myself with lots of anonymous partners, she was settling down and having kids, and now she's excited that I'm trying and is giving me all the advice and tips from both herself and from all of her clients, like which fertility clinic is the best, or what OPKs to use.

As @NYTino24 suggested I hereby seek the wisdom of the group
Please ladies pitch in if you'd like.
Let me know what you think
For educational purposes I am happy to recieve any feedback regarding the chart or how I'm handling the whole charting - still quite new to this.

@Anna_1021 Hmmm, that's a tough one, mostly because you have a lot of open circles. Do you temp at the same time each day or within the same half hour to hour? I'd say CD 18 or 19 looks likely. You normally see the rise after O. Hard to tell though.

R/R: I'm at the doctor for the second time this week because I think I have strep. I feel awful. It's DHs birthday and I feel so awful that I forgot to wish him happy birthday this morning.
CS/Q: chart is looking pretty but I'm sure it doesn't mean anything.
GTKY: Who is your favorite comedian? Bill Burr.
@NYTino24 Glad to hear that your conferences went well last night.
@Brooklyngirl6 I'm so sorry you are sick. Strep is the worst.

Testing: tbh I tested today bc of spotting yesterday; BFN. Maybe Friday but not super hopeful
R/R: I'll try to make this brief. ***TW: loss and possible Spoiler for last week's Life in Pieces***
Again, thank you all for such amazing support and kindness yesterday on my EDD.
CS/Q: nah. Wait and see game
GTKY: Who is your favorite comedian?
I love so many that were mentioned: Amy Schumer, Tina Faye, Amy Poeller, Jimmy Fallon, Kevin Hart, Kevin James. But I'm also a big Louis CK fan

@BertieMeetsGertie Your chart (at least at the end) looks a lot like mine. dpo 13 and temp still up, but lower than yesterday. Mine usually doesnt fully dive until af shows. My af should start either tonight to tomorrow morning as well. FX that something changes for both of us!

CS/Q: nope
GTKY: Who is your favorite comedian? I am horrible at remembering names, but I know that I love Amy Shumer, Tina Faye, Amy Poller. I saw Amy Shumer and Aziz Anzari last year and they are both hilarious.

@khrun17 GL with the new job
@anna_1021 OK, this might be long but here we go.
@Brooklyngirl6 I hope you feel better soon
