  • @rainbowturtles My RE was willing to count my one really long cycle as an outlier. It also sounds like you were under a lot of stress this cycle so maybe that impacted things too. IMO I would talk to your doc if it continues. Sorry for such a rough gd week love. Drink whatever the heck you want tonight! I'll be thinking of you.
  • @Saralee797 ugh, I'm so sorry that you are going through the same thing. This sucks.

@wabash15 I had a huge drop yesterday at 4dpo and definitely googled "can implantation happen at 4 DPO?"

  • @mrsn092714  During the TWW I often find myself googling the image of where an egg/embryo is each day. It helps keep the BSC at bay!
@norahbeansmom I think most of us recommend starting on ~CD10, usually 4-6 after the end of AF.

@rainbowturtles and @beachbunnyxo123 sorry about CD1, be good to yourselves

  • @littlebug2010 my job isn't actually primarily coding... this particular project required a lot of it though (which makes it even worse because I'm not the best programmer in the world... it's vba so I feel like it's not hardcore coding haha), and it's been a bit of a mess. I got this humongous model in excel and have been asked to automate certain parts of it, then it's rush, rush, rush... then, I'll get asked to automate a different part of it. So, rather than do something that makes sense, like take an entire week and just automate the whole thing, I'll have a nice little piece of code, then have to add to it and try to make it fit into another automation process. I don't know if the guy that's "leading the way" really gets how much of a pain in the a** it is and how much time I've spent on this... but it is what it is i guess! I also do some SAS! (sorry that ended up being a like a paragraph...)

@KhRun17 congrats on the new job!

@rainbowturtles sorry you had such a hard night & glad your DH was there for you:(

@beachbunnyxo123 sorry about the AF :(

  • I wanted to add Key and Peele! Check out their sketches about the substitute and the NFL one.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*

Question: Sorry, didn't include this above in my original post, but for some reason The Bump isn't letting me edit it.

I purchased a FRER early response (up to 6 days before missed period) and I am wondering what might be the best option to use it. Of course, the closer to the missed period is probably better, but I am getting a wee bit impatient.

I haven't had a period in a long time (because of BC), but I am thinking it is due on Monday, November 7 or Tuesday, November 8. Given that, what would you do for using it?

I am thinking maybe using it on November 4 or 5 (so only 3-4 days before) which would be about 12-13 DPO.
  • @eggplantface Thank you for the advice - I was pleasantly surprised my temp went back up to what it was as before the drop. Usually my temp doesn't drop until it's time for my AF.

My advice is to not use it at all. Wondfos are cheaper. If you get a positive on that then confirm with the FRER. Especially since it sounds like you don't really know when you ovulated (aren't temping) so you could be only 3 DPO, or not have ovulated at all, so you'd be wasting the expensive test.
