Welcome to the community!
Some great tips for benefiting from this wonderful community:
- Read The Ultimate TTGP Guide pinned at the top of the board. It is full of really helpful TTC advice and knowledge.
- Participate! Join the WTO (Waiting to Ovulate) and TWW (Two Week Wait) threads. This is a great place to let everyone know where you are at in your cycle, rant and/or rave about anything (TTC-related or not), and have any questions answered.
Please introduce yourselves. Share as much or as little as you are comfortable with.

Re: Newbie Intro Week of 10/31
**TW for pretty much the whole intro**
Hey y'all,
I was around for a while, took a bump break, graduated for a hot minute, took another bump break, and now I'm back. Benched for a few more weeks, but hoping to get back into the swing of things.
I'm 36, my H is 31.
TTGP for 14 months before my first BFP, MC at 6ish weeks, D&C on 10/14.
I'm on levothyroxine for hypothyroid, just started temping again, and will start with all the other stuff after AF shows up.
I work in Risk Management, am obsessed with my dog, and spend too much money on books. And I like cute animal gifs, probably too much.
I have been lurking for a while. I think I now ready to join the community as I go through this TTC journey!
Ages (you and SO): I am 36. My husband is 40
How many months have you been TTC? 12 months
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? Currently, going through the process of fertility treatments with a clinic. Additionally, trying to lose weight to prepare myself IF IVF is needed
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) I work for a local government working for the Recreation department. Hubby works for the same local government doing work for HHS. I am currently pursuing my master's. No fur babies. I love reading, trying out lots of new restaurants and being around family.
I was on TTGP about a year and a half ago before I graduated and joined the Jan16 BMB. I am now back to try this whole crazy thing again.
DH and I are both 32, and we have a beautiful DD who just turned 10 months.
We have been TTC since August, but really only seriously this last month. I am on cycle day 3 currently, and while I knew it would take time, that cycle day 1 is still super crushing!
I am not doing much other than DTD to get KU. Mostly because my DD still doesn't sleep through the night, so I don't get more than 2 hours of sleep at a time, which makes temping hard. I am on FF, but without the temps I know it is not super helpful. I will start using OPKs, but again, know they are flawed at best. I plan on just DTD every other day, or as often as we can with a 10 month old!
I am a teacher, and we just moved to a new house and new job over the summer because my DH was offered a full time tenured position at the college he works at. So we are in the middle of tons of house renovations. We have 3 cats, and I hope to talk DH into a dog in the next year or two. DD is right on the verge or crawling/walking (we have bets going which one she will master first!) so life I going to get a lot more crazy once she's mobile.
I am really excited to be trying for number two, and I remember how much I loved this community, so I am really glad to be back!
Aug17 December Siggy Challenge: Funny Pics of Kids Afraid of Santa
Hello! DH and I are back on the TTGP train after having our DS in N15. We finally feel like our lives back on track- since DS was born, I lost my job, got a new one, moved, and DH quit his job and got a new one as well. It's been a crazy year, and we're looking forward to adding another LO to our family.
Ages (you and SO): I'm 33, DH is 32.
How many months have you been TTC? This is our first month, in the TWW right now.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? BBT tracking on FF.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) We have one DS, 11m, and three cats. I love everything outdoors (kayaking, hiking, biking), and I'm allergic to everything that grows outside, is green and and/or makes magical fluff balls to float through the air all summer. I love Zumba and can't dance for anything. I work as a research associate for a biomedical research company, and recently discovered a deep love for LuLaRoe leggings. I'm really looking forward to joining the group again!
DS2: EDD- 09.08.17
I kind of skipped right over this and jumped in head first to the TWW and WTO boards, but here's my bio
Ages (you and SO): I just turned 29 in August and my H will be 27 in January
How many months have you been TTC? We have been NTNP for a month, and while originally we were going to try at the end of the year, I am traveling for work during my FW in December so we just decided to start trying now. November will be our first official month TTC, and I'm so ready for AF to go away.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? I'm ridiculously Type A, so I started OPK's and temping midway through my last cycle. Planning on BD'ing everyday during my FW.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) No kids yet but I do have two dogs and a cat. Floyd, Judy, and Gizmo(her nickname is Moo). Floyd is 4, Moo is 3 on New Year's Eve, and Judy just turned 6 months old. I work in insurance as a Compliance Director and my H and I have been trying to start up a business venture for H to transition into. Hobbies are reading, walking/dog park visits, and spending time with our friends whenever we don't feel like staying in. I'm extremely sarcastic, and I love puns. The cornier the better!
I'm nervous but so excited to be TTC, and I wish all the ladies here lots of luck. I'm happy to be here

Hello! I was on the bump when TTC my first, who is now 4, and am still friends with a ton of the women I met who had babies at the same time as me! I'm 27 and DH is 32. Married since March 2010. We started TTC last month and I just started my period today. So onto month #2. My doctor believes I may have PCOS so this month I'll start using OPK's to make sure I'm ovulating on my own.
Happy to be here!

Hello All
I am 31 and my Fiancé is 36
We have been TTC for 2 months
Lots and lots of DTD. We are still in the honeymoon phase of our relationship I also use BBT and OPKs
I am an IT manager and my fiancé is a physician. We go against the grain when it comes to the "rules of the future". We are totally free spirited, very much in love and just go with flow. I have a beautiful dog named Holly. She is as much of a free spirit as I am and has the biggest personality for such a tiny dog. Also the sweetest dog you will ever meet. My fiancé and I live about 2 hours from each other and soon I will be living in the land of chocolate and beer (Belgium) while my fiancé stays here to wait on his citizenship. Although he will miss out on most of the fun of watching my belly grow (if we conceive before I leave) I will be flying back and forth to see him and fingers crossed he will have a job and living with me in Belgium by May
I am extremely nervous but excited to enter this new journey of life by ttc. Having a baby was never in my plans until recently. The whole idea of being pregnant and giving birth totally freaks me out. Pretty sure I have a legit pregnancy phobia haha.
Either way, I can't wait to travel the world with my little family
****Edit because posted on wrong thread, oops!!!**

Hey everyone. I didn't do the whole forum thing last time we were TTC, and even while I was pregnant I wasn't very active at it, but I'm looking forward to talking more with ladies who can get me.
Ages (you and SO): both 32
How many months have you been TTC? Just starting. Had my IUD removed last week, followed immediately by a visit from aunt flo, so November will be our first cycle.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? Nothing specific at this point. We plan to take it easy for several months and let nature take her course (or not) before we get really intentional about trying.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) We have a one year old baby boy and his bff, our 4 year old mutt William Shatner. Both SO and I work full time (I'm a social worker and he's an attorney - he says I'm the bleeding heart to balance out his heartless lawyer-ness), but we also run a small business out of our home. After our second is born, I hope to quit my day job to focus on mommy duties and expanding the family business (we'll see though - the best laid plans and all). Meanwhile, baby has 4 grandmas and 3 grandpas who shower him with their time and attention while we are at work - he is so very loved!

How many months have you been TTC? Just seriously started. Been making lifestyle changes over the past couple of years to prepare my body and our home for future baby.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? Cutting back on caffeine (just 10oz/less per day instead of 16-24oz per day) and cutting back on alcohol, eating whole foods, exercising, sleeping more and staying hydrated! BD of course in fertile window (have been charting for 2 years since going off bc.)
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) We have 2 cats, DH is very affectionate with them (a good sign!) No kids yet. I work in PR for a natural food store and DH is an attorney. I love reading, watching HGTV, hip hop comedy, and DH and I are both vegan. I studied French and traveled to France as a student so if I don't get KU we will take a vacation there. (Consolation prize/my way of staying motivated.)

How many months have you been TTC? 16 months. It hurts seeing that number. If I don't get KU this cycle, I have an appointment at the end of the month to begin testing.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? BBT, OPKs, PNV, and all other three letter things.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) No kids yet, but H and I have two cats. I work in higher ed. As for hobbies, I love cooking, baking as well as anything outdoorsy - hiking, camping, etc. I am also very fond of gif parties.

Hello ladies!!! I have been around the knot/bump for years. I was active on the BMB for my daughter (Jan 14) in the beginning but then I got a new job that took me away from it. I've been lurking here for a while but couldn't get my old profile to work so I made a new one. I guess I need to get to work on personalizing it!
Ages (you and SO): me- 32, DH-31
How many months have you been TTC? ***TW*** I don't know how to answer this or what to put for the WTO and TWW threads. We have been trying since June 2015 but we had an early MC in July 15 and then a ruptured ectopic in September 15. We were cleared to TTC in October but then DH deployed until August 16. We tried one month (April 16) when he was home on leave. 17 months sounds deceptively long but if I only count from his homecoming it doesn't seem right either. For the other threads should I count only the months/cycles we were together? I guess it's 17 months or 7.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? PNVs, OPKs and checking CM. I'm scared to temp because I work late hours and get up at the whim of my 2.5 year old. If it doesn't happen for us soon I will probably start.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) We have a spunky 2.5 year old daughter! DH is military and I work in direct sales which is more like a hobby to me. I absolutely love it. It's a lot of hours so a lot of my other hobbies (couponing, crochet, reading) have taken a back seat. I am terrible at using GIFs but maybe I'll get better with more participation!
