AW: Halloween Costume Time!

I thought it would be fun to have a post for showing off your halloween costumes since it is Halloween time. How many times do we get to do costumes while being pregnant and with a bump to show off?!

This may be my fav holiday, no judging :P (I am a cosplayer and larper)

I'm lazy. This is what I have worn for the past two years, and I will wear it again this year. It's comfortable, it fits my belly, and since I won't be leaving the house after work anyway, it serves as pajamas. Oh, and I like unicorns.

@BlondePeanut is it not the most comfortable thing ever? I only put it on to take a photo, because I need to wash it, but I really wish I could just wear it all the time.

(For the record, he may look sad in the turtle costume because I made him sit still for a few shots... He actually loves wearing clothes and happily wears his Seahawks jersey every Sunday, and his sweatshirt when it's cold out.)

It's warm. Best not to wear long sleeves/long pants underneath. But my house gets pretty drafty so it works out.

ETA: It's also not SUPER thick. Well, it's thick but not that dense, if that makes sense. There's some airflow.

@kswiger06 the bookshelf? H's childhood neighbor made that. We have two bookshelves and a matching media cabinet (though the bookshelf and media cabinet are in storage because our house is tiny). They're solid oak, heavy as shit, but they will last forever.

Maybe Monty will do a costume change mid-evening on Halloween so he can wear both of them. I agree though that sad turtle is pretty funny.

@madamerwin yes the bookshelf... I typed bookshelf but then thought, no its probably got a different term so just play it safe describing it haha we had a solid oak entertainment stand once and after several moves my dad warned me that he would never be around to move that heavy thing again lol

This is not mine but what I am doing for DS this Halloween and will post my finished product after its done but DH and I are going as doc brown him as 1985 doc brown in the white radiation suit and me as 1955 doc brown in the mind reader helmet

Sorry for the stranger danger face block outs but the interwebs still weirds me out. This is a terrible picture but it's the only one I have. We went out after the Halloween party on our vacation last week and took this picture in a motorcycle inside of a bar. I was wearing very high heels and swollen and uncomfortable and had just sat back after trying not to flash my brother my crotch climbing into side car so it's not the most flattering look haha. We were a housewife and the milkman.

The parade was awesome last night. DS was an excellent little candy grabber. No frame-worthy shots, but here's us before it started. FFTC - I'll be back to AW with better pics that include my dogs later in the week because I cannot get enough of this holiday.
