I think I'm tentatively joining the TWW. I've been sitting in a very steady temp range for 17 days and it just spiked today, so hopefully, that means something! Here's hoping my temp continues to rise and stay up and I get some nice cross hairs soon, indicating I O'd on 10/20!

Ugh just got my 7DPO progesterone result- it was low-11.6, which likely means a bad egg. I'm so upset. I have 15 day LPs, so this isn't LP defect. Progesterone supplementation won't help. Haven't talked to my Dr, but I have a feeling I will be hanging out in limbo land for awhile. This just sucks.

@chloe97 this was a natural cycle for you right? My doctors say anything >10 is great. Did your doctor tell you that that was too low? Regardless I'm really hoping for good news for you going forward

ETA..and isn't there a chance that was only your 5dpo number since your exact O date was confusing?

@SoonToBeMommaHowe I did talk to my Dr and she said that she wasn't concerned at this point. They do want to see it over 10, but there is an association with lower progesterone levels and abnormalities. My triploidy baby had a 7 DPO progesterone level of 14.6 and during RE testing my level was 18. I was just REALLY hoping to have higher levels as some sort of reassurance that the egg was good. I think the test was taken at 8 dpo and I got my BFP at 10dpo. I doubt I ovulated later like I was worried bc of when I got the BFP.

@chloe97 don't know if this helps or not, but progesterone doesn't always indicate a healthy embryo. My progesterone was 26 at dpo14 and that one just ended at a tad over 5w. My higher than ones that made it much farther so it's not necessarily a correlation

@chloe97 Good luck to you. It's sometimes a crapshoot when it comes to the numbers and the research so try to stay busy while you wait so it doesn't drive you too crazy. (easier said than done, I know. fx.

@chloe97 at what point would you go in for betas? Hopefully that will give you the reassurance you need. I know we'll all probably worry throughout the entire pregnancy but it would help for now!

@SoonToBeMommaHowe My Dr does not want to do betas unless I start bleeding because I have late first tri losses. Last time I had bad betas and a heartbeat on the ultrasound that lasted until 13 weeks, so betas wouldn't really change anything for me, but give me false hope or a lot of anxiety. I have my first u/s at 6+2 on 11/9.

@chloe97 my acupuncturist had low progesterone levels when she found out she was pregnant and had to supplement. She's 36 weeks now and her baby is healthy. Don't stress too much. Levels > 10 on natural cycles are generally good. GL!!

Thanks @roxgibbons I'm definitely not supplementing this time. I have 14+ day LPs so I don't have LP defect. We are pretty sure my last pregnancy would have ended far earlier if I hadnt supplmented. I lost 7 months of my precious little fertile time left to that pregnancy. I'm hoping to only lose 2 months if this one doesn't work. We are on to IVF+PGS next.

@chloe97 I feel the same about progesterone, I am hesitant to take it if a pregnancy will end regardless...it just drags out the anxiety and emotional pain. Hopefully you'll have some answers either way, thinking of you and hoping you can just relax and take care of yourself this weekend.

FF gave me cross hairs! Right now it says I am 3 dpo but if I get one more high temp it will switch my cross hairs, so I think I am actually 2 dpo. Which is good because then I have better timing -2, -1, 0, +1 instead of -1, 0, +1.
As of right now I am not planning to test until AF is due because I have never gotten a BFP before then. But the BSC usually get me test at 11 or 12 dpo. Here's to hoping this is the cycle!
