It's terrible. This kid apparently likes Mexican food, the spicier the better. But is satisfied with pretty much anything I can shovel in there. I gave up Chipotle burritos when I was actively losing weight, and I could probably stuff down two burritos in one sitting right now. (I swear I haven't tried that!). Good thing finances limit Chipotle trips at all.
Made cod and andouille chowder on Saturday night, we're still finishing that off at my house. And we pulled the last beets from the garden last week, so spinach, beet, and goat cheese salad daily. I can't complain.
@ms12345 +1 to spicy! I have always loved spicy food, but I can't get enough now. Luckily the heartburn hasn't kicked in (maybe I'll get lucky?).
A thing of Breyer's orange creamsicle ice cream was calling to me, so I bought it. DH was helping me put away groceries and innocently asked "what IS this?" and I responded with a panicked "DON'T JUDGE ME!!!" He backed away with his hands up and I had three scoops and it was amazing.

I've been craving Mexican cheese corn so bad. I don't even know where to get it in the suburbs. Plus also, I think we're not allowed to have Mexican cheese while pregnant.
I have been on a major yogurt kick the last two weeks. I'm normally not a fan (it has no texture), but I always buy it for DH. Anyways, we buy this cream-topped kind, and I was looking for a snack one day and suddenly I just had to have that yogurt. Now I'm going on week two of my new yogurt love.
All kinds of cereals with extra milk! I went so long not getting to eat cereal b/c I'd get sick from the milk and didn't really like soy or almond milk enough to switch that now I'm crazy about having cereal every day! I'd prob have it multiple times a day but DH wants real food for lunch & dinner.

More grilled cheese and tomato soup over here, too! Having it again tonight. The other dinner I have been consistently obsessed with is brown rice topped with kale (sauteed with sweet onion and mixed with soy sauce, sambal oelek, and maple syrup) and BBQ tofu. I like to think these two meals kind of balance each other out.

@MoonOverGoldsboro You can add me to the grilled cheese train too. Had one with tomato in it tonight, but I had mine with miso soup to stave off my Japanese food craving XD
@marriedhamstermom +1 for all of the cereal. Barbara's brand was on sale at the grocery store last week, so I bought a box of Peanut Butter Puffins and Morning Oat Crunch (or something like that). OH MY GOD pPeanut Butter Puffins are my new favorite thing. They are sweet, but not TOO sweet - only 6g of sugar in a serving. And they don't get soggy too fast. What I really want is Golden Grahams, though.
Grilled cheese sounds good, because cheese always sounds good to me. I have actually been thinking about making a tuna melt for lunch (with the pregnancy-approved kind of tuna), which is weird because I really don't eat tuna very often.
My pregnant self is not eating Smart Food because my bag got stuck in the vending machine and I have no more money to try to get something else to push it out.
A Carmel apple my sweet neighbor brought me home from the orchard. She was sweet enough to take DD to the orchard for the day and bring me home a fresh Carmel apple.
Eating yet ANOTHER grilled cheese (dill havarti and smoked gouda on sourdough), and baby is kicking up a storm. Any kid of mine is gonna be a cheesehead, I guess!

After months of avoiding the new Shake Shack near work, I finally figured out that their off-peak times align perfectly with my weird appetite peaks, so I have been there twice this week. Maybe when I give birth they can hook me up to a strawberry shake I.V.?

So much chocolate! My whole first trimester and first couple weeks of 2nd I couldn't eat anything sweet without getting sick and now I feel like my body is trying to make up for it. I'm sneaking chocolates and cookies wherever I can!

@marriedhamstermom Samesies! Before getting KU, I could eat a bag of Jelly Bellies in a day by myself. Then all during 1st tri, I couldn't even stand the idea. I finally had some and they tasted like paint. Now I can down an entire bag of Skittles. I try not to do it very often, but like, oopsies happen.

@marriedhamstermom me too with the chocolate! I wanted A cookie over the weekend, which of course meant I made 3 dozen. Chocolate cookies with chocolate chunks, almonds, and marshmallows (which melted into a wonderful goo). There is one cookie left. Granted, DH ate a fair number of them, but I know most of them went to my belly.
