Lately I've been feeling pain really low like around where my legs attach to my crotch. From googling I think it might be a form of RLP but it seems really low.
Braxton Hicks contractions all throughout the day.. I never had it this early and frequent with my first. Still soooooooooo sleepy, if I could, I would sleep all day.
My hips are spreading way too early... doesnt my body know it has a few more months to pop this kid out? They are already so loose I can hear them pop and click as I walk.
Alot of shortness of breath which I feel like its too soon because the baby is even that high up yet. I have also been having a lot of cramping and braxton hicks contractions which are kinda of scary because I feel like they are starting to soon. I'm always hot I feel like my own personal sauna.

My midwife said 16 wks is average start time for BraxtonHicks. So I wouldn't be worried!!
@kjd291 Thanks, I have an appt tomorrow and was going to ask about it. All my babies were csection and I never really experienced contractions so with this pregnancy and the one before it's always werid to feel when I have them, and they feel so strong that it throws me off.

@kap1988 I've been having RLP located there too. The worst is when I sneeze - I can pretty much expect a cramp right there immediately after. Ugh!
On a bright note, I only used the bathroom THREE TIMES at work today!! That's a record for this entire school-year! My bladder is acting normal for once this pregnancy. Also, the breathlessness has greatly eased up. Wherever my kid is currently positioned, he/she is definitely welcome to stay that way.
I've had heaviness in my uterus area today and backache so bad that I've been in bed since 6:30. Asked my hubby to rub my back but he has been busy non stop since he got home. To to it all off my DS cooked and burnt some cookies and I got a headache from the smell. I want to take off tomorrow but I don't feel like writing sub plans.
Shortness of breath, back pain and waking up and staying awake for hours in the middle of the night for NO reason. ugh. My snoogle gets here today, I hope that helps.
I'm feeling terrible right now--throwing up all night and cramping and today I am just nauseous. Can morning sickness come back at almost 18weeks? maybe I have a stomach bug? Ugh--whatever it is, it for sure needs to go away!

Morning sickness has no end to its fury... but, if you're up all night tossing your cookies, I'd guess you caught a 24hr bug.
Anyone else experiencing insomnia? At least once a week I wake up around 2:30 and can't fall back asleep.
Other nights I'm out by 9pm and sleep until my alarm.
Yes! For the past 2 weeks at least 50% of the time I wake up around the same time every night and can't get back to sleep for a couple of hours. I just keep telling myself it's my body preparing me for all those middle of the night feedings!
I am 22weeks, STM! and finally just feeling real baby kicks! Gosh, that took forever compared to baby #1. Maybe this means baby will be easy and mellow?? ...one can hope right?
Shortness of breath bordering on embarrassing, jaw pain on one side, bizarre dreams that wake me up and keep me up for hours and a bump that's noticeable enough that work have congratulated me!
@kjd291 I've been able to feel this LO for a while, I guess it means you have a mellow one and mine is wild!
We'll see if it changes over the next couple months! It's pretty amazing what personalities you can see just from the womb!! I have lots of friends and family say their mellow babes moved less and the wild child kids danced their mamas crazy! My mom (4kids) said my brother (crazy wild child of the family) moved non-stop and kicked her so hard a couple times 3rd Tri he knocked the wind out of her and Literally dropped her to the ground!!
@kjd291 That makes me feel better! I looked back and saw I was feeling a lot of kicks by this point with DS and I'm feeling next to nothing this go round. Definitely going with mellow kids.

Yeah! I was quite nervous the past few weeks! DD was strong kicks by 17wks, and all id ever heard was STMs feel kicks sooner, but it was definitely not true for me!
Woke up at 2am again this morning! I did fall back asleep eventually (unlike Tuesday morning), but it was restless. I have such a raging headache this morning.

Haha. I keep feeling LO moving ~20 minutes after I eat. I've been joking that this kid loves food!!
@kjd291 I hope the mellow child idea is true! This baby is so chill at every ultrasound. He's always sitting criss-cross-applesauce on my bladder. I haven't felt him move yet but I have an anterior placenta so that could be why. Congrats on finally feeling baby move!

This kid moves around a lot (especially when I'm eating for some reason), but I haven't felt many actual kicks yet. I'm pretty sure I didn't feel them consistently until after 20 weeks with DS.
I am feeling the little flutters at 17 weeks, for the past few days, same as you @RunBooRun it's shortly after I eat. So if it's true that the baby in the womb = the baby's personality.... this LO likes to eat, then party.
Re: Symptoms - 10/17
I'm tired and hungry....and not for anything remotely healthy
And cramping. Anyone else with cramping??
