Testing: 13DPO but I have been tossing around the idea of 10DPO because I will need
R/R: Rant: I love my MIL but hate when she just makes plans without asking first. Apparently we are having a family dinner Saturday because my SIL is in town. I was initially super annoyed because my dad was supposed to visit but now he can't. (Double rant I guess?) I don't mind going to dinners, just ask first if we have plans.
CS/Q: Q: is there always an implantation dip in temps? My temps just keep rising, which I am fine with. GTKY: I would LOVE to have a Mazda CX-5. Mazdas are my favorite cars
R/R: DH called his parents last night to tell them about his new job. FIL asked if DH had discussed it with me before accepting it. Uh, hello, of course he did, he isn't you. I know FIL does stuff without discussing it with MIL and thank god DH didn't learn that trait. They just drive me crazy and will be visiting this coming weekend
CS/Q: I know our ovaries can have different cycle lengths which got me wondering, can they cause different BBTs each cycle too? In your charting experience, do your BBTs have the same general pattern or do they fluctuate based on ovaries? Still new to charting as I'm on my second cycle.
GTKY: I've always wanting a Sting Ray Corvette. But I'd love to have a Tesla as a family vehicle now.
Edit: Bump are my post twice this morning and once yesterday. Grrr!

Timing: As good as it could get considering I'm not tracking anything for a few months
Testing: If no AF by CD30
R/R: I made amazing pumpkin muffins with a crumb topping AND whole wheat pasta with homemade sauce today. I also cooked up some chicken to put together lunch salads. DH and I (really just me) are going to be watching the 4 month old son of some people we know this Saturday night. We don't see them too often since we moved but DH has been at the same duty stations/training as her DH so they're career buddies. She and I don't get along too well but we're just different people so it's nice to see them.
Also, since my lasik my acne between my eyes has been healing and I've started back up my at home acne scar treatments which are already showing a bit of improvement I think. My glasses always caused acne all the time on the bridge of my nose and between my eyebrows and it was painful and never healed because the glasses just press in all the oils/makeup/etc.
CS/Q:
GTKY: Do you have a dream car that you want to own? What is it?
My dream mom car is a Honda Odessy but the edition with the built in vacuum haha. If I ever had more than 4 or 5 kids (will most likely never happen) I'd get a Nissan NV which is a 12 passenger van haha. I have a new Ford Focus that I like just fine but share with DH and DH wants to get a Jeep Grand Cherokee when we move back to the States which will become my mom car once we hit 2 or 3 kids since the Ford Focus has a tiny backseat. You can tell we've thought about this haha
@bumpybump your FIL sounds like my FIL. He likes to make decisions for my MIL, and doesn't always consult her. Thankfully my DH didn't pick that up either. It would drive me nuts and we certainly wouldn't be married if he did.
Testing: 13dpo if I'm strong. My husband is going to be out of town from 9dpo on, and I want him to be the first person I tell if I get a positive (of course.) I can't realistically test before he leaves, and I'm going out to dinner with the woman whom we'd ask to be any child's godmother on 12dpo so I'm worried if I did test early and it worked out, I'd be tempted to spill the secret to her before my husband. Apologies for the #deardiary, I would just appreciate any support I can get in holding out to test because I suffer from acute POAS disorder.
R/R: Small rave today. MH and I have the sweetest next door neighbor, a woman in her 70's who lost her husband last year and whom we like to spend time with and keep company when we can. We haven't seen her in about a month, though, since she's been either pretty sick or out of town. I was able to help her with some yard work (or, try to) this morning and catch up a little, though, which was really nice.
CS/Q: Not today
GTKY: Do you have a dream car that you want to own? What is it?
I'm not hugely into cars, but I'd love one of the "less expensive" Teslas that are coming out soon. I would never want the high end model because I'd be so paranoid but the more affordable ones to come seem amazing.

R/R: I am beyond stressed with DH's new job and finding care for DS while I'm on call this week and a week in November where I will be working 12 hour nights. And apparently when I bring it up I'm "having a conniption and freaking out." Also, definitely didn't expect a BFP on my first cycle, but long cycles suck. AF still hasn't come and I am already dreading having to wait until CD30+ to O again. And thirdly, I am on day 1 of 10 straight at work and it's going to SUCK.
Apparently I am grumpy today. Sign of impending AF?!
CS/Q: Had a .3* temp drop this morning, still well above my coverline but I expect AF in the next day or two.
GTKY: Do you have a dream car that you want to own? What is it? Black tahoe. Fully loaded.
@osucma can you just tell MIL that your dad will be visiting so it won't work? That's what I'd do.
@slavenski We have a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee that we bought brand new and about two months prior to getting KUd with DD. We loved it before her but DH isn't a fan now (it's my daily driver). He's 6'1" and with rear facing car seats (infant carrier or convertible) there's not enough leg room for him to be comfortable driving or as a passenger. We still have DD rear facing but know it's be better leg room if she were front facing (but her safety is my #1). We've debated if we'll get a different vehicle if a kiddo comes along because we'll have rear facing for sure but it's been paid off and we don't want another payment. My advice is to take a car seat with you when test driving vehicles. Believe me, it'll save you a lot of headaches later.
Edit: it ate this post too! I'm about to be done with The Bump today!

@bramblerose YW. also how wonderful of you to help out your neighbor. That is very sweet
@bumpybump my dad can no longer come into town due to financial issues that came up, so it works out just fine. Though even if he was still coming he likes to see them. It's more of an annoyance that she assumes we are just sitting around doing nothing so she makes plans that gets to me. Over all though I have amazing ILs so I probably shouldn't complain
I didn't post yesterday because we were so busy, but came to say I'm officially out. Temps fell off a cliff yesterday morning, followed by AF. It was rough. GL this cycle ladies!
@GeorgiaWife6912 I hope your day gets better! Being a fellow mom, my question is, what's DH doing to help with finding care? I mean, you're both the parents and should both be figuring it out (from experience, men seem to such at this)! I'm pissed for you here. He needs to step up and help you figure this out!
@BrambleRose I share the same POAS disorder. The struggle is real. Or maybe I am a glutton for disappointment lol
@osucma no, implantation dips are not apparent on every pregnancy chart. And just because you do have a temp dip, it's doesn't necessarily mean you're KU. I have a HUGE dip every cycle and it drives me batty with false hope.
Month/Cycle: 6/6

R/R: three of my college besties and I are reuniting this Saturday and I can't wait!!! One lives in Mississippi, one in Texas and one in Miami so it's safe to say we rarely have an opportunity to all get together.
CS/Q: Nope. I've been a mouth breather and I've become cynical so I'm not stressing my chart in the TWW.
GTKY: Do you have a dream car that you want to own? What is it? The impractical side of me says a Corvette. Ever since I was little I've said I wanted one. The practical side of me says a fully loaded white Jeep Laredo. I just got one of the new Ford Eacapes though and I really love it so my new car lust is satiated for the moment.
@shstephenson assuming you mean a Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo, read my response to slavenski above about them. We have the Overland model but they are the same on space.

CS/Q: I had some symptoms this weekend that I'm trying to be logical about. I guess it could be those good early symptoms that I want, or it could be that I'm getting AF at the end of the week. There has been some minor lower cramping, some boob soreness, some back soreness, some very light nausea, and I was for sure moody the last two days, for no real reason. And I swear I saw just the lightest spot of a little blood after wiping when I peed yesterday afternoon. Really going to wait it out until Friday to test. It will be 12 dpo and 12 is my lucky number, so I'm fairly confident I can wait until then. Will keep all posted!
GTKY: Do you have a dream car that you want to own? What is it? sure i'll take a hunter green Range Rover SUV if someone is giving them out.

@bumpybump I must have been typing my post when you posted. But I did go back and read it. Thanks for the input! Now I'm kicking myself for not thinking of bringing a car seat when we purchased the Escape. That's a really great idea!!
@osucma you don't have to have a temp dip to be KU but by the same token, a temp dip doesn't necessarily mean you are KU. @bumpybump I couldn't handle a husband that didn't discuss things with me, especially major life decisions like that! I dont know how your MIL handles FIL not discussing things! I have irregular cycles, but my temps are consistent as far as in the same range. Charts don't always look exactly the same cycle to cycle.. I've never really paid attention to or noticed one side causing higher/lower bbts than the other. @slavenski please come cook me all the foods. Those sound AMAZING. How fun to get some baby snuggles! Enjoy it! The new Odyssey's are awesome! They have so many features and mom-hacks haha. @bramblerose stay strong! You can make it to CD13. Just try to keep yourself busy! I can totally understand wanting to make sure YH is the first to know. And keeping a secret like that would be near impossible for me as well! @KhRun17 I'm sorry for CD1 I will be joining you soon! @bumpybump He does help. Until he started this new job last month, he took DS to school every day. The problem now is he is working out of town and I have to be at work at 6:30, before his school is open. So we've had to find a sitter to take him. We now have mornings covered, but with me being on call, I have to report within an hour of being called and it would take MIL 40 min to get here if she left the second I called and then it's 35 min for me to work, so it's not possible. Unfortunately, they are not flexible with my timing at all. It's just stressful. @shstephenson college bff reunions are the best! I could use one myself! Have fun! How awesome y'all could all get together from across the country! @haylsbayls sorry for impending AF. She's a B*t$h. Also, the lexus SUVs are gorgeous! @peachy13 fx they are early symptoms. I totally get it... it's SO hard not to SS when you are aware of every twinge your body makes.
Hi gang. I took the weekend off from bumping since we were out of town. Looks like there was minimal drama.

R/R: Outside temps suddenly spiked to over 80 degrees today, so that's nice. We'll be back in the 50s by the end of the week though..
CS/Q: Nothing today.
GTKY: Do you have a dream car that you want to own? What is it? I don't ever want to own a car again. I do have some dream bikes, though. Here is one I recently discovered that I really want when we have kids
GTKY: Do you have a dream car that you want to own? What is it?
I dream car would be the car I own now, it’s a Jeep Grand
Cherokee Overland.
@bumpybump The car seat
thing is huge fear of mine with my Jeep. My DH is 6’6” and I’m 5’8”. My SIL had
baby last summer and her and I can make his seat work in my car if we put the seat
on the passenger side (that’s where the “latch” system is anyway on the 2015)
so that’s what DH and I would have to do
and make my DH drive everywhere.
@osucma There is not always an "implantation dip" in pregnancy charts and that dip does not always mean pregnancy. It's actually just an estrogen surge -- there's no evidence that it's for implantation though there is something of a correlation (not 1:1). Like @shstephenson I've had that dip before and sure wasn't PG.
@Bramblerose Hold out! You can do it! We are cheering for your strength against POAS addiction!
Testing: Negative this morning but holding out that it was just too early. My husband wants to keep testing each morning in case I need progesterone.
R/R: Well it's never fun to see a stark white Wondfo But today's temp was my highest yet this cycle, so I've been spending the morning staring at my chart as though if I look hard enough it will look triphasic with just one extra-high temp (today's).
Also, while I am desperately hoping for a BFP this cycle, and for BFPs for all of you ladies who have to TTA after this cycle... I guess one nice thing is that the TTA/Benched thread will be a riot in November.
Plus my husband reminded me that I prefer spending Thanksgiving with his terrible family as drunk as possible. Indeed Thanksgiving would be tough if I both can't drink and can't tell them we're PG. So I guess I have a way to talk myself down in a day or two. (I'm looking for silver linings, no matter how small.)
CS/Q: None now.
GTKY: Do you have a dream car that you want to own? What is it?
Oh man I know nothing about cars and don't want to. We have one car, a Mazda something. I think it would be cool to have a Jeep for offroading but even that I'd only use a couple times per year.
@georgiawife6912 thanks! I don't have a temp dip, mine actually keep rising. @laurad75 sorry for your BFN @britters314 what an interesting bike! I have never seen something like that before. I like it! @kiki75 I love classic cars. They look so much better than today's.
@Mrs_Jp yeah, we have an Overland too (pretty sure all trim packages are the same size inside though). I'm 5'7" and don't like riding in the passenger side much. It's really a PITA for taller people with car seats. I wish the back seats could move back like the Equinox does. We keep DD in the safest spot, the middle, and use the seat belt since there's no latch for the middle. (No big deal) I'm a bit obsessed with car seat safety, especially since I used to work in a product safety role. But you do what works for you

R/R: Lots of work to do today and totally sick. TMI Spent yesterday throwing up at everything. Which of course made even DH go "maybe you are pregnant". Nope, totally not. Now just sick and having to work from home through it. I hate being an adult sometimes.
CS/Q: na
GTKY: Do you have a dream car that you want to own? What is it? Not really. I don't have a car payment now and don't want one.
@adirat sorry for the BFN. But it is still early! When I got on TB this morning I immediately looked to see if you had posted yet. And your DH does make a very valid point about Thanksgiving
@osucma and @shstephenson Aww, thanks ladies. Yeah, he's definitely right about Thanksgiving! It makes up for the fact that now HE is going BSC with symptom-spotting. I had some weird anxiety/shakiness on Saturday, and on Sunday morning, he asked if I was feeling better and immediately said, "I bet it's because you are pregnant!" Not helpful. How can I keep the SS under control with him doing it too???
@britters314 I saw your post about hypothyroid in the IF check-in. I take levoxyl for my hypothyroid. It look me more than a year to get on the right med and dosage for me -- partially because at first I was seeing an incompetent doctor and partially because it takes time to titrate the dose. I started out on the generic levothyroxine, which did nothing for me. (I started out on 25mcg of levothyroxine and actually felt WORSE. At a higher dose it evened out.) I then tried synthroid, which improved my numbers but not my symptoms. When I got on levoxyl, it was like night and day. Within a week I had so much more energy and my eyebrows started growing back. Every symptom resolved other than always feeling cold (which I still have and assume will never go away). For your first appointment, I recommend keeping a log of your symptoms between now and then so you can bring something comprehensive with you to the doctor. My endocrinologist often asked about things I didn't associate with hypothyroid (such as bowel movements) and I wasn't always able to reply. But sure enough, when I got to the right meds, I haven't been constipated since. Happy to chat more if you have questions!
@osucma and @bumpybump Sorry about annoying in laws - how frustrating for both of you. @GeorgiaWife6912 Stupid BFN and long cycles! If AF is around the corner, lots of wine for you! @KhRun17 Sorry for CD1. But yay for wine? Treat yourself today! @britters314 I TOTALLY agree with you on bikes. While we do have cars (we have to for our jobs) if it were up to me I'd only ever be on my bike. I honestly think that researching bike/kid carriers is what finally got DH ready to TTC! @Kiki75 GL with shower planning!! @adirat So sorry for the BFN - Fx that it is just too early. I did the same thing as @shstephenson - checked the Grad thread first thing to see if you had posted! @theweevee Ugh, sorry you are so sick. Hopefully one day of working from home helps knock it out.
Month/Cycle: 2/2
CD/DPO: 29/?
Timing: Good, I think
Testing: BFNs Saturday and this morning. Probably won't test again until Wednesday, unless AF shows sooner.
R/R: Just general frustration with my body post birth control. I know most of you are totally familiar, but it's been super frustrating to go from 28 day cycles, to a 26 day cycle last month and now I'm on CD29 and realized I have no idea when AF is coming. I feel whiny, but I knew you ladies would understand - sorry for the dear diary post! But, my race went really well yesterday - thanks for all the positive vibes!
CS/Q: I've seen a few so I don't know what the general "rule" is, but do most of you count months NTNP in your month/cycle totals? I'm 2/2 for TTC, but would be 2/2 TTC, +1 NTNP if I were to include that. Just not sure!
GTKY: Do you have a dream car that you want to own? What is it? Honestly, I'm perfectly happy with my Subaru Forester (it doesn't hurt that it is almost paid off)! I'm much more likely to be found oogling a new bike set up than a new car.
@GeorgiaWife6912 You disappeared this weekend! I was looking for you in the grad thread and in the June intros haha. Sorry about your long cycle - do you usually have long cycles?
@osucma my MIL is the same! Like we are just sitting around waiting for her to make plans for us
@KhRun17 sorry you are out! I'll be following you soon
@britters314 My neighbor drives her kids around in a very similar bike! Except her bucket part is on the back rather than the front
@adirat FX it was too early and this is your cycle!
Me: 28 | DH: 33 EDD: March 24, 2018 - angel baby at 21 weeks
@BrambleRose I also am trying to time POAS for times where I won't be tempted to spill it to anyone other than MH, mother, sister (all of whom I've decided to tell early on because I can't hide that kind of stuff from them). You can do it! I'm at 12 DPO and still haven't tested yet and I'm so glad and not in a shitty BFN mood even though it probably would be BFN if I did POAS. It's *almost* like life is normal or something.
@GeorgiaWife6912 Sorry for your BFN's Definitely feel you on the frustrating long cycles. The one I'm in right now is, thankfully, shorter but as I've told you before I get the long ones too and besides being incredibly frustrating when TTC they are also super hard to plan around.
@KhRun17 Aw, sorry to see you go. GL on your new cycle!
@shstephenson I feel you on the cynicism. I'm trying to use it to my advantage this cycle to avoid POAS.
@haylsbayls Sorry for the daily BFN torture. Sounds like me last cycle
@adirat Sorry about the BFN. I'm with you on the Thanksgiving thing. I have a family wedding right after Thanksgiving and my one consolation assuming this is not my cycle is it will be A LOT easier to get through it with my buddy, alcohol.
Testing: Staying strong, trying to hold out to Friday or Saturday when AF is due. Honestly, I ducked away from here over the weekend as a prevention tactic from testing too early. And I'm not testing every time I have a glass of wine either (just not going overboard). The "should I test before this or that" was a disaster for me last cycle and I'm in a much better mood avoiding POAS, though it is hard sometimes. I SS'd like crazy last time and was not KU and I don't feel abnormal at all this time. Just preparing for AF and not feeling hopeful. Even put on the dark AF sheets.
R/R: See above.
CS/Q: No, trying not to obsess.
GTKY: Do you have a dream car that you want to own? What is it? MH is obsessed with self-driving cars and he got me interested, I gotta say. Especially the Tesla. We go on a lot of road trips and it would make them so much easier.
@laurad75 sorry for BFN Although... totally jealous of the Britney show. I would love to go! @britters314 we are back in the 90s today (ugh!) but back in the low 70s next week which will (finally) be awesome. That bike is awesome! @adirat I was so hoping I would see a BFP this morning! BUT... 9dpo is SO early still. You're definitely not out! I totally understand about the stark white though... tilting it every which way to *try* to see even an invisible line haha. I have everything crossed for you this cycle. I'm glad you can find a little bit of a silver lining though! Thanksgiving will definitely be more relaxing if you can drink. @bumpybump I am a self proclaimed car seat nazi. I am crazy about car seat safety. But there is so much I can't control about being in the car (other drivers, etc) so I am going to do everything possible to keep DS safe. He's 2.5 and still rear facing much to MH discontent. @theweevee sorry for the bfn I hope you feel better soon! @RunRestRepeat Boo for a BFN and for not knowing what's going on. That's the worst feeling! Hopefully your cycles get back to "normal" soon! I think most people count NTNP as ttc since you are not TTA. @haylsbayls sorry! We had a crazy busy weekend and I honestly didn't pick up my phone much. I wish it was because of a BFP, but sadly, no. haha. My cycles are super irregular. Typically between 31-45 days. This has definitely been my longest ever though.
@adirat Thanks for the response! I'm planning to send you a PM when I get more time.
For everyone who liked the bike I posted, I wanted to share another one by the same company. This one is a bike that converts into a stroller. It blew my mind when I found it (sorry about the large pic size).
**Can't function with technology today, this is the post that accompanies the big obnoxious chart, so sorry everyone
@KhRun17 sorry for CD1, treat yourself @GeorgiaWife6912 sorry to hear that it seems as if CD1 is coming @adirat FX for you that it was too early and I am going to steal that mentality for Thanksgiving. DH and I are having his family over and it would be 10000000000000x better if I can have some liquid happiness. Also, woud you mind another chart stalk? I believe this time through is more evidence I O'd earlier than FF says and my coverline is high. @bumpybump If you get any more information on different temperatures I would be really interested in hearing! I am only on my second cycle of temping but looking at the charts they look as if they are two different people. Last mongth pre-O temps were 96.7-97.1 and post O hovered around 97.8. This time through is totally different!
Month/Cycle: 4/4
CD/DPO: 22/6
Timing: -2, -1
Testing: next Saturday for drinking purposes- not hopeful
R/R: Monday, ugh have a super busy week and just have to power through
CS/Q: if anyone would like to chart stalk I would love some input. As it stands with today's drop I am thinking I O'd on CD13 and should have a lower coverline. There are some confounding variables... Got my flu shot CD12 and had a mild fever during the day on CD13 (99). DH had a flu/strep throat situation for CD10-CD17 so that was horrible sleep next to a snoring furnace. Last month's coverline was 97.2. Of course I know it doesn't make a difference, just trying to get better at interpretation!

@WillRunForWine21 Just based on temps, CD 13 makes the most sense, but it doesn't match up with any of your other signs, so I'm skeptical. You'll probably just have to wait it out and see. If you get 2 more temps below your current coverline, FF will probably move your CH to CD 13.

Grrr!

I'm not hugely into cars, but I'd love one of the "less expensive" Teslas that are coming out soon. I would never want the high end model because I'd be so paranoid but the more affordable ones to come seem amazing.

I'm about to be done with The Bump today!

also how wonderful of you to help out your neighbor.

@osucma no, implantation dips are not apparent on every pregnancy chart. And just because you do have a temp dip, it's doesn't necessarily mean you're KU. I have a HUGE dip every cycle and it drives me batty with false hope.

@KhRun17 I'm sorry for CD1

GTKY: Do you have a dream car that you want to own? What is it?
I dream car would be the car I own now, it’s a Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland.
@bumpybump The car seat thing is huge fear of mine with my Jeep. My DH is 6’6” and I’m 5’8”. My SIL had baby last summer and her and I can make his seat work in my car if we put the seat on the passenger side (that’s where the “latch” system is anyway on the 2015) so that’s what DH and I would have to do and make my DH drive everywhere.
@Georgiawife6912 Hugs. That stinks.
GTKY: Do you have a dream car that you want to own? What is it?
@georgiawife6912 thanks! I don't have a temp dip, mine actually keep rising.
@laurad75 sorry for your BFN
@britters314 what an interesting bike! I have never seen something like that before. I like it!
@kiki75 I love classic cars. They look so much better than today's.

@Kiki75 GL with shower planning!!
@adirat So sorry for the BFN - Fx that it is just too early. I did the same thing as @shstephenson - checked the Grad thread first thing to see if you had posted!
@theweevee Ugh, sorry you are so sick. Hopefully one day of working from home helps knock it out.
GTKY: Do you have a dream car that you want to own? What is it? Honestly, I'm perfectly happy with my Subaru Forester (it doesn't hurt that it is almost paid off)! I'm much more likely to be found oogling a new bike set up than a new car.

Sorry for your BFN, @theweevee.

GTKY: Do you have a dream car that you want to own? What is it? MH is obsessed with self-driving cars and he got me interested, I gotta say. Especially the Tesla. We go on a lot of road trips and it would make them so much easier.
edited because math is hard
I have a secondary question if someone can answer it...
what the heck is a triphasic pattern. I read what FF defined but how do you identify it on your own chart?
@theweevee sorry for the bfn

@adirat FX for you that it was too early and I am going to steal that mentality for Thanksgiving.
