Ah, 12DPO and a BFN from fmu. Most likely out this month, but of course I just have to cling to that hope and disappoint myself in a few days
  • Cycle buddies! I'm finally here!! @szwill86, @chloe97 where are you guys at DPO wise?? I took so darn long I think I fell way behind  :|

  • @soontobemommahowe hey girl! I'm all the way at 10 dpo today. I'm planning on going by my temps instead of POAS since I usually have a temp drop 11/12 dpo if I'm not KU.

@chloe97 I thought of you last night when I was out to eat bc the bar had on the game. :) good luck not going crazy symptom spotting and holding out to test till Thursday!
  • @szwill86 already 10dpo?!? You are way ahead of me! FX for no temp drop the next cpl days! I'm only temping the next two days and then stopping. It drives me crazy, I wake up every three hours because I'm anxious and I over analyze EVERY temp. I figure after confirming O there's nothing I can do so I might as well not get worked up over it.

@chloe97...do you want symptoms this cycle or no due to late O? If you want them then YAY for midnight bathroom runs  :D

  • @SoonToBeMommaHowe I go back and forth. Part of me believes that things can be ok if I'm pregnant, and the other part of me would be ok with a BFN. Trying my best to relax this Sunday.

How many DPO are you? 3??
  • @SoonToBeMommaHowe I know! FF put my O day as my one positive OPK day on CD 15, that's why I'm so far ahead. I hear ya on being anxious and waking up every few hrs therefore screwing up temping. I don't think I'd be able to NOT temp!
  • I have a question for you ladies. This is my first cycle post-loss and today at 10 DPO, my temp dropped below the cover line and I'm waiting for AF to show. I've only temped for 2 previous cycles, and had a 12 day LP in the first (that I didn't get a BFP). I have a feeling it's probably common to have a different LP length after a loss but wanted to see what you ladies thought/have experienced.

  • @hartmich my LP length has stayed the same between 11-12 days after my loss which was the same pre-loss. The only thing that's changed for me is that I'm ovulating earlier post loss as compared to pre-loss. I know that it can take a while for your body to regulate after a loss, so I'd keep temping to keep tabs on it.
  • @chloe97 I'm not really sure. Of course I stop doing OPKs during a cycle where O is not obvious. FF is currently saying I'm 5dpo but I felt a ton of O pain/cramping on Friday so I think I'm only 1-2dpo. Any thoughts? I'd appreciate any input...
Our timing would be a little better if it was cd20 but either one would be ok.

@chloe97 I'm glad to see you'll have peace with either result. If you're ok with either I'm rooting for a bfp for you!

@szwill86 doesn't the waking up constantly drive you bananas?! I'm just hoping I sleep better during the TWW if I don't temp

  • @soontobemommahowe I would say probably CD 19 based on CM alone. Your chart looks a lot like mine this month!
  • @soontobemommahowe I'd put O at CD21 for you. FF isn't sure about your O date (hence the dashed lines), so I bet once you have a few more high temps, FF will move your O date. Either way I think you have great timing!

@hartmich I've definitely seen some ladies with short LPs after loss. I even remember a grad or two that had this issue in their cycles after loss. In any case, it's normal for LPs to vary by a day or two. They just don't vary by nearly as much as follicular phases.
  • Welp, I couldn't control myself and had to test this morning because I had a temp drop on 11 DPO of my usual 11/12 day LP. Got a BFN as expected. Sigh. FX that others have better luck than I did! @chloe97 @soontobemommahowe
  • @riversong15 Thanks!

@szwill86 Thanks for the response, and sorry about that BFN.

  • Sorry about the BFN @szwill86 <3

Can I get a chart stalk?  My temps for last week were pretty unreliable, but I'm more apt to believe CD 19 then CD 16 based on CM alone. The OPK on Cd was very dark. I had an almost positive OPK on CD17. But pretty strong o pains CD16-19 What do you guys think?
  • @chloe97 I'm definitely no chatting expert but I would agree with cd19. What happens if you take out the +OPK? Does FF move it to cd19?

  • @chloe97 I agree with FF on CD17. It's the day after a positive OPK, and your temp jumped the day after. Your temps look like a fallback-rise pattern to me. As far as CM goes, I've gotten some EWCM in my LP before, so although CM *should* dry up, it doesn't always dry up completely. In general, secondary signs, like CM and O pains, can help give you a broader picture, but they shouldn't be used to completely override your temping. And your chart seems to show a pretty consistent pattern, so I'd go with the temps and the OPKs.
  • Aaaand I'm back to CD1. Oh well. I'm trying to take comfort that both this cycle and the previous one have been heavier than the previous 3 months, so maybe that means my lining is getting back to normal.

FX for those of you waiting to test! Here's to more October BFPs!
  • @lin0442 - sorry for CD1.... take care of yourself today

  • @chloe97 - and therein lies the worst part for type A peeps about TTC - not being comfortable not knowing what is going on...

  • @lin0442 I'm so sorry for CD 1. Hugs  <3
  • Congrats @BitterBetty12 and @DungeonTrollMel! I'm really happy for both of you.

I think this is 4DPO for me. Thanks to physician call schedules and other things which get me up in the middle of the night or the wee early morning hours I've never had a TTC period where I thought temping would be reliable. So OPKs it is...and based on that this should be either 4 or 5 DPO.

Good Luck to everyone else who is waiting and hoping!
  • 1 DPO and my HUSBAND is symptom spotting.
I have awful awful heartburn that started last night - I think from my anti-anxiety meds. My husband is convinced its because I'm pregnant. i tried to explain that is not possible but he is insistent. lol.

  • Last night I had a dream that I had a BFP and I couldn't get to my phone to post on TB. True story. Ha! Nice to know y'all aren't in my subconscious!

I'd take it as a good sign, but all my SS went away today. Boobs feel fine, slept through the night without getting up to pee. I've had a dream I was pregnant 3 times in the TWW and none of those times I was actually pregnant. Had a nice temp spike today, but that's probably cuz I slept til 6:30 today, which is unheard of for me!
  • @chloe97 I hate those dreams! But FX it's a good sign for you!

I've been following this discussion since it gives me hope and fills my heart to read about BFPs especially after a loss. I'm benched waiting for AF after D&C, but I'm hoping to actively join you in the TTC journey next month.

@chloe97 I hope your temp keeps increasing!

@RiverSong15, you were right on the cd21 O. Now that I've gotten a few more temps in I have solid, not dotted, CHs on that day. Not sure why it was delayed, I'm think maybe bc I fell off the working out ban wagon...who knows. We do have great timing but hopefully the late O doesn't = bad egg!
