Trying to Get Pregnant

Re: TWW Friday 10/14

  • @adirat I. cant. stop. watching. your gif! haha.  I am crossing everything SO hard that this is your cycle!

My question was completely just an honest question.  I've seen a few "early" posts but most of them seem to be people that have been around for a while so I just wondered if there was an unspoken rule out there somewhere that I missed and I never ever want to unintentionally hurt someone! Thanks for all of the honest answers! They all make complete sense!

CS/Q: Well the BSC has started early... last night (at 5dpo) I had a huge rush of EWCM and a tiny bit of bright red spotting. My first thought was "f--- my LP is getting even shorter" but then my second thought was "This must be implantation spotting!!!11!" I have seesawed between these two crazy thoughts constantly since then, even though today (6dpo) I have neither thing and surely last night was a weird fluke.

This exact thing happened to me at 5 or 6 DPO! Although not as much EWCM for me (but I'm not a very mucus-y person in general), and my spotting was pink. I had the short LP freak out too, but I've had nothing aside from typical sticky CM ever since the spotting. I'm even BSC enough to have stopped drinking after I saw it. FX so hard for you. I'm being irrational and holding out hope for myself even after two BFNs on CD 9 and 10.
  • @lund 9 and 10 dpo is still early!!

... although I'm still holding out hope for my 10dpo bfn myself..

  • @adirate your gif game is so strong. I love it.
  • @LuND lol um yeah I also didn't drink during last night's football game because of that ewcm and spotting. The bsc is real.

  • @adirat DH and I have been discussing it a lot lately. I think we will do treatments again. The down side is this time it will be completely out of pocket. We just replaced all the windows in our house and I love them but I also think "that could have paid for treatments to make a baby". I think we just have to sit down with the budget and see if we can make it happen this year or if we have to wait till January.

  • @wabash15 Hugs. It's a tough decision and made so hard if you don't have any coverage. If you have to wait 'til January I'll cross my fingers you get your surprise bfp before then :)

    @adirat FX for you!

@GeorgiaWife6912 I'm so glad you asked that because I wondered it myself when a poster who I chatted with in the Newbie thread and TWW my first month on here a few times disappeared --I tracked her down to a BMB and felt bad because I never congratulated her, but I guess she probably just didn't feel right posting in the grad thread after only being on here a few weeks.

@RunRestRepeat Me too! Lived alone for almost a year in college and never thought twice about it and living with a boy has completely skewed it all. Now when he leaves for work for a couple nights I'm checking the locks 5 times per night minimum.

    Month/Cycle: 4/4

    CD/DPO: 19/3

Timing: -2, -1 (darn you flu and strep throat....)

Testing: next friday/saturday (9/10dpo for drinking purposes

R/R: it was a crazy FW with DH so sick but this week I had some really nice work  moments with kiddos reaching goals and tomorrow I have carved out for fall closet and life purge to prep for hosting our first ever Thanksgiving FRIDAYYYYYYYYYYY happy hour starts soon as well.

CS/Q: Yes please! ( @adirat I know you said you like to!)
sorry if the chart is huge I prefer to do it from my phone as opposed to work computer. The top chart is last month and the bottom is this month. I feel like an argument could be made for O on CD14 with a lower coverline? especially when compared to the September pattern. This is all purely educational- what is done is done obviously. I dont get EWCM really I tend to go creamy to wet so I dont even have that for help

GTKY: What is your biggest fear?  Any irrational fears? I have dreams that I am in a war 1-2 times a week. I am a civilian, a soldier, etc etc. all different time periods. I never have experienced war time and this makes no sense

Eta: it is wise when asking g for a CS to attach the chart.

DH SA: 11/16: low count and low motility
DH SA: 12/16: borderline low, count and motility
    1/20/17: BFP, 1/24/17: CP
    5/17:low AMH (0.89)
6/17: first IUI cycle, 50 mg clomid + ovidrel + IUI: 2 follies, BFN (count 58 million, 97% motility)
7/17: second IUI, 2.5 letrozole, OPK, IUI: 1 follie, BFN (count 9.5 million swimming- dont know percentage)
    8/17: third IUI, 5.0 letrozole,

  • @WillRunForWine21 Given your past chart, I think a cd13 O is likelier than what FF gave you. Have you temped previous cycles? If your cover line is always that much lower than you got this month, I would say more strongly that you likely had cd13. I understand why you got a later O on here (CM) but you're right that your fertile cm continues after O on your previous chart. (I also get ewcm after O so it isn't as reliable for me either.)

  • @kiki75 Thank you! I was planning on changing my temping if this month doesn't pan out
  • @WillRunForWine21 I'm with @adirat  you could make an argument for a CD 13O and that FF gave you your CH where they are because of the CM. I wonder if you take that out if it changes your O date... also your temps are hugging your coverline now, and if they continue to go up then your current O date may be accurate.

Speaking of the TTGP Grad thread, when is it appropriate to post in it? Obviously this doesn't apply to me as I got a BFN haha, but just curious when you are considered "a regular" and it won't be frowned on to post your BFP?

I am curious about this. I asked before but never got an answer. The consensus I got when I asked was that no one really wanted to answer the question to not make anyone upset. Also just that if you are regularly posting and actually interacting with others that certainly helped.

No completely honest answer would have made me upset.

If you participate in the WTO and TWW then people will recognize you and feel happy for you. It was worded that way to prevent literal drive bys from posting "omg I don't know any of you but I wanted to say I'm totes KU on accident on birth control! Bye!"

  • Month/Cycle: 1/1

    CD/DPO: 20/1

    Timing: -5, 0

Testing: planning to test on the 27th.

CS/Q: I actually don't chart... my little one still nurses at night so my sleep is broken. But I do pay attention to CM

GTKY: What is your biggest fear?  Any irrational fears?
Like several posters above: that something bad will happen to my daughter.

Irrational fear: similar to a few of you guys- but I think being scared of burglars is probably a healthy fear. Mine is monsters in the dark- I hate going outside at night or walking in a dark room- I feel eyes on me, and it's probably the gaze of something super creepy...

@sugargirl1019 I had this fear last time I was ttc. I have a physical job (required to lift 100#) and can't just go to the bathroom whenever. I ended up working till 8 days overdue- it was a null issue in the end. But everything is different for everybody. I'd say it is a rational fear. But hopefully one that will prove to be unfounded or at least manageable when the time comes.
  • @LuND Thanks! We're only a few hours in, but so far it's been great! I think we both really needed it.  Btw, I fully support the bottle of wine and long straw, if necessary, that sounds like a fabulous idea!

@GeorgiaWife6912. Haha, I'll tell him! And you're right, it's a harder hit because I'm down enough on myself when AF rolls around month after month, I need him to be the optimist!

@osucma I'm sorry to hear that it seems like the house won't work out, I know how frustrating that can be and it's been such a roller coaster for you!  To answer your question, I temp vaginally because I feel like it gives me more consistent temps. I wipe my thermometer off after every use and usually bring it into the bathroom with me to rinse off, but I'm sure there are mornings I've forgotten.

@JuneRoseRuby Haha, I've never tried to let H make a bed alone....probably because it would end exactly like that!

@CallaLily25 I'm glad to hear your mom's surgery went well! It must be such a relief to have it over with.

@hartmich I am so sorry for your loss, and I completely agree with what @wabash15 had to say.  You are grieving and that is okay. Hugs.

@RunRestRepeat Good luck with your race this weekend!!

@kiki75 Yeah, I've recently had to self-enforce a ban on criminal minds and other associated shows when H isn't around as well. My imagination is bad enough, it doesn't need help creating scary situations!

  • @adirat thanks! Am I lame if I admit that I kinda teared up a little reading your response? my fingers are crossed for you too!

  • @LuND I do that too!  Even in the heat with no air conditioning.

@GeorgiaWife6912 oh my gosh!  I hope everything was ok.  That would scare me so much!
  • @manillabar If you are a mess we can be messes together!

  • Month/Cycle: 1/1

    CD/DPO: 26/10 (or 11)

    Timing: Excellent

    Testing: Still waiting

R/R: Could go either way: running has been frustrating the past 2-3 days. This year I've been training hard for triathlons and ended up with a lot of PRs, and even qualified for nationals a few weeks ago. I've been struggling to maintain a pace that would normally be really easy. If that's because I'm pregnant, awesome- otherwise, it's a bummer.

    CS/Q:

GTKY: What is your biggest fear?  Any irrational fears? Heights. It's weird; I love flying and wasn't scared to go skydiving, but I become white-knuckled and clammy near ledges when hiking and rock climbing.

  • I'm mobile bumping so it's hard to tag everyone, but thank you all for your sweet words! I do feel like I've connected to many of you so even though a bfp is disappointing, at least I get to hang out with y'all a little longer! :)

@manillabar I am so sorry! Fx so hard this is your cycle and all of the worry will be a non issue! I hate that you are having such a rough day. *creepy internet hugs*
@Njtrimed hopefully a bfp is the reason for your pace change! I'm sorry it's been so frustrating lately.
@theweevee we had a ton of damage and lost all of the electrinics, jewelry, and guns in the house, but me and MH and my dog were ok so in the end thats all that matters. We did lose a ton of sentimental stuff that we can never get back which really stinks, especially since some of it was jewelry from my mom who died last year.

  • @manillabar I got you! This is for all of you wonderful ladies:

  • @manillabar we will also have toTTA after this cycle and I'm having so many mixed feelings about it.  Can I cry/be angry/be a general mess with you and @adirat? My best friend is getting married next August and I cannot miss it, but she's halfway across the country. As much as it kills me to tta, I know that I would feel horrible if I missed her wedding.
  • @zwink1 Yes, you are very much welcome. I know how hard a decision that must have been so your mixed feelings are completely valid. FWIW I would do what you are doing and TTA for the wedding, too. (My dad's 60th birthday/family reunion is in August 2016, so I'd be TTA for a month or two around that even if we weren't moving.) Even when you know you are making the "right" decision, it still stinks big time. Hugs.

    I found this for us:

  • @adirat perfect gif!

@manillabar it can be so hard to figure out what part of life to put on hold or have to put a dream on the back burner. Hugs!
