2nd ultrasound at 8 weeks! Heartbeat was 167. Doctor said everything looks good and that my next ultrasound will be at week 20 unless I decide to do the 1st or 2nd trimester screening tests.
I don't have an ultrasound picture to post yet, but I did get to see my little one today! I was having a really crappy birthday. My kidney hurt so bad that I could not even stand to shower. My doctor fit me in and sent me over to VCU/MCV hospital for an ultrasound because they thought I had kidney stones. I didn't even think that I'd see the baby and didn't have DH with me. I wasn't looking at the screen and the tech says, "Oh! Look! There's your baby!" Then she showed me the fluttering heart. So it turns out that kidney stones on your birthday are worth it
First u/s today!! What an amazingly unbelievable experience! Measured at 7w3d with a HB of 158! I didn't get this far last time and there were definitely tears of joy in that room today!!
I didn't know where else to put this without creating my own AW thread so I'm putting it here. Just got a call from my OB with results from my NIPT. Results were all negative (which is good) and we are having a little boy!!! So over the moon from the good results!

Congrats! I'm happy to hear the results were negative. It may be that time to start the sex thread. Check out april, I like they have the poll format too

We got to see our little bean today. They bumped up my due date a couple of days so I'm joining the 5/19 ladies and Friday ticker change. They noticed a few cysts on my ovaries so we'll get another u/s in a few weeks
@vrj0522 maybe that test needs its own thread as well. People are going to want to ask questions and talk about it as well. I opted out as my office doesn't give us the sex results but I feel others will want to commiserate on that test?
Baby B! Measured a little behind at 7wks 3 days as opposed to 8wks 3 days (which is funny since I know conception is no later than 6 weeks ago!..Sept 1), but strong heart beat of 145 and all looks good. Looking at a Memorial Day (5/29) Due date.
Here's our little gummy bear from a couple of weeks ago. Measured at 8w3d (spot on!) and a heart rate of 169. I never thought I'd feel so much love for such a tiny little blob.
I'm starting week 8 all over again. LO measured 7w4d at my appointment last week. Just relieved to see the heartbeat. Starting to feel like this is real.

Got to see baby on Friday. Measured 3 days early 8+6 instead of 8+3, but they are keeping the due date of May 23rd. So happy to find out baby is in there and doing well.

2nd ultrasound at 7w3d. Baby measured 1 day ahead and had a heartbeat of 152!
