Trigger: Bleeding

Last night I wiped and there was streaky red blood. I woke up and it had stopped but quickly picked up again after a few minutes. I went to my doc (by then it was getting heavier but still like a light period) and he said only an ultrasound would be able to tell us anything but they can't get me in for one until tomorrow morning. I'm still bleeding but it's still light so I don't know what to think. I've never bled other than during my miscarriages so I'm not super hopeful. T&Ps that the ultrasound tomrorow shows a healthy little gummy bear with a heartbeat would be great, I'm just counting down the minutes until bed time. Thank goodness I have the BEST 8 year old in the world who is keeping her brother and sister entertained so I can rest.

Maybe it's just a SCH. I'm sorry you are going through this. Please let us know when you have the US. I'm glad your 8 year old is being such a help for you. I will be praying for you!! Creepy internet hugs!

I'm so sorry you're going through this- I know it's scary, and the waiting surely doesn't help. There are certainly many other causes besides MC- I spotted on and off with my son, and other than that, the pregnancy was uneventful. Fingers crossed so hard for you!

If it's not too heavy then there's a good chance it's a SCH. T&P for your appointment tomorrow. (btw this has been me the entire pregnancy so far, I have found it beyond nerve-wracking, especially before the ultrasound)

Sorry you're going through this. Last week (8w5d) I went to the bathroom and my underwear were stained, naturally I freaked out. Every time I'd wipe there'd be blood. When I woke in the morning there was still blood, like a light period for me. I did get into the doctor the following mid-day. They did an US and everything was perfectly fine. They reassured me that bleeding at this point can still be very normal. By that evening it became more brownish and went away within a cpl days. I know it's hard to not freak, but just know that it can also mean nothing. Hoping this is the case for you.
