Sandy was rough for my family in CT and all the snow storms we had in Boston in 2015. That was insane.

GTKY: With all the talk about hurricane Matthew, what is the worst storm (tornado, snow, etc) that you have weathered? I'm from Scotland, so we haven't had too many really bad ones. I remember a really bad rain / wind storm when I was a kid that my mum thought it would be awesome to walk in, so we both wrapped up well and headed out. We got about 15 minutes away when she realized that it probably wasn't the safest thing to do with a kid, so we went home, dried off and snuggled in the window with hot chocolate. I still love getting all my wet weather gear on and wandering about
@lulu180 and @deadasthatsquirrel thanks! that makes sense. I didn't try putting in EWCM closer to O. I understand why FF is confusing itself.....the EWCM situation confused me this cycle too! I was fearing that O would be out another week because I sometimes have early EWCM about a week before O, but it's usually way earlier than that.... :S

Late to the party; today has been craaaaazy busy at work. TGIF!
Month/Cycle: 3/3
CD/DPO: 30/9
Timing: -3, -1, O, +1
Testing: Maybe Monday?
R/R: DH and I are headed to my parent's place this weekend and it's actually supposed to be sunny there so YAY! (FYI: where they live gets 30 days of sun annually, so it's sort of a big deal). My temp went up this morning nearly back to 98.0, but I'm suspicious since it was pretty warm in our room last night, which also makes me toss and turn. Likely not the most reliable temp I've ever had.
CS/Q: Not today
GTKY: With all the talk about hurricane Matthew, what is the worst storm (tornado, snow, etc) that you have weathered? My parent's house gets flooded a lot (see above for a taste of their weather) but in 2012 (I think it was?) it was awful. My dad only evacuated the house when the water level was up to his hips and took the two beagles with him (the ducks were left to fend for themselves) .Fortunately, my mom and the two youngest siblings were out of town for the ordeal, but DH and I ran down there to help dad out just in case. Everything was a freaking mess, drenched in water. You had to park on the highway and hike in before it got too bad. I remember having salmon swimming next to me in the driveway. On the bright side, the driveway got re-graveled for free when it was all said and done. Thanks nature!
Testing: I'm a freak so everyday starting Saturday with wondfos
R/R: Zika tst came back negative! Now I wish we had tried harder instead of worrying but I'm just happy to not have it! And it's Friday!
CS/Q:
GTKY: With all the talk about hurricane Matthew, what is the worst storm (tornado, snow, etc) that you have weathered? Hmm nothing terrible. We decided to ride out a hurricane when we were on vacation in the Cayman Islands while the rest of the island evacuated. I think we made the right call though because we lost power for about 12 hours and then it was sunny and we had all the beaches to ourselves! Other than that - just a lot of blizzards while in college in CT. But these usually involved no classes and lots of wine so we looked forward to them

@maebee87 FOUR dinners?! Wow! Pace yourself lol I'm 8dpo, too, and trying to wait till Monday tho I partly wish I could wait longer and simultaneously want to test sooner lol
Sorry @eggplantface but glad you have a plan moving forward
@lulu1180 I don't even want to admit it but I was trying to see if my nipples were darker lol
@JackieMarie1989 I love ham, too! We're actually doing ham & duck this year I've never cooked duck, so I'll see how it goes...
@vflux33 ughhh that's the worst about your cod liver oil pills BLECH! What are you taking it for? If you're taking it as an omega supplement there are SUCH better options than cod liver oil, but I assume you'll get something different next time lol I would also suffer through it because of the price lol
@mrlight you're welcome and thank you for saying that
@rainbowturtles I'm taking it for omega, yeah, but it also has A and D in it and some nutritionist folks call it a TTC superfood. But I'm also taking a PNV and eat fish and think I'm probably going overboard. But yeah now that I have it I'm forcing it down because of the price. Expensive mistakes are the worst! It's actually LIQUID not pills, which makes it so much grosser. I wish it was capsules --that would not be as bad. I take liquid PNVs and other vitamins if available because supposedly they absorb better but for this it was such a bad move. I'm allowing myself to take it every other day just to temper the grossness.
@vflux33 fwiw, I really like this brand https://www.ascentahealth.com/product-info/nutrasea/ I get the liquid and next time I'm getting the liquid that has vitamin D added. They have different flavours and do not taste like fish oil. I don't even mix it with anything, just take a teaspoon and down it. I also keep it in the fridge. Might be something to try for next time GL in the meantime lol
Thanks for the recommendation @rainbowturtles! When I get through this never ending bottle of terror in my fridge I will try ascentahealth for sure. Looks like the Whole Foods next town over has it. I don't normally go there, but it's not far/totally manageable. Ugh part of me wants to *accidentally-on-purpose* lose or break the bottle and buy the one you're recommending now and if it had been cheaper I totally would. Bookmarking it now
