My BF is that we're at the ER with DS who needs stitches on his sweet baby face . I'm not sure if I'm having referred anxiety but I feel lightheaded, dizzy and overall like shit waiting for all this to happen.
I'm late to the BF today. But I was 7 months pregnant with DD2 when 4yr old DD1 slammed the door on her finger- and then pulled it out. She pretty much ripped the tip of her finger off. We went to the emergency room and I felt the same: dizzy, lightheaded, and like I was about to pass out. I do think it's anxiety, but sit down and drink some water. Don't be scared to ask for a chair! People understand. And I'm sorry I hope he is ok! Hugs*
My BF is Dh's job. He got word Friday that he had to go to Mexico this week. I'm not happy at all. I have never had so much anexity about him traveling before. Even when he was on a ship or Japan for 6 months it didn't bother me. Now I'm like a stress bucket over this. It doesn't help that they've told him to stay in the US and WALK across the border every day. Ugh. Add to that my fear of him getting him Zika.
Hugs to everyone who needs them.

@ErikandAfton depending on what city is bordering the Mexican port of entry your husband has to use, walking could be way way easier and faster. I live along the border and have walked it numerous times. The car lines are always super long.
My BF is my DH's job. He's the pastor of a medium-sized church and the people in his congregation are being such jerks. He's planning to take 4 weeks paternity leave when our little one is born, (He is entitled to up to 8 weeks paid leave with the birth of a child.) and they're giving him crap about it. I just want to yell at all of them. Pastors make little money, work terrible hours and get very few benefits. No one should be giving him shit for taking advantage of one of the few he gets and spending time with his family. I'm not a very sweet pastor's wife these days!
What?!?! Um, isn't one of the biggest things they teach in church to be nice to your family and neighbors and be supportive of community members? He is entitled to his paternity leave.
@dmontgo I cannot believe that those two people did that to you. I've never even heard of anything like that. Are you in some sort of alternate reality?
@Kate08Young again, what is wrong with people? That nurse was not doing her job. I hope you are ok, keep that baby in there!!!
I was really surprised when I initially saw how BFs there were, but damn!!! Is there something in the air? You all have legitimate BFs, it makes mine seem all pretty minor and petty. So I'll just save em. Hugs * to everyone! And here is a little something to make you feel better:
My BF: I was in the hospital yesterday for more IV fluids after not keeping anything down since Thursday. My OB changed up my meds; she is making me stop taking Nexium and is starting me on 20 mg Pepcid 2x a day and Reglan 30 min before each meal and at bedtime. The scopolamine patch, phenergan, and zofran are staying the same but she did double my zofran dose from 4mg to 8mg. So I started that whole regimen today. Did really well all day but in the last 3 hours I've thrown up 5x. I realize that I still have to take some time to adjust to the new medicine and the new schedule but I seriously hate throwing up.
I want a referral to a GI specialist who may have an idea of what's going on/how to fix it but I also only have 8 weeks left and baby boy is growing exactly like he should, so I don't know if my OB will consider my situation severe enough to make the referral. It's not that I don't trust her or think that she's doing everything she can for me, I truly do believe she's doing everything she knows to do to help me. I just think an actual GI specialist may have more experience in treating this kind of thing. I don't even know if what I have is HG because I was told HG generally clears up by 20 weeks. It could be an underlying issue that the pregnancy is just making worse, and I think a GI doctor will be able to rule anything like that out.
We are doing alright, and called the OB this morning to verify everything and see if he wanted to move our app up. He said unless its worse or any of the 'regular' get in here now - things to just relax and nap as much as possible.

@ashleaf2018 I would ask for the referral. It can't hurt to see a specialist and, if you're afraid of offending your OB, just say what you said here "you want to rule out any underlying condition that pregnancy may be making worse." Fingers crossed everything clears up when you deliver...but if it is something more serious/long term, than you'd want to know that ASAP so you can be prepared. *hugs*
