@littlebug2010 This is Us last night was sooooo good! I won't spoil anything, but squee. I am not a tv watcher by any stretch, and I seriously can't wait for next week!
Testing: Tonight
- before our wedding anniversary tomorrow on the off chances its good news.
That and I don’t want to test on our actual anniversary and be bummed out if it
negative.
R/R: RANT! We are getting family pictures this weekend and
our kitten, who has been a little cat from hell, scratched our toddlers face in
the middle of the night. Which means 1) she has been getting in his crib which
I wasn’t aware of and 2) either this better heal quickly or our photographer
better have some photoshop up her sleeve.
CS/Q: Nope
GTKY: How would you describe your (clothing) style? Casual
and slightly granola living in Colorado – I work as a sustainable design consultant
in the commercial building industry so depending on the day I am wearing
business casual to meet with architects or jeans, a highlighter orange vest,
and a hard hat to go onsite. I am also really tall (5’11”) so half the battle
is trying to find things that fit correctly.
@delujm0 I have been looking at Trunk Club- glad to hear
some positive things about it
shstephenson
you are completely allowed to be a Debbie Downer whenever you feel like it. Completely justified. Also, high five to your
husband and the mop! Ugh just got to your second post, so sorry L
@berg AMEN to planning a vacation! Also love your GTKY
@eggplantface oh man theres is a cashier at my grocery store
that ALWAYS comments on my purchases so I avoid his lane. When I was
breastfeeding I remember having to buy nipple cream and thinking – there is no
way in hell I am checking out with him hahaha!
@spk112 you shop where I shop J
Wish you could be my mall buddy
@bumpybump how did I not figure out Loft had maternity
clothes with DS? – noted for this go around.
@spk112 I can see an argument for an O day one day later than FF predicted. You have some open circles too. Your chart does look good though so FX for you!
@saralee797, Thank you! I'm a shift worker, so unfortunately it's impossible for me to get my temperature at the same time every day. I was on nights the week before I ovulated, hence the open circles. At that point, I was just trying to temp after I got a solid amount of sleep.
@lmc929, Hi, mall buddy . I'm tall, too (5'10"). I completely understand the struggle that comes with making sure that clothes fit properly, especially pants. My legs are super long.
R/R: Temp drop today, but still above coverline. Growing impatient in this TWW, but thankfully work is quite busy this week so I have plenty to focus on to get me through.
CS/Q: None
GTKY: How would you describe your (clothing) style? When I'm not in a suit for work, it's pretty preppy/casual. Love love love the LOFT as well, @mamashan12@littlebug2010@bumpybump ! I have a LOFT outlet store nearby and their clearance sales are the best. I took home three work skirts for a total of $10 a few months back.
I'm running late this morning. I'll come back this afternoon to comment!
Month/Cycle: 2/2

R/R: Still having cramps and temp is still down (not below coverline yet). I know AF is coming today, just waiting on her. The good thing about AF starting is that it makes me think about changes I can make. I order B6 vitamins for my short luteal phase (9 days). I also called and got an appointment with a new gyno. This one is the only OBGYN that delivers at the hospital I would want to use and she is a DO instead of MD which I like. She is also really busy so my appointment isn't until the end of November. By then I should be able to know how my luteal phase lengths are going so hopefully she can help if they still suck.
CS/Q: Does anyone know if doctors keep some appts open for newly KU patients? The receptionist told me that they are full until the end of November which makes me wonder what I would've done if I actually was pregnant and needing to be seen. ETA: I know I'm not KU, just wondering what KU people would do
GTKY: How would you describe your (clothing) style? For work: business casual with mostly skinny-type work pants and blouses. For normal life, I guess I could be casual preppy?, I usually wear jeans, Target t-shirts, or blouses with sandals, flats, or boots. Maybe a dress if I'm feeling awake. At home, I'm always in sweats and nasty t-shirts
@Saralee797 no worries! My LPs are incredibly erratic. I began charting on FF before we started actively TTC,and my LPs have ranged from 5 days ( ) to over 20 days.
@jeg07 my experience with my pregnancy was that they get you in once pregnant around 8 weeks (if I'm remembering correctly). That's of course if you are considered a "normal/healthy" patient. So you'd be around the end of November anyway. At my OBGYN office, we could see any doctors during our pregnancy and aren't guaranteed a certain doctor for delivery either. But I always tried to get "my" Doctor.

@shstephenson. So sorry hun (((hugs))) it is definitely depressing and what a real mixed bag of emotions this whole ttc thing is. :/
Also for anyone who's keeping score, sounds like there was an error in DH's test, so they're recommending a retest. FML! Lol. At least it's at no charge but what a pain/rollercoaster...
@jeg07 agree with @bumpybump - my doctor doesn't have you come in until 8 weeks, unless you are high risk. And even if you are high risk, a lot of times you just swing in for beta bloodwork twice and would only see a doctor if it's bad news, otherwise you talk to the nurse on the phone about the results. They do hold appointments for emergencies (bleeding, etc), but you wouldn't necessarily get your own doctor. My office also rotates you during pregnancy appointments - they have one doctor every day that is on office pre-natal appointment duty, so anyone with an appointment that day sees the doctor on duty. They rotate enough that you usually see everyone while pregnant, and they do that on purpose - because when you go in to deliver, whoever is on hospital duty that day delivers your baby. So if you've at least met them all, you feel more comfortable about that. My office has 8 doctors, and I had seen all but 1 of them (not on purpose) while pregnant. I actually met that one when she swung into my hospital room after DD was born, for daily rounds.
GTKY: How would you describe your (clothing) style? Pretty simple... I don't like a lot of accessories, they annoy me... and I also like things to look flattering and be comfortable (so dresses, pants that fit right, shorts... anything really). I buy 99% of my clothes secondhand (except workout clothes) so I'm a little all over the place I guess. If I'm at home... 100% sweatpants and sweatshirt or leggings, which my DH loves. (Just kidding... he always comments whenever I'm wearing leggings. I think it makes him think i'm being trendy/college-girlish. But whatever. they are so comfy)
@bumpybump sorry for the looming AF @tripledaggerWed95976 I love free people! But it always seems to look ridiculous on me. I get nervous something happened to his sperm quality after having a serious trauma injury last year and then having a follow up surgery this past July. (not related to his goods... but anesthesia, many catheters, heavy narcotics among other things can't be good right?) We are far out from going to see someone about it (we're only on month 4)... but I guess I have some nerves about it and figure a supplement couldn't hurt? He's also in his 40s so there's taht too that I worry about. Sorry... not helpful to you at all but thought I'd ask @spk112 I loooove Urban Outfitters... and sorry for the bfn

Mommy to a super cute havanesse puppy and baby boy!
@Nelbetron It's OTC, but only online. My RE recommended it to me, and I'm actually starting to think his practice developed the line of supplements because the company is based in the same town as his practice and it's only fertility-related supplements. He said the pill is just a bunch of antioxidants, which he could buy separately, but this pill has them all in one. I wouldn't say *any* supplement couldn't hurt, because I think some can, but I specifically asked my doc in this case if it would hurt him if he didn't need it and he said no. I also worried about trauma to H's scrotum in his youth (he played rugby plus many other sports, and was generally a wild child in his 20s so it's likely he took a few crotch shots). I know it sucks to wait it out those months until you qualify for an SA, but there could be nothing wrong too so try not to worry until you have to

@delujm0 I used to do Stitch Fix as well and I had the same criticisms. I wanted to get a higher quality product for the price they wanted to charge. That is a good idea about the accessories, I might just make sure they include a cute bracelet or earings so I have an "insurance policy" to not loose my deposit lol!
@alysapuggles I was going to try to make it to next thurs... 12 dpo. It's not unreasonably early? I'm usually totally crazy and start at 8 dpo so 12 would be a dramatic improvement haha
@Nelbetron Would Wednesday be a good compromise? I usually have a 10-11 day LP, so I might already be totally out by Thurs and I really don't want to miss a good pee party if I can help it!
@Cait32 I've just collected them piece by piece over the years - some at a Nordstrom/Macy's type store, some at New York & Company. I hate the pants, too! I'm only 5'3", though, so they're never too long on me. I'm still searching for a great suit, though. Good luck!
*Lurking from the IF testing/check-in thread (or not I suppose since I'm technically in a beta wait)*
I would like to nominate @delujm0 for the Oct Siggy Challenge win! Does it matter that I haven't even waited until Oct??? Nahh.... Dwight stuck in pumpkin for the win ("I mean... eventually it will just rot off... right?").
@Cait32 The Limited makes their regular length and long length pants with an extra 2" in the cuff so that you can lengthen the pants if needed. Also, White House Black Market makes their suit pants in long length. I'm 5'10" with a 33" inseam. I feel your pain on finding suits that fit!
