@purplg8r I just got some generic green tea from Aldi and am trying that for now. I currently put a teaspoon of honey in to help sweeten it and make it a little easier to drink. Other than that one cup in the morning, I have cut out all caffeine this cycle.

@adirat That makes me feel a lot better! Thank you! Hmmm...I tend to be dehydrated, and I do drink caffeine all throughout the day (which I'm trying to stop). That would explain why I see barely any CM in the morning and it increases later in the day after I've had water.
WAYDTGKU: BBT, CM, Clearblue Fertility Monitor (plus prenatal, Omega 3, B100, vitamin C, CoQ-10, green tea). EOD when he's back from his work trip.
R/R: Husband is now away with work for three nights. I'm really hoping my body follows my usual "five days of high readings" pattern and we can do it on Friday / Saturday
CS/Q: -
GTKY: What was your first impression of your DH? First online impression - Wow, that's a great email. This guy really read my profile! First IRL impression - Oh, I thought he'd have a Canadian accent. Nice smiley face though
Is there a typical number of cycles it takes to start seeing a pattern with temping?
Well, you hope to see a temp rise in every chart - https://www.fertilityfriend.com/Faqs/How-to-chart-temperature.html. Most people's charts aren't exactly the same every month, so you'll get a rough idea of your pattern, but you still need to use OPKs to predict o-day in advance.
And, is there a best cd to start temping if you never have before?
Just as soon as you get your thermometer! Even if you've missed o-day this month, it's still good practice to get in the habit of temping every morning.
@deadasthatsquirrel love your screenname lol. And, FX that O holds out for both of us and we can HIO like crazy on Friday, Saturday, & (possibly) Sunday! Is there some sort of "don't O quite yet" dance that we can do???
@GeorgiaWife6912 I hate sleeping alone too! It probably doesn't help that I'm a light sleeper and we have a psychotic terrier mix who likes to bark at nothing in the middle of the night and scare me half to death.
@marybpoppins good luck with the rest of the renovation! I'm jealous of your extra long weekend.
@LuND and @mrsdaddario thanks for the support. I'm trying to snap myself out of it, and I think I'll get there in the next couple of days. I think it's just a bad combination of hormones, feeling like nothing in general is going right, and a bit of fear over taking the next step with TTC. I don't really have anyone other than MH to talk to about it because the limited circle of people who know we're trying don't have much experience with what I've been dealing with (thank goodness for my fellow bumpers!). My sister and best friend know what's going on, but they both had unplanned pregnancies, and my mother is completely unhelpful - I just get the 'it'll happen when it's supposed to' line.
@wabash15 - aww... you and YH! THAT is commitment! My DH and I were in different states for most of our dating life, I can't imagine not having Skype, and going to fly to see each other. @zwink1 - I'm sorry you're having a downer week. I am too. I hope it's looking up soon. @MrsN092714 - WOW! That is so rough. It is incredibly frustrating when someone isn't trying and *whoops* it just happens, when you're working so hard. And then to make it worse, she already has one that she doesn't take care of. How terrible! I just had a friend post on FB that she's KU and her due date is within a week of when our MC would've been. I feel ya girl! *creepy internet hugs* Enjoy your anniversary with your DH and Fx that this is your cycle. @Dilynne - I usually O on CD 19 and start CBD OPK's on CD12, so about a week before I expect O. Hope that helps.
@BertieMeetsGertie thank you I'll update at the bottom since Bump is being a jerk and won't let me go back to the top of the post lol Great question about the soy; curious if someone knows. @wabash15 Awww what a sweet story about you and DH!
@MrsN092714 that really sucks about you'r BIL... A similar thing happened to me with my brother (also terrible parents) so I can understand what you're feeling and it hurts hugs to you
@LuND good for you for going to DH if you need to! I was definitely considering it but DH is sharing a room with his brother and a 6hr drive both ways is a bit much lol Enjoy the alone time; I secretly don't mind him being away now and then either (just NOT during FW!!!). Love your "meet-cute" lol And high five to a fellow tall girl (I'm 5'10" and DH is 6" so I rarely wear heels lol)
@mrsdaddario that's a major pain in the butt especially when there's a solution lol Are you not allowed to post your own sign?
OKAY UPDATE...this is just wonderful.... So, thankfully, those were the workers this morning, just super early. Just as I was falling back asleep another person came at 740 and then I got a text that someone was coming at 830 also.
But here's what's worse: There are biologists coming from 2pm until midnight. (It's actually kind of cool, they're studying and tagging some endangered salamanders that live in the creek but they're nocturnal so these people are basically night snorkelling and that water is COLD so that can't be fun lol). Now, if all this was a one-go deal I'd be fine but apparently this is going to be going on for two weeks, at least----biologists leaving at midnight, one truck coming at 430am, and one truck at 730am, and possibly the First Nations band coming to get firewood around that time, too. And my dog will be sure to alert me of every vehicle. LoL just kidding, I'm just really freaking tired (I didn't get to sleep until 1am last night because of pain). And I feel like temping is practically out the window but I'll still try (hello open circles). It's unknown whether this will also occur on weekends. I can't wait for DH to get home; he's gonna be thrilled lol
Thanks for everyone's concern/support...what a freaking morning.
LASTLY.....really really hoping I haven't O'd yet so DH can catch that little eggy when he gets back tomorrow!!!!
I'll take some of that "don't quite O yet" dancing!!!
@RunRestRepeat Just an FYI, quite a few of the ladies on here use the Mabis that is mentioned in the newbie guide pinned to the top of the board. You can get it for about $7 on Amazon. If you choose to get another one, just make sure it is a BBT and goes to at least 1/10th of a degree and not 2/10th of a degree like most fever thermometers. Good luck!

@rainbowturtles haha, yeah DH will be about 3.5 hrs away, so totally doable. I normally really enjoy a little alone time here and there, too. I mean junk food (without the worry that DH will eat it all), bad TV, and all the wine. And, at least its really nice to have other "don't O quite yet" dancers to commiserate with!
@adirat@georgiawife6912@wabash15@leilac@hartmich@LuND@mrsdaddario@khrun17@rainbowturtles Thank you all so much for the kind words. I'm doing my best to not let myself get to worked up about it. I had a good vent last night. It does seem cruel the way the world works but I am trying to look at it in a positive light. If I am lucky enough to get my BFP soon both of my kids will have cousins close in age... The sting of this will fade. I do however feel sorry for their kids... The two of them have a 180 to do to become responsible parents... Starting with getting a job and not relying on mom and dad to support them. I only hope that something clicks and they make the changes they need to give these kids the life they deserve. Watching these two in action has been the longest ever slow motion train wreck. Im just hoping they tell my mil before I see her. She loves to come here and vent to me about them and I'm gonna have a real hard time keeping my lips sealed about this... Although I would never say anything as its not mine to tell.... I would however pay big money to be a fly on the wall when they do break the news!

CS/Q: so yesterday and the day before I had higher temps because I had actually woken up and fell back asleep, and then temped at my normal time. Today I woke up at 4 am on my own and I temped and got a lower temp. I really do think you will have less spikey temperatures if you temp immediately when you wake up (dog woke you up, had to pee, too hot, anxiety ) rather than laying there anxiously trying to fall back asleep to temp right at your normal time.
GTKY: What was your first impression of your DH? I first saw him when I walked into physics lab, and I thought he was a jock. He had a faux - hawk which was kinda cute, and he was really muscular. I thought he'd be a jerk and I wanted to stay away from him. He sat by me and kept trying to borrow pencils and erasers (now I know trying to find out my name!) He Facebooked messaged one day and I told my roommates "i have no idea who this weird guy is!" I really didn't. Come to find out he was head over heels for me and just wanted to pursue me. He asked permission for the first kiss which really stood out to me and I fell for him. He asked permission for every touch after that too, including sex. He really is a gentleman. I love him and how silly obsessed he was with me though trying to get to know me!

After finagling my wonky information from the weekend in FF, I'm moving to the TWW today, guys! I hope to see many of you there soon.
@CallaLily25 When looking at temps, it doesn't matter what they do day-to-day. Your temps will rise and fall daily based on any number of factors and it doesn't mean anything, so there is nothing to your temps "rising" for the past few days. The only thing you're looking for is an overall temperature shift of several tenths of a degree, which will be visible on your chart. The temps will cluster on the pre-O side, then again on the post-O side, slightly higher. Take the chart quiz on FF to guess when other people ovulated based on their charts and you'll see what I mean by seeing the overall shift.
@RunRestRepeat To find patterns, I think it's different for everyone. After even just one you could see where your temps normally hover, but it could take a couple depending on your circumstancs. As for when to start temping, best is CD1, but you could also wait until after your period is over; my temps are still a bit high for a few days after CD1 (see my chart in siggy) as the progesterone leaves the building completely.

R/R: Rant: I have no idea what is going on with my body! Since I started temping, I have never O'd later than CD 20. I had all my usual signs line up and my opk was getting a little darker yesterday, but then the line disappeared. I don't think I missed my surge because I test at least twice a day. And my temperature dropped even lower this morning than yesterday. I have no idea what's going on and I feel like I'm just kind of over it. I actually have two raves for today. The first happened last night: I came home and there was a big ol box in the entryway. So I went found DH and asked him what he had bought. He said he thought I had ordered something from Amazon because it was sitting on the front porch when he got home. Upon further investigation we saw that it was in Arms Reach Co-Sleeper, brand new in a box. Turns out a contest that I had entered on the internet about 2 months ago I had won! It was just really bizarre because they hadn't contacted me to let me know or anything. But free crib, so score! My second rave is that I went to my gym's Masters Swim this morning and even though I am so very tired, it was fantastic to be back in the water and nice to have something else to focus on besides TTC for a while. Wow, that was a novel. Virtual high five if you got through all that.
CS/Q: No point, my body doesn't CARE ABOUT LOGICAL THINGS.
GTKY: What was your first impression of your DH? We first passed each other in the hallway at work where we met and I thought he was a student there and he thought the same thing about me. Later when we formally met at the office, he was so stoic and gruff that I actually thought he didn't like me. Even with that, I remember thinking that he was just so freaking handsome.
@wabash15, Yikes, sorry for the migraine with jackhammering

@mrsdaddario, Yay for a good scan!! And we’re anniversary twins!!
@RunRestRepeat, I wouldn’t say that I have a clear temping

clear shift after O. That’s all I really care about!

GTKY: What was your first impression of your DH? The first time I met him I thought he was really quiet. Then next time I met him, I had forgotten that I had previously met him. I thought he was cute, quiet, and very nice.
CD: 25ish, I'm having pre-AF spotting so it'll happen in the next few days.
WAYDTGKU: Decided to start trying, found my BBT, bought a new BBT (cheaper than replacing the battery)
R/R: No rants today :-). Having a rave at my house since my girls are at Grandma's till tomorrow morning! I went out for lunch and had a beer.
CS/Q: Not today.
GTKY: What was your first impression of your DH? I actually don't remember meeting DH. We "met" at a birthday party and we were both there with other dates. I remember the party, and I remember his date being there, and I guess him but I don't remember actually talking to him. He claims that we had a conversation about Dr. Who and I do not remember it at all (I didn't drink at the party, but it sounds like a conversation I'd have with someone I'd just met). DH was casually dating a friend of my (at the time) BF. We hung out a few times as a group and I thought he was cool, but it took me a while to take a special interest.
WAYDTGKU: Charting, PNV, B6, EPO, Vitamin D, CoQ10, Progestaid (from my acupuncturist/herbalist to help with natural progesterone production), fertility acupuncture, green and RRL tea, Mucinex and OPKs beginning CD8 or CD9, extracting baby batter from OH in between abstinence for his SA.
That's a lot of stuff...
R/R: I'm always excited to go to acupuncture on Tuesdays. It's so nice and relaxing.
I have a lot to do to prep for being on vacation for 2+ weeks, and I don't want to do any of it. Still, I guess there are worse problems to have. The week is going fast!
CS/Q: Nope.
GTKY: We met online, so I had seen pics. He wasn't as tall as I thought, and had grown a goatee since, but neither of those things were an issue, just a surprise. What I remember most, thought, was thinking, yep, this is it. It took a LONG time, and lots of stops and starts, but he finally realized it, as well. When I told him I knew from the beginning that he was the one, he admitted that he totally didn't. I told him I couldn't help that he's dumb, LOL.
Thankfully, he's really, really not. He just totally takes his time to get around to the very best, right answer.

@leilac: I use CBA OPK and looked this up and it said if you miss FMU then try to use the pee after 4 hours of not peeing. I remember because I was like "seriously I have to look at the clock when I wake up to pee and make sure I wait long enough to pee--that's going to wake me up!" and it totally woke me up and I had to stay in bed thinking about how I would have to wait 4 hours to pee. Probably the same with the monitor.
@BertieMeetsGertie I've wondered that same thing about soy. I have a friend who ate sushi throughout 2 pregnancies and was totally fine, kids also fine. She said that Japanese women eat sushi pregnant and as long as you know your restaurant and are confident they don't have parasites you're fine (assuming not choosing high mercury fish). So maybe to an extent everything is partially BS? I wonder if the soy thing is comparable at all to the hormone-free meat issue since both have the potential to influence your hormones. That would make sense because plenty of women who eat meat raised with hormones manage to get pregnant, just like with soy, but if you think you might have a preexisting hormone imbalance or are sensitive to hormones, avoiding it may not be a bad idea. I decided to cut 95% of soy products and 90% hormone dairy and meat for now, but I'll go to 100% if I'm TTC for much longer.
Month/Cycle: 6/6 or 1/2 with more effort

WAYDTGKU: a lot, too much to type today
R/R: Rave: Judging from what I've seen here the last couple days, I think we need more scheduled pee parties. Also I really enjoyed everyone's DH meeting stories.
CS/Q: No thanks.
GTKY: I read somewhere that sharing dislikes can be at least as if not more important than sharing likes; and, if that's true, then that's more proof MH and I are well-matched. We met at a party at a mutual friend's house during college and he was arguing with this very arrogant guy who I was not fond of at all. I remember thinking "thank God someone's putting that arrogant dude in his place. I should talk to that guy who's doing it. He seems cool." Then I found out he was a drummer and I was like, "yes, I am totally into that". A couple weeks later we had a passionate conversation about how we can't stand when people play the victim in social situations, which oddly enough has been an ongoing conversation we are still having now almost 14 years later, and sort of a cornerstone of our shared philosophy about the world.
R/R: work sucked but I loved reading all of the responses to today's GTKY
CS/Q: nope
GTKY: What was your first impression of your DH? We met online. My online impression was "who the hell has a username like jerseyprince? " He's lucky I thought he was cute lol... On our first date, I thought he was cute, funny, and we were really comfortable with each other from the beginning. It felt like I knew him forever, even the night we first met.

I've been the worst TTGPer since school started back up again. So much so that I feel like I don't recognize a lot of you! I need to get back on my game!
R/R: I am sad that my O was later again this cycle. But happy it wasn't EVEN later considering the bad anxiety I had this month. Also I had the worst phone call with a parent of my teaching career today. So that's always fun.
CS/Q: None. I'm thinking today was O day (though all of my signs aligned better for yesterday). Looking forward to that temp tomorrow.
GTKY: What was your first impression of your DH? He was super goofy and adorable! He was only 14 and I was 16.
@Bitterbetty12 No need to apologize! Always great to see you, though I'm sorry to hear that your parents have been trying this school year.
@vflux33 I have a cousin who spent part of her pregnancy in Japan (her husband was stationed there at the time) and she said sushi is encouraged as a pregnancy food in Japan! It's mild and easy to digest in their pregnancy lore, and spicy foods are what pregnant women should avoid. She also told me that listeria fears make American women avoid cold cuts but European women avoid salads -- since listeria is likelier in salad greens than cold cuts. Kind of makes me wonder how real any of the food prohibitions are.
@adirat@vflux33 and others, I also read a bit recently that sushi might not be as bad as we make it out to be and they mentioned how women in Japan eat it all the time. I think preparation/freshness is key so definitely know your sushi restaurant (tho I'm so scared after losses that I probably wouldn't risk it personally just because of how much it's been built up as such a no no). There has been listeria found in SO many things recently that it feels like a land mine. Packaged salads, frozen fruits and veggies (even organic so it's not like quality matters). I do wonder how serious it all is and how much is fear mongering but it's one of those things where ....you never know ? I'd hate for anyone to be "that one time" But also don't want us all living in fear
GeorgiaWife6912 - Same. When my husband is working late I hear EVERY sound. It really freaks me out.
Dilynne - I used to O on CD 17 and I would start testing on ~ CD14. However, since you're regular until you're not.... I started to test on CD 10. This month I O'ed on CD 13 (I think). So, I would have missed it if I didn't start testing early.
@adirat: I didn't realized it was encouraged there --that's really interesting. I never heard the thing about salad vs. cold cuts either. I was planning to give up cold cuts and not give up salad but I will have to look into all that more now...
@rainbowturtles: I feel you on the not living in fear thing. I don't know about you guys but I feel like I'm already living in fear even though not KU... So sorry about your losses. I can definitely see why that would make you more paranoid about this stuff. There's so much conflicting info out there, which makes it all the more frustrating.
@Dinosaur: Yeah we need regular standing pee parties! Maybe we should do the 26th every month? I don't know. Who started the pee party again last time? I forget. But she definitely should be in on the date choosing!
@GeorgiaWife6912 Don’t let the “charts like mine” feature
get to you… my first cycle, I thought FF had predetermined that I was going to
have an anovulatory cycle (I had a late O) and then once I ovulated it seemed that most
of the charts that were “like mine” also had a short LP. neither of those “predictions”
ended up being something I had to worry about. Fx for O soon!
@hartmich Sorry about the moody hubby- I’ve been there! Hope
his mood turns around soon J
@adirat I hope you got to lay low and nurse your hangover
today!
@bertiemeetsgertie I think the answer to your soy question
is they do nothing to avoid it lol its another one of those things like saliva
or lube… plenty of people get KU even with those factors, they just show a
statistically significant impact in studies (and “statistically significant”
may not even be a large impact on absolute risk at all, and studies may be under
conditions that don’t really imitate real life). sometimes I think being too
educated about TTC is a bit of a burden gah!
@wabash15 I love your story about your journey with DH!
@CrystalPDX I wouldn’t worry too much about the spotting,
especially if its isolated to a single day. Lots of women have mid cycle spotting,
and it could have been a “sex injury” or something not even related to your
cycle
@Dilynne lots of OPK kits recommend starting 2-3 days before
expected O based on cycle length, but I’d probably start at CD 14 (a little
earlier in case you ovulate early or have a longer time between surge and O
since it can be 48 hours later on the longer side of things)
@JDW0325 I’m sorry for your loss, fx that today was O day
@Leilac FMU is probably still your “Best available” urine even
if you’re getting up during the night. I wouldn’t worry too much about it at
the moment
@CallaLily25 I don’t think your temps look too erratic so
far… my temps did the same thing my first cycle off of TTC (this is only my 2nd
cycle and it looks much different so far so we’ll see what happens in the long
run). As far as your CM question, I didn’t see too much last cycle and even the
fertile CM I have noted on my chart right now is minimal, and wasn’t the most
abundant type of CM on any day.. just the most fertile observed on that given
day which is the rule of CM charting I’m told. I’m hoping to see a boost now as
well but from what I understand lack of CM isn’t uncommon for a cycle or a few
cycles after BC.
@mrsdaddario GL with IUI! And, I also love guys with tattoos
@vflux33 lol DH and I bond a lot over dislikes as well (more
than I’d typically admit, actually)
Month/Cycle: 2/2
CD: 17
WAYDTGKU: Pshhht temping, OPKs, and apparently sucking at timing BD
R/R: Rant: Well, my chart would have you believe that I ovulated on the magical CD 14. Temps are staying high. I'm pretty bummed out because I was sure that I would O later, and would catch a + OPK if I was going to O significantly earlier (I started on CD 10). I'm still hoping its a fluke, cycle 1 FF gave me CH on CD 8 and eventually things became more clear and I didn't actually O until CD 23. I keep trying to talk myself into "I might not have ovulated yet" since I had a minimum of 30 hours of strong positive OPKs last cycle and my temp dropped a lot before O, which it didn't according to the FF dotted CH this cycle, and while I know that the first post-BC cycle can be very wonky... jumping from CD 23 O to CD 14 O just seems crazy, especially considering that my pre-BC cycles were in excess of 28 days. So, here's hoping anyway. I guess what I'm most bummed about is that *tmi?* we actually did uhh fool around on CD 14 but just not penetrative sex... I haven't been wanting to put a ton of pressure on our sex life right away, so I didn't want to dictate the course of things and rule out some of our usual habits. And now of course I regret that we didn't alter the type of sex that day to be TTC conducive. Blah! On the plus side, in general I'd be happier with a CD 14 O date than a CD 20+ O date from this cycle on out.
Since CD 14 would knock us out of the game, I think I'm just going to keep posting in WTO until the pattern either changes to reflect a later O date or I get AF again.
CS/Q: Nope
GTKY: What was your first impression of your DH?
He had long hair and was wearing a plaid shirt. I thought he was very cute. I was working at a bagel shop and was self conscious about having no makeup and my hair tied up in a ponytail wearing a t-shirt and a dirty old apron. I was asking him the usual questions "what type of cream cheese do you want?" etc. and he interrupted to say "You're so pretty"... I have a habit of blushing like an idiot anytime someone compliments me so I was super flattered but super uncomfortable getting through the rest of his bagel order LOL! So I kind of found that off-putting. He came in a couple times looking for me when I wasn't working and my coworkers would get excited for me... so by the time he actually came in when I was working I had warmed up to the idea of giving my number to this stranger

@zwink1 - I'm sorry you're having a downer week. I am too. I hope it's looking up soon.

@MrsN092714 that really sucks about you'r BIL... A similar thing happened to me with my brother (also terrible parents) so I can understand what you're feeling and it hurts
@LuND good for you for going to DH if you need to! I was definitely considering it but DH is sharing a room with his brother and a 6hr drive both ways is a bit much lol Enjoy the alone time; I secretly don't mind him being away now and then either

@wabash15, Yikes, sorry for the migraine with jackhammering outside! Great that you got a good night’s sleep, though! And OMG I didn’t realize we could have an anniversary baby! Now my hopes are going to be crazier than ever this month!!
@adirat, that’s interesting research! Thanks!!
@MrsN092714, Oh I am so sorry. That is a really tough situation. You get all the hugs today.
But on the positive side, happy
anniversary!!!
@LuND, LOL cute story!!
@mrsdaddario, Yay for a good scan!! And we’re anniversary twins!!
@RunRestRepeat, I wouldn’t say that I have a clear temping pattern, but in the three months I’ve been doing it, I have been able to see a clear shift after O. That’s all I really care about!
@Sirius37, Wow, nice score with the free crib!!

We hung out a few times as a group and I thought he was cool, but it took me a while to take a special interest.

mrsdaddario OMG I’m such a shoulders girl too.
@lulu1180 (again!) I have this theory that the TARDIS is a Hoberman sphere.

CD: 3
WAYDTGKU: will do all the things soon
R/R: work sucked but I loved reading all of the responses to today's GTKY
CS/Q: nope
GTKY: What was your first impression of your DH?
We met online. My online impression was "who the hell has a username like jerseyprince? " He's lucky I thought he was cute lol... On our first date, I thought he was cute, funny, and we were really comfortable with each other from the beginning. It felt like I knew him forever, even the night we first met.

@Sugargirl1019 I LOVE that your H was/is all about consent! We need more men like that!!!!
@Sirius37 your situation with your body defying logic is not funny but your words and gif cracked me up
this GTKY has been fantastic! Love reading all the stories
Month/Cycle: Gahhh. It's month change day. Ugh. (9/7) 3/3 TTCAL
CD: 21
WAYDTGKU: OPK, CM, CP, BBT, PNV, CoQ10, RRLT, HIO
R/R: I am sad that my O was later again this cycle. But happy it wasn't EVEN later considering the bad anxiety I had this month. Also I had the worst phone call with a parent of my teaching career today. So that's always fun.
CS/Q: None. I'm thinking today was O day (though all of my signs aligned better for yesterday). Looking forward to that temp tomorrow.
GTKY: What was your first impression of your DH?
He was super goofy and adorable! He was only 14 and I was 16.

Dilynne - I used to O on CD 17 and I would start testing on ~ CD14. However, since you're regular until you're not.... I started to test on CD 10. This month I O'ed on CD 13 (I think). So, I would have missed it if I didn't start testing early.
vflux33 - I second the more pee parties!!!
Month/Cycle: 5/5
CD: 14
WAYDTGKU: All the normal stuff and trying Mucinex this month
R/R: Rave: I think I O'ed yesterday. Just waiting to confirm my temps! Rant: It's so freaking hot in LA this week. Why can't it be winter yet????
CS/Q: None.
GTKY: What was your first impression of your DH? A geek! I met him when I was 14. He was/is such a sweet guy.
@GeorgiaWife6912 Don’t let the “charts like mine” feature get to you… my first cycle, I thought FF had predetermined that I was going to have an anovulatory cycle (I had a late O) and then once I ovulated it seemed that most of the charts that were “like mine” also had a short LP. neither of those “predictions” ended up being something I had to worry about. Fx for O soon!
@hartmich Sorry about the moody hubby- I’ve been there! Hope his mood turns around soon J
@adirat I hope you got to lay low and nurse your hangover today!
@bertiemeetsgertie I think the answer to your soy question is they do nothing to avoid it lol its another one of those things like saliva or lube… plenty of people get KU even with those factors, they just show a statistically significant impact in studies (and “statistically significant” may not even be a large impact on absolute risk at all, and studies may be under conditions that don’t really imitate real life). sometimes I think being too educated about TTC is a bit of a burden gah!
@wabash15 I love your story about your journey with DH!
@MrsN091714 Happy anniversary!
@CrystalPDX I wouldn’t worry too much about the spotting, especially if its isolated to a single day. Lots of women have mid cycle spotting, and it could have been a “sex injury” or something not even related to your cycle
@alyssapuggles yay for CH! Good luck!
@Dilynne lots of OPK kits recommend starting 2-3 days before expected O based on cycle length, but I’d probably start at CD 14 (a little earlier in case you ovulate early or have a longer time between surge and O since it can be 48 hours later on the longer side of things)
@JDW0325 I’m sorry for your loss, fx that today was O day
@Leilac FMU is probably still your “Best available” urine even if you’re getting up during the night. I wouldn’t worry too much about it at the moment
@CallaLily25 I don’t think your temps look too erratic so far… my temps did the same thing my first cycle off of TTC (this is only my 2nd cycle and it looks much different so far so we’ll see what happens in the long run). As far as your CM question, I didn’t see too much last cycle and even the fertile CM I have noted on my chart right now is minimal, and wasn’t the most abundant type of CM on any day.. just the most fertile observed on that given day which is the rule of CM charting I’m told. I’m hoping to see a boost now as well but from what I understand lack of CM isn’t uncommon for a cycle or a few cycles after BC.
@mrsdaddario GL with IUI! And, I also love guys with tattoos
@deadasthatsquirrel Fx your O date lines up with H’s availability!
@vflux33 lol DH and I bond a lot over dislikes as well (more than I’d typically admit, actually)
