R/R: Rant: DH was working last night and I didn't sleep at all because I kept hearing every tiny sound in the house. He doesn't usually work nights so I'm not used to being alone. Rave: Got to go visit my mom at the cemetery and then have dinner with a good friend I haven't seen in several years.
CS/Q: ***TW**** I used the "charts like mine" feature in FF last night while I was laying in bed wide awake. All of the charts that matched had the key words "annovulatory, miscarriage, and overweight." So now I'm afraid I really am never going to O and it's because I'm 20lbs heavier than I was when I was ttc #1 and if I do get KU It will be a miscarriage. Literally not one positive chart matched mine. Ugh. ***End TW***
I guess that was more of a rant than CS/Q
GTKY: What was your first impression of your DH? Overbearing. He tried so hard to get me to go out with him at first that I finally had to cut ties because I couldn't take it. Fast forward 3-4 years and we started talking again and were engaged/married pretty quickly.
@GeorgiaWife6912 Girl, just like we tell people that if your chart matches a pregnancy chart, it doesn't mean your KU.... same deal. Just because your chart isn't pretty doesn't mean it can't work out. FX for O soon.
Month/Cycle: 4/4

WAYDTGKU: Green tea, HIO EOD (trying), OPKs, waitingggg
R/R: H was in the CRAPPIEST mood last night. He got all pissy about the stupidest thing and then we just ignored each other all night. This type of behavior does not help in making a baby!
CS/Q: Nah
GTKY: What was your first impression of your DH?
I actually thought he was kind of rude... ha. I met him and his roommate in college at the same time, and his roommate is super polite/sweet, and H is just more of a goofball, so it was just the contrast between the two. Once I got to know him more, we became really good friends.
WAYDTGKU: BD EOD, PNVs, temping, checking CM and CP, green tea, evening primrose oil, cut out caffeine
R/R: 1) I woke up DH early this morning for BD in case today is O day, I figured morning would be better than afternoon. Even though he had warning ahead of time, he wasn't quite as into it as I thought he would be. Oh well, at least we got it in! 2) I was just thinking yesterday how well the magnesium seems to be helping in sleeping better and then I woke up every couple hours last night - I think I was afraid I would miss the alarm lol 3) Not only did I get EWCM yesterday (yay!) but there was even a very tiny bit on the TP after using the bathroom! I was so excited!! It's kind of sad the things that get me all excited anymore lol
CS/Q: I know green tea is generally used during FW to help increase EWCM but is it "harmful" at all to drink it after O? I know this seems like kind of a silly question but thought I would double check because I'm kind of enjoying my cup of green tea in the mornings.
GTKY: What was your first impression of your DH? I met him online so I guess I really have 2 first impressions. My first impression of his profile was refreshing because of one line that said "intelligence is sexy." It's so hard to find a guy who will look past the outside beauty of a woman to see that she has brains and a good heart. When I met him in person, I was pleasantly surprised that he actually looked like his profile pic (and I rather enjoyed staring at his behind as we walked into the restaurant )

@lulu1180 I personally stop after O because I think I read somewhere it prevents absorption of folic acid... maybe. I personally don't love it so that's really why I don't continue!
WAYDTGKU: PNV, BBT, CM, CoQ10, probiotic, magnesium, B complex
R/R: Walked into work just as another coworker announced she's KTFU. One was last week and they both brought food. I said, "I'm in March. (meaning my birthday) When are you due?" and she totally thought I was too. Between these two and my 5 friends having babies on the 21st and another two weeks ago, my baby fever is at an all time high. I also have a baby shower to go to on Sunday.
Positive OPK and lots of EWCM last night and this morning, so I am about to O about a week earlier than I expected and 5 days earlier than I ever have since doing OPKs. My shortest cycle since coming off BCP 10 months ago was 26, but most are 33 and last one was 37. I jinxed myself with the superstition question yesterday because as soon as I got signed up for my short-term DI... wham! Here comes an unexpected O with what looks like will be -5 and -2. I told DH and he was pretty nonchalant. We shall see.
CS/Q: Nope, after a typical large preO dip, my temp is the same as two days ago... but I expect a big rise tomorrow morning.
GTKY: What was your first impression of your DH?
Man can he swing a bat with those nice arms and broad shoulders! He also had nice eyes under his super adorable backwards baseball hat.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
R/R: Tomorrow is my last day for the work week, thank goodness. We have someone coming into start the kitchen reno, the part that we can't do ourselves. And of course I'm worried about everything - especially my fur babies.
CS/Q: I got a positive OPK yesterday morning, then a lighter line in the evening. I'm kicking myself for not testing Saturday and Sunday, but we were so busy! So I'm assuming that I O'ed yesterday or today. I'll jump to TWW tomorrow.
GTKY: What was your first impression of your DH? I found his profile online, Plenty of Fish! And I messaged him first because I thought he was attractive and I loved what he wrote about himself. He wasn't a goo texter so I was worried he didn't want to really meet me. But when we met, I thought he was funny, sweet, shy, and even more attractive than his pictures online.
Me: 28 DH :28 Married 12/5/2015 4 fur babies - 2 cats, 2 dogs TTC July 2016
R/R: I'm not even sure this will make sense. I live on a property that's attached to a forestry road where they're planning an energy project or something but we've had so many problems with people breaking in (stolen from our shed but also poached wood from the road, etc). I was told yesterday there would be scheduled work on the road today that would start at 830am and go until midnight. But I just got woken up by my dog before 5am because there's people trying to get into our gate. When I notice they're not getting in/don't have a key, I run to grab slippers and a robe but they're gone by the time I get back. But I can still here noises and then a bit later I can see lights going up the forestry road. There is one other access point but I didn't think large equipment could get up there. So now I'm left wondering and hoping these are the people that are supposed to be up there and are just early but of course none of the contact numbers I have are answering (so glad they're still sleeping!) and of course DH is OOT. So not only do I get freaked out a bit (I have PTSD) but my temp taking time is 530 and today was an important temping day so I'm beyond ticked!!! I'm fine with them coming whenever but stick to a fucking schedule! 5am isn't even close to 830. I have a headache now and honestly started crying a bit; I'm so angry lol Going to try to go back to sleep and get some sort of temperature but I know it will be off I'll be back later....
CS/Q: no
GTKY: What was your first impression of your DH? I thought he was cute and looked outdoorsy...honestly, he brought his dog on our first date and I'm a huge dog lover and I remember petting her and her having the softest fur lol So yah, my first impression of DH is of his dog Smart man!
R/R: Sooooo tired. It was extremely hot here yesterday and the bedroom felt like it was 90 degrees. No sleeping in that heat.
CS/Q: not really. Huge temperature dip today, but it's too early to be anything.
GTKY: I thought he was too Hollywood and too cool for me. I still am the introvert/not cool one of the two of us, but it is nice now that he can be the social butterfly and I don't have to try so hard in social situations.
@GeorgiaWife6912 Keep your head up for a few more days. Charts are crazy.
WAYDTGKU: PNV, tracking temp, cm,cp. pre-seed, HIO like horny teens during FW
R/R: rave: DS slept in this morning and I had a shower and coffee before he woke up. It was magical. I feel like I can conquer the world today.
CS/Q: not today.
GTKY: What was your first impression of your DH? I thought he was so good looking and I broke rule of "must have a car" on my list of "how to avoid a douchebag" dating rules. A friend and I had a long string of terrible boyfriends and we created this list to find 'the one' and it worked out for both of us lol. *edit. Fat fingers vs small keyboard on phone*
@GeorgiaWife6912 I'm so sorry FF said that! I purposely avoid "charts like mine" because it freaks me out, and because it isn't relevant. Other people's experience doesn't generalize to your uterus. I've looked at your chart and I think there's a really good chance that you're having a bizarre first cycle TTC and things will even out. Hugs.
@lulu1180 It's safe to drink green tea all the time as far as I know. My acupuncturist recommends it for all parts of the cycle and I've seen western pregnancy sources recommend it as a lower-caffeine alternative to coffee so I'm sure it's fine. I haven't seen what @hartmich said about folic acid though so I'll have to look into that.
WAYDTGKU: Temping,
CM, OPKs, PNVs, CoQ10, B6, B12, vitamin D, green tea, avoiding soy.
R/R: I am hungover. Boooooo. Last night was like
CS/Q: I'll start temping again tomorrow morning. I go out of town, most likely without DH, around CD16 so I'm really hoping for a normally timed O this cycle (I've been between CD15-17 so far).
GTKY: What was your first impression of your DH? We met in college. He lived on the same floor as a friend of mine from Russian class. I thought he was cute! We were friends for years before we started hooking up which then became dating seriously.
@GeorgiaWife6912 step away from the chart compares. You're chart is unique to you and could have totally different results. There are just too many variables to take into consideration then matching charts.
@lulu1180 congrats on the EW cm! Hopefully you O soon! Also I always stop the tea because I hate it. But maybe switch to decaf?
@NYTino24 holy baby mamas everywhere. Hang in there!
Just posting to say I moved on over to TWW this morning. FF gave me CH's a few days ago, but I'm confident that even if FF moves them, I still O'd at the latest yesterday. I hope to see you all very, very soon!
@GeorgiaWife6912, chin up, lady! There's still time for you to O. Keep away from the charts like mine rabbit hole! @rainbowturtles, OMG! You are so in the right to be pissed and scared! I know I would be. Hopefully it was the team you expected at 8:30am and not some other random strangers trying to get on your property.

R/R: we had a nice dinner at home last night and shared a bottle of wine for our anniversary. And then we watched the debate... Oh, and I had a positive opk last night! I just did another one and it was lighter so I'm hoping today is O day!
CS/Q: ok so this might be a really random question but with all of the talk about avoiding soy and stuff, what do women from cultures that rely heavily on soy (I'm thinking soy sauces, tofu, etc) do to avoid this? Or do they not have as many problems with it? Clearly those women get KTFU, so I'm just really curious.
GTKY: What was your first impression of your DH? Couldn't tell ya! DH and I have been dating for almost 15 years. He was good friends with one of my brothers so he was at our house a lot. Not sure when we first met.

@NYTino24 sounds like you have a pretty good chance this cycle! And yay for FINALLY signing up for STD! But good gracious at all of the babies popping up around you! @marybpoppins I'm incredibly jealous of your short week! Hoping the reno goes well! And wahoo hoo for O! @rainbowturtles ugh. I'm sorry it's been a rough day already! It sucks to miss a temp but especially a temp that is pertinent to figuring out what's going on! And I would be freaking out about all of the crazies on my property! Creepy internet hugs! @maebee87 long cycle buddy! Such an amazing feeling to get stuff accomplished before the kids wake up! And yes.... stepping away from the charts like mine for good. won't make that mistake again! @adirat I definitely won't be looking at the "charts like mine" anymore. I was hoping for some confirmation that I could still have a normal cycle and it totally backfired. Fx for a well timed O! @BertieMeetsGertie thanks lady! I have definitely had plenty of cycles around 40 days but my last several have been around 30 days so it's hard not to get discouraged. Dang irregular cycles! Sounds like you had an amazing anniversary! And whoo hoo for a positive OPK! Icing on the cake. FX today is O day! @berg yay for crosshairs!
@GeorgiaWife6912 - I'm sorry the chart stalking last night wasn't good. It's really hard to know what's going on and FF allowing us to go down a rabbit hole like that is not helpful. We already do enough of that ourselves without them feeding it. Fx for you! @hartmich - I'm glad MH and I aren't the only ones who get pouty/immature. Hope all is better now though. @NYTino24 - woah baby-o-rama. Yeah, that definitely doesn't feel great when TTC though. Have fun at the shower though! @rainbowturtles - YIKES about being up early and not knowing who it is. I hope all is well. Sorry for the bad temp timing too. @berg - good luck over there! Don't come back Fx this is your cycle.

GTKY: What was your first impression of your DH? That he was SUPER helpful! I worked for an office at our college that was hosting a HUGE event, and he was one of the volunteers for it. Most of the volunteers were helping decorate and get the main room set up, while I was doing a lot of behind the scenes things. DH came over and asked if I needed help with anything, since I was in the back room by myself. What a sweetie!
WAYDTGKU: all things, my OPK was nearly + this morning, I wonder if it will be another false surge like last cycle or if I will be O'ing early...
R/R: Rant- I had a migrane last night and we had gotten a notice back in july that was dated may, that they would be doing some side walk work to make them handicap accessible. THats great, but they decided to show up last night to do the work, so at 6pm last night they were jackhammering the side walk. Not so good for the migrane. On the upside they finished just after 7 so it didn't interfere with baby bed time. Rave- after being Mr. crankypants for the first part of the evening DH stepped up so I could crawl into the dark hole of our bed and fall asleep by 8pm due to the migraine. I slept 10 hours straight!!!! in my world this is unheard of, and though I am still a little foggy this AM I feel so much better
CS/Q: not yet
GTKY: What was your first impression of your DH? I thought he was handsome but I was hoping to get an internship (read work 80-90 hrs a week, no life and no money) and he was about to deploy to Afghanistan for 15 months so I figure it was not a good time for either of us. well, we hung out for 24 hrs during my brothers wedding and the rest is history. He deployed 2 weeks after we met and we wrote back and forth for 15 months, just after he got home from deployment he purposed and we were married 5 months later, though we didn't actually live together (or in the same state) until nearly our 1st anniversary. Actually the longest amount of time we spent together before moving in was our wedding and honeymoon (a total of 10 days) Good thing I liked him as much as I thought I did
@georgiawife6912 hugs girl, those charts LIE! I am 15lbs heavier than when I got pregnant last time. Lots of moms are and still get pregnant again. Ignore those charts.
@rainbowturtles I'm so sorry you had to wake up to that, it would have made me nervous too. I also get being pissed, those close to O temps are so important! Hugs girl. I hope the rest of your day goes better
@BertiemeetsGertie I have wondered this too. There could be a couple things in play. One is that people of Asian descent may not react to soy in the same way given that sensitivity to soy in cultures with a lot of soy in the diet would fade out over many generations (given that people with issues would be less likely to procreate and/or have fewer babies, and therefore the sensitivity is less likely to appear in the population over time). Another is that "natural" soy products like edamame or tofu don't have the same estrogenic effects as "processed" soy products like soy lecithin (which is often considered to be the most estrogenic -- https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21801783). A friend of mine who used to live in China told me that sperm counts among Chinese men are lower than among men in low-soy cultures (of course I can't find a citation for this now) and that Chinese families tended to have fewer children in pre-contraceptive eras than in other areas of the world. Of course with the one-child policy for Han Chinese couples, issues are not as apparent in the birth rate as they may otherwise be.
WAYDTGKU: temping, vitamins, checking cm, tea, waiting for o... That's pretty much it right now.
R/R: None really, I've just been really down the last week or so. H has noticed, but he always tries to fix/talk about it in the a.m. right before we have to get up and leave for work. Sorry, no, I do not want to have a 2 minute conversation about what's getting me down 30 minutes before I go to work. Not helpful.
CS/Q: nope, just trucking along until ~cd15 to start using opks...
GTKY: What was your first impression of your DH? I thought he was rude, narcissistic, and kind of a jerk...I also thought he was pretty attractive, haha. We met for the first time when we were both really young and he had the douchey early 20s attitude going strong. Clearly, that sorted itself out!
Edit: mobile bumping; spelling/auto correct errors.
R/R: Rant: yesterday I found out my BILS girlfriend is pregnant. She has a 4m old (not his) and neither of them work and social services had been involved since her LO was born because... frankly, they are absolutely clueless and do not put that baby 1st. I know it is what it is but it seems cruel that the universe took my baby and gave them one... I am sad and mad about the entire situation. I'm just waiting to hear that we had the same due date as one last kick to the uterus and F you from above. Rave: it's our second anniversary today. Hubby remembered and gave me a gain the morning kiss before work. I know he's going to have a late night at work tonight so I probably won't see him again today but we are going to try to get a sitter on the weekend and get a good date night in.
CS/Q: naw...
GTKY: What was your first impression of your DH? We met at around 3 am. I just got off work and he just got back to his buddies after the bar. When I walked in he was sitting shirtless drinking a protein shake and I was smitten. We talked for almost 4 hours then I ran away and called my best friend and said I just met my future husband (thinking I would never see him again) but here we are 6 years later and celebrating our 2nd wedding anniversary!

@KhRun17@wabash15 Thanks y'all. The logical me knows that those charts have no effect on me. Just gotta get the emotional me on board.
@wabash15 as a fellow migraine-sufferer, I'm so sorry you had to deal with that last night. But how awesome of your H to step up and let you crawl into bed to try to sleep it off. I'm glad you are feeling better this morning!
@KhRun17 our highs are still in the 90s today. I would probably be freezing with your temps but I would take it as a change for a day or two. I am OVER this heat.
R/R: Last night was a TTC roller coaster and I am so frustrated. See below.
CS/Q: Yeaterday afternoon I was finally able to turn my first OPK positive, so thank you to those that encouraged me to stay. I just felt like it was so late since I have short cycles. Anyway, I was ecstatic, and we BD'd last night. I went to the bathroom to clean up, and there was some pink on the tissue. So I was looking up spotting during O and see that it is somewhat common...
Have any of you ladies spotted during O?
I sort of feel like it wasn't O spotting and just regular spotting before AF... and now I'm symptom spotting AF and ruling myself out, even though that OPK was for sure positive.
GTKY: What was your first impression of your DH? I thought he was very handsome and very sweet, but he was so nervous our first few dates I didn't think it would ever work out. He finally pulled it together on about the 3rd date We originally met at a bar and I made the first move, so was originally attracted to his great smile.
@MrsN092714 That is really tough generally and even shittier TTCAL. I'm so sorry. Creepy internet hugs for you -- I hope you are kind to yourself today.
TW! Ugh ladies. It's my first cycle TTCAL I have very consistent cycles 28-30 days. O on CD 16 or 17. Well had all the signs O was coming and no positive OPk in site. I'm CD 16 today. Hoping tomorrow I get a positive. My temps and other signs look like O today! So confusing.
The TLDR is that in the short term, in this case same-day blood readings, drinking a lot of green or black tea reduces the bioavailability of folic acid. It does not eliminate it but if you are a big tea drinker, you may want to make sure you are taking extra folic acid. I am a big tea drinker so I may need to start taking more myself! Thank you @hartmich!
@DilynneI've seen recommendations to start five days earlier than your earliest ovulation day just in case. I usually start when I begin to see watery CM instead of sticky.
@mrsn092714 creepy internet hugs girl. I would be an emotional basket case if I heard that news. It is unbelievably hard when all you want is a little one in your arms and that dream goes away, then someone who may not be as appreciative of the gift gets it so easily. You have the right to feel all the feels today. Try to be good to yourself. @crystalpdx it could be spotting associated with O it could also be some irritation of your cervix from the BD. Don't count yourself out yet. I know the wait is hard but hopefully your temps over the next few days will confirm O. Don't jump down the rabbit hole

CS/Q: CBFM wants me to use my FMU, which I do...but I also pee at least once during the night every night. Is my FMU still good?

@MrsN092714 I'm so sorry you had to hear that news, lady. I totally get how you feel and I wish for nothing more that anyone who wanted a baby just got one easily, and the people who don't take care of them or whatever had the struggles. Life isn't fair and I hate that.

WAYDTGKU: whelp, not to terribly much since DH is leaving for a few days. Otherwise it's OPK, PNV, CM/CP, BBT
R/R: Thanks to everyone for putting up with my uber crabbiness yesterday! This morning I think I got my first legit BBT temp, so I'm excited to get my first chart going - and hopefully it makes sense since I couldn't temp until CD9. DH and I were able to BD last night since he'll be out of town for a couple days. If he's not back by Friday night and I'm showing signs of O being close, in true "crazy TTC lady" fashion, I'm driving to wear he's staying and insisting on BD lol. Last cycle O was CD 13 or 14, but we'll see what my body comes up with this cycle. And despite me being annoyed that DH is gone so close to my possible FW, I'm excited to have the house to myself for a few evenings.
CS/Q: nothing to see here
GTKY: What was your first impression of your DH? Ha, well we met on St. Patrick's Day at a bar. I thought he was cute and nice, but too short (I'm 5'9" and he's pretty much the exact same height). My friend told me that he was cute and that I should make out with him.... so I did. Essentially we're a one-night-stand-gone-right story. The next morning we woke up and I said "you're too short. Do you remember my name?" It's still something we laugh about.
WAYDTGKU: BDing every other day, Temping, Using OPKs, Checking CM and CP
R/R: We're getting a new desk today for our study! I don't know why this is so exciting to me, but it'll be nice to actually have furniture in our empty third bedroom.
CS/Q:*Question* Do my temps look erratic thus far? I thought they were coming down, but now they seem to be rising again. Also, for those who came off BC, when did you finally start to see CM again? I feel like I have nothing and don't know if it's normal or if it means I'll O late.
GTKY:What was your first impression of your DH? I met DH in middle school! lol So, my first impression was that he was a "punk" kid. Now he's as "preppy" as they come hahahaha.
@lulu1180 I've heard green tea is wonderful for you! I would keep drinking it even after O. @GeorgiaWife6912 I know how you feel. I've been obsessing about my chart lately too. That feature on FF causes all kinds of paranoia!
@GeorgiaWife6912 Were you recently off of BCP? I mean, I'm sure you know this as you already have a LO, but it can take a while to regulate after coming off of BCP. Or even if you have been BP. Your cycle will take a while to come back after that as well. Or perhaps you are just having an off cycle!! Fx that you see signs of O soon!! I also hate staying at home overnight w/o my H! I'm a big baby too lol.
@hartmich Sorry YH is being a noob! Hopefully tonight he bucks up and puts out lol.
@lulu1180 I know when I first started on TB, everyone was all about the Raspberry Leaf Tea. It was recommended to stop drinking it after O, but I can't remember what was said about green. Maybe for now, until you can get some solid answers about it, you can stop for your LP. Then search out the answer? But yay for EWCM!
@NYTino24 Holy cow that is a lot of babies! It's weird how life works like that isn't it? When you're NTNP, and trying not to think about it too much, there it is right in your face and unavoidable.
@marybpoppins I'm dying to reno our kitchen! Well, our entire house actually. You should post before's and after's so I can oogle it jealously!
@rainbowturtles That sounds really awful, and I'm sorry it mucked up your whole morning! We live on a dead end road in the mountains. We butt up against state owned land. We often have people coming down the road thinking it actually leads somewhere. I always get sketched out because I am also often home alone, and we no longer have our guard dog. I wish the town would put a dead end sign at the start of the street, but they never bat an eye when it's mentioned in town meetings.
@theweevee Sorry for the awful heat! At this point in time I'm glad the heat is over here on the east coast, and fall is coming in with it's cooler weather!
@maebee87 Yay for an easy morning!! Hopefully the rest of your day goes the same!
@adirat Boo for hang overs! I hope you can eat something greasy to help with it lol
@BertieMeetsGertie IMO, some of the avoid this/do this/don't do this is purely holistic, and can't always be taken seriously. We all want to get KU, so we are likely to buy into things that may not always make the most sense. IMO soy isn't preventing anyone from getting KU, and conversely, I doubt tea is making anyone get KU. I've been trying long enough to know that if there are problems, it's not because you're eating soy or not drinking the right kind of tea. And I doubt anyone could possibly eat so much of it as to affect fertility. But again, that's just my opinion. Coming from a jaded TTCer lol. Also, happy anniversary! Ours was Sunday
@wabash15 Yay for 10 hours of sleep!! You must have really needed it! Good for YH for stepping up to let you get some R&R!
@zwink1 I'm sorry you're feeling so down. Is there someone else you could talk to, besides YH?
@MrsN092714 I'm so sorry for your loss, and now your BIL situation. It's always how the universe works. A kick in the face to the ones who truly deserve a blessing, and a free hand out if you will, to those who don't. Hopefully they step up and become better parents.
@CrystalPDX Ovulation spotting is not extremely common, but also not unheard of. It's nothing to truly worry about unless it continues. If it continues it could be a sign of an ovulation/LP issue. Have you come off of BCP recently?
@JDW0325 I'm sorry for you loss. Have you been cleared by a doctor to try again so soon after? A lot of doctor's recommend at least one cycle for your body to have time to heal after a loss. It could also take your cycle a while to regulate.
R/R: Not much going on. Had a good follicle scan yesterday. The upped dose of Gonal is working, and I had two follicles in the lead, with a third showing signs of catching up. I'll go back tomorrow morning, and again Friday morning. IUI likely next week. Our first anniversary was yesterday, so that was nice! One year down of being a pain in my husband's ass, a lifetime to go
CS/Q: Nah
GTKY: What was your first impression of your DH? I thought he was cute, with his broad shoulders/beard/tattoo's. But I also thought he was a bit dweeby, and too nice. I had a track record of dating "bad boys", and he was the first with his shit together. And that scared me. Probably because I knew instantly he was "the one". I told my mom on my car ride home from our first date that I was going to marry him. And I did!
@GeorgiaWife6912 I hear you on being home alone - my DH travels a fair amount (and usually last minute) for work and of course when he's gone I hear EVERY LITTLE SOUND in our creaky old house. Always makes for sleepless nights on my end. @adirat Thanks for the green tea info! I'm a big tea drinker and didn't even think about it - I've cut out most coffee but never considered the negative effects of tea.
Month/Cycle: 1/2

WAYDTGKU: pnv, cm, green tea, hio eod as fw approaches
R/R: As a usually social drinker, I'm getting really peeved by the "OMG are you ku?!" questions every time we're out with friends. I never thought so many people would be that into the happenings of my uterus and I'm running out of comebacks. In reality, I've been drinking occasionally, but still want to cut back. In good news, I'm almost halfway through my work week since I'm taking Friday off... then it's a four day weekend for me!
CS/Q: Is there a typical number of cycles it takes to start seeing a pattern with temping? And, is there a best cd to start temping if you never have before? I've been searching bbt on the boards, but wanted to see if you ladies had any input before jumping in.
GTKY: What was your first impression of your DH? We met freshman year of high school, and I just remember thinking he was cute. He had the whole rebellious skater vibe going for him. But of course I was dating his friend. His first impression of me was that I had a nice a&*. We became friends, started dating after I realized the other guy was a loser, and nearly 15 years later, here we are!
@mrsdaddario I havent been on birth control since Oct '12, so I'm guessing it's just an off cycle. I'm not new to temping, and I did have one or two cycles like this before DS but it's still frustrating when the majority of them haven't been this long. Especially since this is the first cycle ttc again haha. GET IT TOGETHER BODY! Also, the heat apparently isn't over for ALL of the east coast! it's 93 here today in Georgia! Yay for a good scan! And fx for a great IUI. Hopefully this is your cycle! Happy Anniversary!
@crystalpdx i have spotted during O a few times.. generally brownish and not enough for a panty liner. It also had some EWCM in it so I wasn't too confused.
I have also spotted way before O and way after a period (so unrelated to either) and I have no idea why that would happen.
WAYDTGKU: PNVs, temping, opks, BD EOOD this week, made hubby take multi-vitamin, cut out soda
R/R: hmmm. Nothing really
CS/Q: none
GTKY: What was your first impression of your DH? Lol. I met him through my best friend at the time & his twin brother. He was known for being a player and I was always strictly in relationships. I was just getting out of a bad relationship and so I decided to try something different and he was just supposed to be a summer fling. Apparently I tamed him
@Callalily25 Your temps are fine. There's barely any variation -- your "rise" is literally less than 0.1 degree. You should see a real spike for O. If you look at others' charts, you'll see there's much more variation and O can still be seen. To your CM question, I started getting fertile CM my first cycle off HBC, so it can be any time. For me the biggest variable is hydration -- if I don't drink enough water, I dry right up.
@mrsdaddario Haha, thanks! I'm trying to eat healthy but don't doubt that bacon crossed my mind this morning... I love your interpretation of wedding anniversaries! Have a wonderful anniversary celebration!
@RunRestRepeat I temp every weekday morning when I get up for work at 6:30 regardless of cycle day. I don't temp on the weekends if I'm on AF or TWW, but I do temp on weekends if I'm around O or I'm getting up early for another reason. I know others on here temp every day and still others don't temp at all during AF. You'll figure out what works out best for you. For me, I don't find it stressful at all to temp every weekday but I don't want to get up early on weekends unless I might be near O.

R/R: 1) I woke up DH early this morning for BD in case today is O day, I figured morning would be better than afternoon. Even though he had warning ahead of time, he wasn't quite as into it as I thought he would be. Oh well, at least we got it in!
2) I was just thinking yesterday how well the magnesium seems to be helping in sleeping better and then I woke up every couple hours last night - I think I was afraid I would miss the alarm lol
3) Not only did I get EWCM yesterday (yay!) but there was even a very tiny bit on the TP after using the bathroom!

R/R: Sooooo tired. It was extremely hot here yesterday and the bedroom felt like it was 90 degrees. No sleeping in that heat.
CS/Q: not really. Huge temperature dip today, but it's too early to be anything.
GTKY: I thought he was too Hollywood and too cool for me. I still am the introvert/not cool one of the two of us, but it is nice now that he can be the social butterfly and I don't have to try so hard in social situations.

@hartmich Get it together husband! haha.

GTKY: What was your first impression of your DH? We met in college. He lived on the same floor as a friend of mine from Russian class. I thought he was cute! We were friends for years before we started hooking up which then became dating seriously.

I looked up the folic acid/green tea interaction @hartmich referenced and found this: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/18551467
@crystalpdx it could be spotting associated with O it could also be some irritation of your cervix from the BD. Don't count yourself out yet. I know the wait is hard but hopefully your temps over the next few days will confirm O. Don't jump down the rabbit hole
Diagnosed : unexplained infertility

@CrystalPDX I spotted during O last month, which had never happened before. Our bodies are weird!
Month/Cycle: 5/3 (2 TTCAL)
CD: 12
WAYDTGKU: BD EOD, ClearBlue Fertility Monitor, cut out coffee, RRL tea, green tea, PNV (plus Vitamin D, fish oil, magnesium, and a probiotic), meditation
R/R: Rant: At this point, almost looking forward to the TWW just so I don't have to pee on something every morning (I'm super strict about not testing until the day of AF, so I'll get a good break)! Rave: Went to Target yesterday and got so much cute stuff for the house! It's so good right now!
CS/Q: CBFM wants me to use my FMU, which I do...but I also pee at least once during the night every night. Is my FMU still good?
GTKY: What was your first impression of your DH? I encountered his writing before I met him, so I thought he was super smart and funny (and in my mind, I decided he was probably pretty cute as well!).
BFP #1: 5/16
MMC at 8 weeks: 6/16
BFP #2: 10/16
Sweet baby boy arrived 7/7/17!
@MrsN092714 I'm so sorry you had to hear that news, lady. I totally get how you feel and I wish for nothing more that anyone who wanted a baby just got one easily, and the people who don't take care of them or whatever had the struggles. Life isn't fair and I hate that.
@lulu1180 haha, I can totally related to getting excited about CM, CP, or anything related! We gotta relish the small victories!
@marybpoppins good luck with the kitchen reno!
@rainbowturtles WTF?!?! I'd be beyond angry if I were in your shoes! So sorry for the rough morning, lady.
@adirat sounds like last night was fun! Drink all the water
@berg whoop whoop! FX for a fruitful TWW!
@BertieMeetsGertie what a great anniversary! Positive OPK and everything
@wabash15 you and YH's story sounds very romantic
@zwink1 yeah, DEFINITELY the wrong time to try to get you to talk it out lol. Sorry you've been feeling so down!
@MrsN092714 Ugh, so sorry. *creepy internet hugs* Be extra kind to yourself today
Month/Cycle: 2/3
CD: 9
ETA words are hard
CD: 11
WAYDTGKU: BDing every other day, Temping, Using OPKs, Checking CM and CP
R/R: We're getting a new desk today for our study! I don't know why this is so exciting to me, but it'll be nice to actually have furniture in our empty third bedroom.
CS/Q: *Question* Do my temps look erratic thus far? I thought they were coming down, but now they seem to be rising again. Also, for those who came off BC, when did you finally start to see CM again? I feel like I have nothing and don't know if it's normal or if it means I'll O late.
GTKY: What was your first impression of your DH? I met DH in middle school! lol So, my first impression was that he was a "punk" kid. Now he's as "preppy" as they come hahahaha.
@lulu1180 I've heard green tea is wonderful for you! I would keep drinking it even after O.
@GeorgiaWife6912 I know how you feel. I've been obsessing about my chart lately too. That feature on FF causes all kinds of paranoia!
Married: November 2015
@Dilynne Hope this is helpful!
@JDW0325 I'm sorry for you loss. Have you been cleared by a doctor to try again so soon after? A lot of doctor's recommend at least one cycle for your body to have time to heal after a loss. It could also take your cycle a while to regulate.
Month/Cycle: 12/10
CD: 9
WAYDTGKU: PNV, Vit D, Gonal-f 150iu, Lupron Trigger, IUI # 5
And I did!
@adirat Thanks for the green tea info! I'm a big tea drinker and didn't even think about it - I've cut out most coffee but never considered the negative effects of tea.
Month/Cycle: 1/2
CD: 9
