I was just browsing! I have a boba so I don't know if I can justify getting a solly. I've heard they are great though and lighter weight. I'm so tempted.
@LastMango ha ... I live in Phoenix, I never wear tights (pantyhose) but I'm going to 2 weddings soon. 1 in Wisconsin and the other in Portland. Trying to figure out how to be pregnant, formal and not freeze.

I live right outside of Portland (OR)! It's still pretty warm here. When is the wedding?
Im going camping this weekend. I planned this trip when I was about 8 weeks pregnant. Now I am realizing that sleeping on the ground in second tri is going to suck. And it's supposed to rain tonight. Wish me luck!
@ThePax89 for potty training? we are 9 days into it and she's doing so well. The first 4 days were so so hard. I'm following "oh crap potty training" book and once you start you commit to giving up diapers so short outings, bringing the potty, and commando for a month. It's intense but she's getting it and I'm so proud of her!
@ThePax89 she was always taking off her diaper or telling us she was wet or had a poo poo. She was interested in the toilet. I just would way rather do it now than with a newborn because I probably would put it off until she's almost three. I feel like now she has my undivided attention, which is required with the method I'm doing. It's stressful though!
So I found the most random kids book at a thrift store today. At first based on the cover I thought it was going to be about a badly behaved child who through the power of discipline learns the error of his ways....nope! So I turned the page and it got even betterthis convinced me to buy the book but I still don't know what they do about Andrew. I figured DH and I can read it to Sam later tonight and find out together lol.
why aren't more kids books ridiculous like this any more? I need lots of wimsy and bizarreness in my children's literature!
I need H to get with the program. I sent him a few crib and dresser options today, and he really wants a fixed side crib. We did one for DD, and I find it annoying and huge, so I chose a really modern one that is symmetrical and lower profile. He doesn't like it, but instead likes one that are just as huge and annoying as DDs. UGH!
So had a pregnancy moment I just had to share today. My AC in my car is out and it's still 90 plus degrees here for some horrible reason. So I got caught in afternoon traffic on the way home, I'm guzzling water because I'm so hot. I walk in the door to my house, strip off all my clothes, and announce to my cats "I'm hot! My belly itches!" And collapse on the couch. God bless the poor women who are due in summertime.
Lol does anyone else find this to be an odd picture to pair with the given headline? Lol is this supposed to be a bunch of tiny hemmorhoids around a butthole? Do donuts cause or prevent hemmorhoids? What were they trying to convey here?
@ceclarlinetlo BAHAHAHA that's amazing! I'm assuming maybe because sitting on a donut pillow can help relieve the pain? Still, that photo is a stretch!
I haven't been on the board much this week due to being busy.... I suddenly feel like there are all these new members I don't know!!!
Anyway, speaking of hemorrhoids. I had a co-worker ask my boss if I have hemorrhoids because of the extra cushion I sit on at work...... lol. No ma'am.
@HJMorgan omg! If they were really wondering, why didn't they just ask you? Yeah, it's inappropriate, but you could have really terrified your coworker!

What?!! Umm a) NOT THEIR BUSINESS and b) why the heck would she think your boss would know?
@shlecka I did the same thing at Motherhood Maternity. I bought 5 pairs two weeks ago and I went back last week for 5 more pairs. I feel like they'll be so much more comfortable after L&D and now I don't have to worry about ruining my cute VS underwear. My only regret is waiting as long as I did!
@aishmc@karaelaine1991 She's an older lady and just one of those blunt 'matter of fact types'..... So I just kinda let it go. Her response was "wwell hey, that's just one of those things that goes with pregnancy! So I just assumed!" Lol.
It just dawned on me today that I have less than 14 weeks till I get to meet my little guy. Suddenly that doesn't sound like enough time to get things done! I still have to organize the nursery, finish buying a ton of baby stuff. With thanksgiving and Christmas coming up I just feel like I've waited too long and now I can't catch up. With four boys already at home and holidays hosted at my house I'm freaking out! Anyone else feeling the pressure to get things done or am I just over reacting? (Serious possibility lol)
@raquel87 I had a similar realization this morning (I technically have 16 weeks but I'm shooting for 14). I promptly called DH and told him he needed to get off work early tomorrow and paint the nursery. I feel mostly prepared, stuff wise, because we already had a baby girl, but mentally? That's a whole different story.
@raquel87 yes, I can definitely relate & I'm only hosting thanksgiving! It's just scary cuz the end of the year always flys by with the holidays. I feel like there's so much going on and baby will be here in no time! Trying to keep lots of lists ad take it day by day.
Re: Randoms 9/1
If by tights you mean pantyhose, eff that noise.
