Nothing specific, we did finally pick a date for the baby shower though.
Rants / Raves / Symptoms / Questions:
I've been in a funk for over a month now, and I'm just ready to get back to myself. Just tired all the time.

24 weeks, baby is "viable" now but doc says best to keep cooking for a good bit so I guess we will. My husband finally got to feel a little kick last night. Been trying for a few weeks.
What are you doing this week to prepare for your LO's arrival?
I guess just shower stuff- I think all I need to do for it is make sure my sister has the addresses she needs. Beyond that I'm letting her just do whatever she wants pretty much.
Rants / Raves / Symptoms / Questions:
Still lots of heartburn in the evenings and I'm afraid it'll just be getting worse. Doc said if Zantac doesn't do enough I could switch to Prilosec. I'm trying to hold out as long as I can.
When's your next appointment?
Oct 24- Glucose challenge and reg. appt. Probably TDAP booster too.
GTKY (stole from Tuesday): What type of home do you live in? own/rent? Is it your forever home?
We rent in a duplex. It is not our forever home. We love the area but could never afford to buy here. Not sure where we will end up, but we're good for now.
What's new with your little babe this week? How far along are you? 25 weeks and kicking up a storm. Size of a cauliflower/prairie dog this week.
What are you doing this week to prepare for your LO's arrival? Got a few cute newborn outfits from HM. Love their baby clothes! I'm also trying to finish up DDs baby book. She's almost 2 and I've slacked so much on it. I'm really bad about keeping up with it and it stresses me out.
Rants / Raves / Symptoms / Questions: pretty sure this baby is going to rip my public bones apart. I'm prepared for that.
When's your next appointment? oct 19 glucose and 28 week check up.
GTKY (stole from Tuesday): What type of home do you live in? own/rent? Is it your forever home? we own our townhouse in the burbs. It's definitely not out forever home. We want a yard and a 4th bedroom. Hopefully in the next few years!
What's new with your little babe this week? How far along are you? 26 weeks!
What are you doing this week to prepare for your LO's arrival? Finally ordered a rocker and ottoman for the nursery! Still narrowing down the dresser choices.
Rants / Raves / Symptoms / Questions: So we had our first little FTM freak out. Starting Tuesday afternoon, I started having a lot of pressure and some Braxton hicks. They got a little closer together when I laid down for bed and Baby wasn't kicking much like he normally does, but I fell asleep. Then today, continued pressure and no good morning kicks like I normally wake up to. Had a few sporadic kicks during the work day. After a half day at work, I ate lunch and laid down. Still no kicks. Normally this baby dances around anytime I eat and lay down. So we ended up going in to get put on the monitor. Which of course, baby HATED and immediately did the dancing around I'd been waiting for for two days! The nurse seemed super annoyed we came in, but it was worth it to see his heartbeat and feel him moving around again. Although she told us that unless I'm bleeding or think my water broke, not to come back in! Rude! I can't be the only one who's come in for this.
When's your next appointment? October 11th
GTKY (stole from Tuesday): What type of home do you live in? own/rent? Is it your forever home? We own. This is our first home purchase, but definitely not our forever place. It's in a small starter neighborhood and we'd like more property in our permanent place.
I'm 23 weeks today. Time keeps ticking by slowly. I'm feeling lots more kicks, and I have started to be able to feel the stronger ones from the outside.
What are you doing this week to prepare for your LO's arrival?
I haven't done anything yet. I'm hoping to make progress on turning to guest room into our new playroom on Saturday.
Rants / Raves / Symptoms / Questions:
TMI here but my groin area hurts these last couple of days. It feels like I've pulled a muscle, but I've done no exercise that would have pulled anything. It particularly hurts to go from sitting to standing, and I walk a little weird until I get loosened up.
Morning sickness has been much better the last week or so. Heartburn just seems to be getting worse unfortunately.
When's your next appointment?
I go Oct. 4 for a regular checkup. They'll schedule my glucose test and next ultrasound then. I'll get to see LO again at 28 weeks.
GTKY (stole from Tuesday): What type of home do you live in? own/rent? Is it your forever home?
We live in a brick house on my family farm. It was my grandparent's home and was passed down to us. We remodeled it and moved in a couple of years ago. It's our forever home.
25 weeks!
What are you doing this week to prepare for your LO's arrival?
Not much - we've made a little progress on the nursery. Grandmas are working on her wardrobe, haha.
Rants / Raves / Symptoms / Questions:
I'm getting consistent kicking, but she likes to hang out really low down and basically trample on my bladder and kick my cervix. This also makes it difficult for anyone but me to feel her kick.
When's your next appointment?
Early October - I should probably check the exact date.
GTKY (stole from Tuesday): What type of home do you live in? own/rent? Is it your forever home?
We live in a single family home and we own it. We bought it last year with plans for it to be our forever home. We will probably put an addition on it somewhere down the road, but it is a good fit for our family.
