appreciate it ladies!! I just had my boss put where I was registered and went online and took off the things I didn't really need. Another reason other than the age gap that we are having a shower for my 2nd child is we had a fire 2 years ago and lost pretty much everything, so definitely starting from scratch with this one!! I agree @eribeau that the gifts are more for the baby and even if its just a diaper shower people like to celebrate a new life!!
We had a diaper shower this last weekend. I made my husband open half the gifts, because it was more of his party, despite it being mostly women there. We still have our baby shower coming up October 22, but I'm due November 10 and feel like maybe that's super late? My sisters first shower was October 5, she was due the 16, and my niece was born the 6. Am I waiting too long for the bigger shower you think?
