Pregnant women should wear a sign saying that they are pregnant so that I can belly bump them without the fear of totally mistakingly calling someone pregnant who isn't.
My UO: I don't mind that stores already have Christmas decorations out. I love Christmas and when I have a big place I can decorate, I would love to have everything before the season starts so I can straight into decoration mode. Besides, I've been seeing Halloween and fall decorations since July, so it only makes sense for Christmas stuff to come out 2 months later.

@emy730 high five! It's rare if my hair isn't up and unless it's date night out or some other special occasion I rarely have make up on.
Along the lines of Christmas stuff, I refuse to decorate for Christmas until after thanksgiving! I will however buy gifts months in advance if I see a good deal on something but no tree or anything until Black Friday.
One year, my mom had the whole house decked out for Christmas by Nov. 2nd. Her reasoning was she's British and Thanksgiving isn't a thing in England, so she doesn't need to wait. A friend described our house as Christmas had thrown up inside it. I tend to wait until after Thanksgiving LOL.

I think a plain colored Lularoe Irma (or similar type top) with patterned leggings look like pajamas. Ok for running errands and day to day stuff but not acceptable as business attire. I do agree it is very comfortable and love my leggings, just not going to wear them to work.

LOL that's totally what I'm wearing at work today! If I worked in an office that wasn't casual, I would never dream of wearing them to work, but I do, so I wear them often
@emy730 I totally agree, in the appropriate settings its great. We just have a business attire dress code and I'm shocked by how many people find that appropriate. And it does remind me of pajamas but that doesn't stop me from wearing it For some reason I have a different opinion if the top is patterned and the leggings are solid, no idea why it looks different to me but it does.

I think that tends to look a little more professional, so I totally agree with that.
I'm in the "Christmas as soon as possible" camp. Taking down the Christmas tree always makes me sad, last year I procrastinated so much that we just decided to leave it up. It's a foot tall, so you can barely notice it anyway. And last month I was feeling a little blue, so I decided to celebrate an early Christmas. By the time I got home, my husband had decorated the rest of the house and wrapped some presents that he bought at the dollar store
also! Love Christmas-time because I get to drink eggnog lattes, which probably warrant an UO post all by themselves. I know they're expensive and borderline gross, but OMG I LOVE THEM!
@karaelaine1991 that's me too. I'm an only but DH is the youngest of 6. We've discussed 4 with a definite option for 5/6.
DH is from a family of 4 so he wants 4 exactly haha. I'm more of the "let's see what happens" mindset; I don't really have a set number in mind, I just know that, in my opinion, the more the merrier!
I'm the oldest of 6, and would love to have 4 or 5. My husband says he only wants 2, but I think we can compromise on at least 3. If I was a little younger I'd definitely be pushing for more
@BAJDesigns I hear you. We always said 3 or more kids. My pregnancies are pretty rough on me, not high risk of anything scary, but just really sick. Now we say one at a time.

One at a time is where I'm at. I reallllly want one more and can't fathom this being the last....but I'm also terrified of the transition to two. So one at a time, I say!
I said 3 when we got married. H said 2. After a difficult first pregnancy, I was done at 1, but surprise here comes number 2. We're definitely done this time, and we'll make it permanent. I feel too old to do this again, and I have difficult pregnancies.
I was always open to 2-4, H said 2 (never be outnumbered!), we were going to settle for 1 when it cost us a year's salary to get pregnant but SURPRISE there's 2 and we're done and thank god because I will never willingly experience this level of sickness again.
(he says the same about pets- doesn't want to be outnumbered- but I get around that with up to 2 of each species)
@TinaBelcher holy shit to a years salary. And amen to not being fond of signing up to feel like death for a minimum of 12 weeks. (And that's if you are lucky)
My husband said that if this baby was a boy (we have a girl already) that he would be happy and done...so I hoped for a second girl. In my heart, I won't feel complete before 3. Maybe I'll change my mind once #2 comes. I also told him, and he completely agrees, that if we lose another pregnancy while ttc#3, we may have to tap out.
We always said at least 2 and we would see after that. So here we are number 2, and although it makes me kind of sad im leabing towards being done. This pregnancy has been tougher than my first and the thought of going through this again with 2 little ones scares the crap out of me. I also thought if this one was another boy I would for sure want a third in hopes of maybe having a baby girl, but I'm totally loving the idea of all boys right now!
We will still wait a couple of years before we decide on either a 3rd or making some permanent fixes to remain a family of 4.

This is basically where we're at as well. I was leaning toward one and done, and then this little guy surprised us. I don't do pregnant very well, so this is definitely it and we'll take permanent measures to ensure that!
I have always thought I would have multiple children and my fiancee agrees with 2 or 3. I will be 23 when this baby is born & my fiancee will be 28. Yes, the timing of this pregnancy was a surprise, but I knew soon after our wedding (which is in May 2017) we would have tried to get pregnant. So I guess it was not really a "surprise" (I hate that term but ya know what I mean). Is this weird that I don't want to be in my thirties and have no baby around? My mom had me and then my brother 8 years later. I definitely do not want to wait 8 years for baby #2, though. I am open-minded at this point.

@ThePax89 Shoes inside here sometimes. Trick I learned when first reading about the Flylady method of house organization/cleaning etc, getting dressed to lace-up shoes in the morning makes you more productive during the day. I totally do NOT do this lol, but on the days that I DID put shoes on I totally did way more around the house lol.
Shoes on furniture is a no no in our house, and on the bed?! NO WAY!
New UO: what the hell would behoove people to A. Wear shoes inside the house? B. Put shoes on furniture or on a bed!!!!!!?
We wear shoes inside a lot, mainly because we just forget to take them off after we've been out. I've been trying to work on getting all of us to stop doing that though because it really tracks dirt around the house. DH has no interest in really making the change, though... old habits die hard, I guess. For DD, it's a lot easier to wear them inside, because we have hardwood floors throughout and she slips a lot more when she's just wearing socks. None of us put shoes on furniture, though.

Nothing gives me more anxiety than when someone wears shoes in my house. Everyone that comes over pretty much knows I am anal about it. There is so much bacteria on the bottom of shoes, and to think I have babies crawling around on that same floor. I have a nice reminder sign to take off shoes, and all of my kids' friends know my rule, so yea, I share this same UO!

I never know what to do when I'm at people's houses! My mom always taught me not to take my shoes off unless I was invited to do so because she didn't want us to appear like we were overstepping as guests or something - making ourselves too comfortable I guess? The only exception was if it was raining or muddy outside so we didn't obviously track mud/dirt into people's homes. But I know a lot of people prefer to have shoes off for the reasons you've stated. So I'm always clueless unless someone asks me to take them off or has a sign like you do haha
I had taking my shoes off when you enter someone's home drilled into my head as a child. My dad does hardwood flooring, and my entire house growing up had hardwood floors. He did not play around about no shoes in the house on his hard work!
We are a shoes off inside household. I grew up that way and am married to a plumber (hello, gross, nasty, take your shoes off outside please) but my in-laws totally wear their shoes in the house all the time and they have cows! Who knows what kind of nasty cow bacteria is on your shoes!?
When I come home, my shoes are the first thing to come off. I hate wearing shoes. If I could wear flip flops at work, I would every single day (I've definitely used the, "Oh I'm pregnant and my feet are kinda swelling so I need flip flops today" excuse a few times. It was glorious). But, I'm very self conscious about my feet smelling (childhood trauma, was the only kid at the sitter's house forced to wear shoes all the time because she said my feet were too smelly to take them off, probably helped encourage my hatred of shoes), so I don't usually take my shoes off at others' homes unless I'm very comfortable with them.

No shoes in our house either! My husband and I both work in a hospital and I don't want those gross shoes in my house. In the time I spent in Europe last year - almost every AirBnB we rented had house slippers for guests to use. I might adopt this strategy once the baby comes to get the point across.

@susykat77 I love that idea of house slippers for guests. My biggest problem is that over the summer when I don't wear socks with my sandals or slipons, I feel really weird walking through strangers houses without anything on my feet. I'm not a stickler for taking shoes off in our house, DS keeps his on, mine usually come off when I hit the door but more for comfort. I tend to lean towards taking my shoes off or asking at people's houses but if I'm going somewhere and know I will be taking my shoes off and am not wearing socks, I often bring my own slippers or socks.
