I haven't heard of that, but I try not to pay attention to things like that, as I feel you can find a negative in anything you research. You do what is best for you.

AFM-I had my ER this morning. Everything went well. My RE ended up getting 13 follies, so 1 more than the 12 she was estimating on Monday. It just goes to show you never know what small ones will get bigger within a couple days. FX that at least 1/4 fertilize and make it to day 5. My Transfer will on Monday 9.19 at 12:30. EEEK...getting excited.
That's great numbers!!! I think you'll have at least 8 that make it to day 5! Ahhh so exciting! Keep us posted tomorrow how many fertilize!

@Hopeful_mom so glad you have a frozen sample! I know that has been stressful. I, too, have a follicle that's bigger than the rest. My re is still thinking 4-5 follicles, so don't lose hope. You may still get 4-6. I'm thinking of them as my 5 "golden eggs."

So my results are in. It's 22.3 which I'm so devasted. I don't understand how it can be so low. My nurse said she has seen cases where it gets higher and sometimes she doesn't. It really depends on Saturdays blood work. Ugh I don't understand this at all and I'm just so upset.

@kp214 I feel you on just hoping i can get all the ones i have currently to keep on growing right now. I have to be prepared that my next appt i'm not going to have another 10 in waiting...if only ha!! I'm on the highest dosages of the meds so its not like theyre going to adjust anything, i just have to hope i dont ov....i have one big one but my levels were still low luckily. Are you hoping to transfer after this or do another round?

@LSatturo126 don't lose hope! Mine wasnt as high as I expected either. It is all about how it rises, not where it starts. There are some of us who have been here from the beginning cheering you on and some new faces who joined in later who are just as happy for you. Then there are others... Afm I decided to go ahead with the PGS testing this upcoming cycle. Thank you for all of the input! Now I'm just praying that everything looks okay to start this month and that I have at least one or more normal embryos. My doctor said it will probably take about 8 weeks after the retrieval until the transfer... Did anyone of you have to wait that long? I expected it to be long but not 8 more weeks!
@Hopeful_mom we are thinking of retrieving then letting them grow to day 5. Any that make it that far, we want to send for pgd, then start another cycle with stims. I hope all works out for you. Try to not stress.

Hi all i know i lve been quiet bit here js my issues ive been on 7 days of stims and i went for my bw and us yesturday only 4 follies 1@22mm which is the dominant one 2@17mm and 1 @10mm she upped my dose of menapur to to two vials from 1 vial and im o 300 iu follistim im also on ganaralix too to prevent ovulation im conflicted to what to do do i cancel a d start over i only have one shot at this as im all oop
another concern is this Anyone know what the estrogen level should be at a certain point on 7 days of stims mine was 285 i feel thats low i have low amh so idk jow that works ive read 150-200 is per mature follicle im assuming my 22mm is mature the other 3 not yet bur its rising ugh what a mess i dont feel confident with going forward i might as well cancel my own cycle and start over i feel like i can get more with more aggressive doses idk im not a doctor though i think i will call today and request to speak to the re? Any thoughts

@kp214 my re originally told me 10 so I just feel like I should be doing better. There are 3 factors for DOR and she mentioned I just have the low AMH, so maybe she thought I would respond better. This time instead of starting off with 2 powders I'm doing 4 and almost have the same results. Tomorrow I have US AND BW so hioe fully a couple of more follies will join the party, I kno it only takes one but I would love twins at this point. I kno I'm being greedy

Not sure how this is possible but my US today was worse then my baseline, I just left the dr office and I went from having 3 follies on the right to just one at about 20, and I have 2 very small ones on the left so those didn't grow. I went from maybe 4/6 to 1, how is that even possible. I just feel so defeated!! And of course angry at OH as last month was better and he screwed that up. I was trying to be better and say everything happens for a reason and this cycle will be even better. I didn't think with the meds I'm on it would still be this poor will probably convert to an IUI, can't spend all of this money on maybe a chance at one. Will wait to hear from the dr.

@Hopeful_mom sorry to hear that. I know it sucks to wait, but if I was you, I'd hold off on ER too. At my baseline I had 6 & 4 follies and ended up with 2 & 2 @ ER. For some reason, it can decrease.

@capps42613 I'm just disappointed and feel like it's always against me. It's cause I finally have a frozen sample that my body is crapping out on me. I thank you so much for sharing the info. I just thought I would at least have 4 or 5, and to see just one, I got that with just taking Clomid. It's very disheartening! They were all mature after ER? Sorry I don't remember as in sure I've mentioned it.

My dr actually just called me which was very nice of her, I'm glad she took the time as I don't always think she's the warmest of Drs. And on Monday the head guy will be doing my scan to make sure what's what, which is good. The last scan did show 3 follies on the right and they're not there anymore, she looked at the scan herself too so it's a guessing game as to what happened....to kno I was on my way to five and now 2 is upsetting. She did say that the large one they're not looking at which means more stemming to see where this cycle goes...so it's still a waiting game. She also agreed if it's not at least 3/4 she wouldn't suggest doing ER. Which make me sad just as we all wanted a baby like yesterday...at least I'm still in it, but not really feeling all that hopeful...I need to have a serious chat with these ovaries and see what is going on!!

@Hopeful_mom I think the baseline shows how many potential eggs you have but they don't all grow or respond to the meds hence the lower number after stims. I think it's quite normal to have more at baseline. Not that that makes it any easier. I hope more pop up Monday
Afm, this cycle was a bust no ovulated early despite being on Ganirelix. I'm wondering if I can start estrogen priming Monday since I've ovulated and that takes a few weeks anyway.

AFM-The nurse called again today with an update. 3 follies made it to 8 cell, all AA qaulity; 1 at 10 cell, 1 at 6 cell. Transfer on Monday. FX! I would like to transfer 2 if at all possible, but would be thrilled with one!
@Kp214 try ganirelix three days before your period, that's what my dr did cuz I ovulate at 7 days normally and that slowed me down along with gonal f and Lupron and menupur

@kp214 I feel you on just hoping i can get all the ones i have currently to keep on growing right now. I have to be prepared that my next appt i'm not going to have another 10 in waiting...if only ha!! I'm on the highest dosages of the meds so its not like theyre going to adjust anything, i just have to hope i dont ov....i have one big one but my levels were still low luckily. Are you hoping to transfer after this or do another round?

Afm I decided to go ahead with the PGS testing this upcoming cycle. Thank you for all of the input! Now I'm just praying that everything looks okay to start this month and that I have at least one or more normal embryos. My doctor said it will probably take about 8 weeks after the retrieval until the transfer... Did anyone of you have to wait that long? I expected it to be long but not 8 more weeks!

another concern is this Anyone know what the estrogen level should be at a certain point on 7 days of stims mine was 285 i feel thats low i have low amh so idk jow that works ive read 150-200 is per mature follicle im assuming my 22mm is mature the other 3 not yet bur its rising ugh what a mess i dont feel confident with going forward i might as well cancel my own cycle and start over i feel like i can get more with more aggressive doses idk im not a doctor though i think i will call today and request to speak to the re? Any thoughts

Not sure how this is possible but my US today was worse then my baseline, I just left the dr office and I went from having 3 follies on the right to just one at about 20, and I have 2 very small ones on the left so those didn't grow. I went from maybe 4/6 to 1, how is that even possible. I just feel so defeated!! And of course angry at OH as last month was better and he screwed that up. I was trying to be better and say everything happens for a reason and this cycle will be even better. I didn't think with the meds I'm on it would still be this poor

@Hopeful_mom. I would def wait till another cycle... All that money for 1 egg isn't worth it. You'll get a better cycle trust me.

@LSatturo126 great news! How many betas does your clinic do? Mine did 3. The u/s wait was even harder for me than the TWW just because I wanted to know how many implanted lol.

My dr actually just called me which was very nice of her, I'm glad she took the time as I don't always think she's the warmest of Drs. And on Monday the head guy will be doing my scan to make sure what's what, which is good. The last scan did show 3 follies on the right and they're not there anymore, she looked at the scan herself too so it's a guessing game as to what happened....to kno I was on my way to five and now 2 is upsetting. She did say that the large one they're not looking at which means more stemming to see where this cycle goes...so it's still a waiting game. She also agreed if it's not at least 3/4 she wouldn't suggest doing ER. Which make me sad just as we all wanted a baby like yesterday...at least I'm still in it, but not really feeling all that hopeful...I need to have a serious chat with these ovaries and see what is going on!!

@Hopeful_mom I think the baseline shows how many potential eggs you have but they don't all grow or respond to the meds hence the lower number after stims. I think it's quite normal to have more at baseline. Not that that makes it any easier. I hope more pop up Monday

AFM-The nurse called again today with an update. 3 follies made it to 8 cell, all AA qaulity; 1 at 10 cell, 1 at 6 cell. Transfer on Monday. FX! I would like to transfer 2 if at all possible, but would be thrilled with one!
