+1 for cramps, just started on and off yesterday but not too bad (yet). TBH I was kind of excited about it since I feel like it means things are happening down there
@books&icecream I'm not saying your doctor is wrong but I don't think swelling that quickly and to that extent is normal for pregnant women or caused by heat. With my last pregnancy, I worked outside, 40 hours a week, in the 90+ degree humid summer heat in the south, until I was 38 weeks, and didn't swell one time. I've also had swelling in my legs and feet the last couple of days and I haven't even left the house. I would keep an eye on that, especially since you've already had protein in your urine.
Another for the cramps. And I keep getting random quick pains in my stomach, but they go away quickly so I don't think they're contractions. Was just at the dr this morning and of course that didn't start until a little bit ago. I think he's just running out of room!

My ribs/sides are also cramped. Like you know when you sleep in a weird position or sit too long and have to adjust? I feel like that all of the time thanks to this baby running out of space, lol.
Also, my appetite has increased but now there's less room in my stomach so I can't eat as much because when I do I feel sick but when I don't, I'm still hungry. Part of me is okay with feeling sick lol
I've had some pretty quick swelling, depending on what I was doing/how I was sitting. DH and I learned we can't eat at the bar in restaurants any more because my legs dangling in the bar stools lead to severe swelling.
I just had my first sweat attack. I'm a pretty sweaty person by nature (attractive) but I got back from lunch and sat at my desk to lead a conference call and suddenly was overcome by sweat. I had to shove tissues down my dress because it was pooling in my bra. It was awful.

Foot in ribs! Foot in ribs!! OMG it hurts so bad!!
I feel this way except with his head in my hip! Apparently LO is crooked and hasn't straightened out yet. When I had to lay back on the table and the dr basically groped around his head in my hip OW. I actually grabbed her arm it hurt so bad.
Sitting at work has become so uncomfortable that I had to raid the supply closet for an empty box to put my feet up on under my desk. I'm sure there are better solutions than using what is essentially garbage but I needed the instant relief!
@ibabyloveb87@MRSCORKER Good idea! I knew buying that $5 step stool at IKEA 4 years ago would come in handy someday And it will look less trashy than an empty box!
@AllyTheKid I've been fighting this cold since last Tuesday (seriously kill me now!!) and my OB said anything under the Tyenol brand is safe to take while pregnant, which includes Tyenol cold (I made sure to specifically ask) - she said take something, don't suffer! <--- my new
@LauraPCOS@AllyTheKid I have a cold too. I've only felt sick since yesterday but it is making me miserable. I wish that I could just stay in bed and rest, but I feel guilty taking time off work.
@LauraPCOS@ball4768 I'm going to go some Tylenol Cold then! I hate feeling so cruddy, FI called me at 3 and told me he's been vomiting all day today now too, GREAT. I swear if I get sick like that on top of the cold he gave me I am beating this man... Yesterday was his birthday, so in my mind I'm thinking "I make you homemade banana nut bread and give you TWO bj's in one day, and all you give me is a cold?!" Ha

I think each body is different. Heat makes me swell pretty quickly when I'm not pregnant....
Have anyone felt like your legs are weaker, like when you do spinning or squats and then go downstairs?.... That has happened to me like twice.....
This usually happens to me when I'm dehydrated. Drink a bottle of water and I bet you'll feel better. It helps literally every time this happens to me while pregnant
So since the doc said anytime now at yesterday's appointment. I'm very much more aware of everything going on with my body. Not that i wasn't aware befire. But her choice of words kinda has me paranoid about all my symptoms now

And that's understandable. I was referring more to the fact she said she watched it swell up and then it jiggled when she walked or whatever lol. That seems a little intense.
I went to the store today and walked past "Simply Limeade" and for some reason, I HAD to have it. Only, I wanted it sparkling so I mixed it with club soda. It's delicious but now I have fire breathing dragon level heart burn.

With DD, I swelled pretty quickly. And I too could literally see the retained water pockets jiggling on my legs and feet, and I looked like I had elephantitus of the lower appendages. No pre-E, just unfortunate looking swelling. So I would say it can in fact be normal, it was for me anyway.

While I would in no way call it NORMAL, the doctor really did evaluate everything and, at least for me, it's not anything dangerous - just very uncomfortable!
I woke up with a serious contraction last night. Just one. But it hurt bad enough that I woke up DH. Then it went away and nothing else happened. So weird.

@AllyTheKid - you should tell your FI every day that he's so lucky to have you. I don't know the last time DH got a BJ, except maybe as a start to the main event, after a night of drinking.
@MRSCORKER - I don't even like limeade but I had the same thought when I saw a cute bottle of it at the grocery store. Although I'm not adding club soda to it. I guess I like it while pregnant.

@MorganL925 It's not something I've ever bought before but I was at a place the other day for lunch that had house made Vanilla Bean Limeade and for some reason, it sounded amazing and it was. Now it's all I want but it's like adding fuel to the heartburn flames!

@MorganL925 Well apparently the word today is his birthday sucked, I don't know how to make him feel special, and he doesn't want the banana nut bread I made him. I wish it were somehow possible to take those BJ's back. Freakin' brat... you're 34, you want me to take you to Chuck-E-Cheeze or something? Shit...
It's my DH's birthday today and he's out of town. I'm not even sure his gift I ordered will be here by the time he gets home. Whoooooops. Tell your FI that he could have a wife who is more slack
