Ugh, just POAS and it was negative :(
pretty bummed. I guess I shouldn't count myself out, but it isn't a good feeling.

Anyway, here's a pic of my test. I dare someone to report it

You crack me up but it's def not over,,, you're suppose to test when you first wake up silly!! Especially since it's so early. I'm sure if I peed on a stick right now it wouldn't come up with a line. Try in the AM.

Married my best friend in 2013 (I was 33), After 1.5yrs of TTC got my first BFP naturally on 2/7/15 but ended in DNC on 4/14/15, not viable. In 2015 I was 35...Found out I had only one working ovary, which was DOR, with scar tissue and I ovulated at 7 days, with a small cervix opening and a tilted uterus... Needing an RE was a must.....IUI#1 Sept 2015,,, BFN IUI#2 Oct 2015,,,BFN IUI#3 Dec 2015,,BFN IVF#1 2/1/16- BFN IVF# on 3/29/16 retrieval only - 1 healthy chromosome tested embryo. IVF#3 retrieval 4/23/16- 0 healthy embryos. IVF#4 retrieval 6/17/16- 1 healthy embryo. FET#1-Transferred Both Healthy Embryos on 9/6/16 BFP!! 9/15/16 Beta 22.3, 9/17/16 Beta 60.5 & 9/19/16 Beta 195! 1st US on 9/23/16, only 1 Gast Sac & Yolk Sac found, US 9/30/16 US 6wk 1day saw and heard Heartbeat 120bpm!! EDD 5/25/2017 Had a healthy baby girl via CSection on 5/18/17 8lbs 15oz. Then four months later got pregnant naturally and had a healthy baby boy on 6/13/18 7lbs 6oz (at age 38). Needless to say, anything is possible! I'm keeping my signature open so it gives someone out there hope that anything is possible. Message me if you ever have any questions or just need someone to talk to. DON'T GIVE UP!

  • @FatPony oh bummer... But maybe still too early! Lol at that pic, actually laughed out loud at work!!

@LSatturo126 I liked the photo and I'm sorry that someone reported it. I hope that doesn't deter others to post their good news or enquirers about tests!!!

I did a blood test to check progesterone levels this morning and they were 38, which is good they said. all set for transfer on Thursday. Starting to get excited. I feel like my hopes are high because my dr said she expects this one to work and I really don't want to come crashing down if it doesn't. Attempting to remain relaxed...
  • Thanks! In a way I am happy to think I have pinpointed a possible problem.  I was on pios for two days after transfer, then switched.  So it makes sense it took and then stopped...at least in my head it does.  I will talk with the nurse about it tomorrow.  I am pretty sure 6 is the bottom cutoff of low, so it was def low at my beta, but fine two days after transfer when I was on pios.  Dang.  At least it could be a reason. Well, from this I learned I will always choose shots over cream.  I will not find out the genders if I ever do a retrieval again, and I will not poas.

@FatPony. I feel like it is early for you right?  It's not over yet!
    Me: 41  DH: 44  DD: 9
    IVF: ER 7/16 40 follies, 23 eggs, 19 mature,
    12 fert w/icsi, 6 blasts, 3 PGS norm, 1 unknown.

    FET: 9/1/16 transferred 1 CP beta 5.9
    FET 2: 11/15/16 transferred 1 CP again!
    FET 3: TBD

  • @FatPony First, LOL.  Second, don't count yourself out yet.  Most do not see positives this early!

This progesterone conversation is interesting and makes me kind of worried.  My clinic won't check my progesterone before transfer.  Maybe they will AT transfer?  We know it was super low on Friday (before I started the PIOs) but now I don't even go back until the day of my transfer.  I'd kind of like to know that all is okay before they thaw my beautiful little embryo.

  • @mjacks16 and @AMP_slp good luck today!! Thinking extra sticky vibes for you both!! Will either of you be testing at home before your beta?
  • Still a BFN
  • @wifeinraleigh28 I am sorry!  I didn't mean to plant a worry!  Don't worry!  My office said they don't even track progesterone during the early phase.  I am really just grasping at straws for why this didnt work.  I got my second beta today and they said they will chat with me when they call with the results this afternoon.

Great vibes to @mjacks16, and @APM_SLP

@FatPony I am still not giving up hope yet.  Hang in there.

@FatPony maybe yours takes a little longer with their protocol. They have a 2 ww and mine is 9 days. Wait for your beta day! Don't give up hope! Remember I also had two put in and if both took maybe I just have more hcg in my system to show early. Xoxo

@apm_slp @mjacks16 best of luck today! Sending positive and sticky thoughts!!!

  • @wifeinraleigh28 my clinic doesn't do any blood work after transfer before beta. My last blood work was the day I started PIO! I've never questioned it but maybe I should! And yup, our betas will be on the same day!! It's my nephews 5th birthday that day so I'm hoping that's a good sign!! Less than two weeks!

AFM I decided to take today and tomorrow off. That transfer yesterday exhausted me for some reason and it felt so nice to sleep in today. definitely more crampy than last time which I'm going to believe is the little bean starting to settle in!
  • @bells52000 Thursday!!! I'm super excited but nervous it's not real till they confirm it. How you holding up?

@mtpbadger so this is my second transfer and my first I wasn't really tired I just chilled in bed. This time around we came home and I couldn't keep my eyes open that I went to bed and passed out for six hrs!!! Woke up at midnight and then went back to sleep by 2am and woke up at 7am like I slept for two days lmao now I know it's cuz of the implantation. And I've been fatigued everyday since transfer. Hoping that's the same great news for you. And remember everyone is different but your case might be similar lol

  • @lsatturo126 that's how I feel! Couldn't keep my eyes open on the hour car ride home and then came home and napped for another 2 hours and was still in bed early. Last time I took the day following off and was going stir crazy. This time I'm looking forward to tomorrow off again already!! Hopefully it means things are working the way they are supposed to!
  • @wifeinraleigh28.... A transfer is a transfer.  Frozen or Fresh, it shouldn't matter when a woman is seeking support from other women.  Thanks for deleting our numbers.  I will find the other group and gladly remove myself from this one.

TTC since April 2015- low AMH, low Morphology
    Clomid~ Feb2016-Apr2016, BFN x 3
    Natural ovulation IUI June2016, BFN
IVF #1 08/26/2016- 4 eggs mature, 4 fertilized normally, 1 made it to transfer
Fresh Transfer 08/31/2016, BFP.. Miscarriage 17dp5dt
IVF results were hard to handle, wanted to attempt IUI a few more times
Medicated IUI (Gonal-F, Ovidrel trigger) Oct2016
    BFP 10/20/2016!!!! Beta 1 (10dpiui) 16.9: Beta 2 (11dpiui) 42.23: Beta 3 (14dpiui) 282

    BabyFruit Ticker
  • @BabyBuckWay I think that is a little too harsh of a reaction. There is a big difference prep wise between frozen and fresh, and to be honest, you will probably get more support via the IVF thread than in this one, since with FET they aren't going through the Stims..which to me can be much more invasive initially. I hope you find the support you are looking for elsewhere. I am sorry about your your results and wish you the best with your numbers now and in the future.

@mjacks16 and @APM_SLP Today is your day!!!  GL girls and enjoy your relaxation time today after your transfers!!!

@bells52000 Oh no, it wasn't you that planted a worry!  I'm just seeing that others are receiving progesterone monitoring prior to transfer, but not me.  I guess I just need to have faith in my clinic, right?  I hope you receive some closure with that call this afternoon.  *hugs*

@mtpbadger Glad my clinic isn't the only one that does it this way!  Glad you decided to take these 2 days off.  Our bodies need to rest after this! :)

@FatPony Thought I would share this chart, and seeing as you are 7dpt, it makes sense that you would be getting BFNs even if this FET was successful!  Give it a couple more days :)

Does anyone else think it's okay to keep this group exclusive to FETs only?  Please let me know if I'm in the wrong here!

  • @wifeinraleigh28 I think you are fine!  It's an FET group, there are IVF groups, there are PAIF groups, there are low amh groups, etc.  They are there so everyone can share together with a common experience!  I love this little group.  And when I start over again, if there isn't a thread for FET's that month I am going to start one!!

@LSatturo126 I am hanging in.  Still moments of the weepies, but overall ready to try again.  I was falling asleep in the beginning and then all of a sudden had energy again...so I do think there is something to lethargy and that emby sticking!  Hoping for some very tired ladies this month.

    FET 2: 11/15/16 transferred 1 CP again!
    FET 3: TBD

  • I agree with @bells52000. I like our little group, I feel like the bigger ones I can't keep up with and there are just so many ppl to keep track of! I feel like we have a very supportive group that are all going through an FET, which is SO different than a fresh cycle.
  • Bells5200 I'm sending you positive vibes!! You got this! I'm staying with all you ladies till you get that BFP just like my low AMH group did for me! No one outside this app knows what it's really like and you need some who understand. I'm so grateful for all of you! Xoxo

@bells52000 Best news you could have gotten today, dear!  I'm glad your body is ironing itself out quickly so that you can move forward ASAP.  Looking forward to hearing what your doctor says on the 28th!

Sorry to hear about the BFN @bells52000, it's so heartbreaking...but don't give up! Fingers crossed for the rest of you ladies in the tww and those who are transferring soon! woohoo! Sorry I've been absent, I'm mostly on mobile during the day....so I've been keeping up with all your stories, but it's so hard to comment that way. Waiting to hear from nurse...had my ultrasound and labs today. My lining still won't budge, stuck at 6mm....I have a feeling I'll be cancelled yet again. Next step would be a Lupron cycle. We shall see!

Don't be sad about it getting cancelled. You want everything to be perfect!! Lupron actually helped me when we were doing retreivals. my lining was like 10! which for me was thick for me. Remember everything happens for a reason and you rather go the best way to get that BFP! Sending you hugs!

  • Thanks @lsatturo126, you are right about everything happening for a reason ;)

  • @ltlavac that's such a bummer your lining won't budge and I get your frustration! Has your lining gotten over a 6 before? Like @lsatturo126 said, it's better to cancel, as disappointing as that is, than transfer when it might not work.
  • @mtbadger yes for my first IVF it was st 9 and that one took...so I'm so confused why it won't budge this time around. Maybe all of those stilling meds for my fresh cycle helped the lining?! Or my lining is damaged after my pregnancy? No clue! I just have to wait and see what my RE suggests. I've got my fingers crossed for you!!

  • That makes it even more frustrating that you know it can get up there! At least with mine, I know mine will never get up here and have learned to let it go, that's just how my body is (still doesn't make it easy though!). I've heard some ppl have really good response to a more natural cycle, maybe ask your RE about that next time? I've read some ppls bodies/linings don't respond well to the synthetic meds and do better when they do a low dose stim cycle to get their body to naturally produce the estrogen and then do a frozen transfer. May be worth talking about? I had discussed this with my RE but even when my estrogen levels were skyhigh from stimming my lining was still only about 6 and my progesterone levels started rising too much so not an option for me. I think my body responds better to the suppositories than oral meds, maybe my liver/kidney process it differently. Hopefully you can find a protocol that works best for you! It might just be trial and error to figure it out.
  • @fatpony I would say that's a definite second line!!! Eeeek!!!! I just got all giddy for you!
  • Firstly I want to say that I love this little group just for those doing FET, I too found the big one too huge to keep up with - especially being in a different time zone! When I wake up I always have have aboht 20 posts to catch up on.. Love it!

@LSatturo126 can't wait for your beta news.. Interesting that you are so tired, little bean or beans draining your energy!  I'm hoping that after tomorrow I'm completely exhausted too! Ha!

@bells52000 I'm glad you're feeling more positive and that things are moving along so you can get ready to start again.
  • @FatPony I'm pretty sure that's a positive!!!! Eeeeeeee!
  • @FatPony that is a great sign!!! When your levels are very low sometimes they take a long time to show up (mine did the same thing).  As your levels get higher it shows up in normal time! That looks like a BFP to me!
    Me: 35  DH: 36
Me: 1, possibly 2, blocked tubes
    DH: severe MFI
    Married and TTC since 2/15
Started stims 7/21/16, ER  8/2 --> 17 eggs, 5 blasts after PGS testing.
    Fresh transfer 8/8/16: Chemical Pregnancy
    FET #1 9/13: PGS tested 5AA, BFN
    Endometrial biopsy 10/18/16: normal result
    ERA test 10/18/16: "receptive" result
FET #2  1/3/17: natural cycle, BFP!!! TWINS!!  EDD: 9/21 (8/31 with twin adjustment)

  • @fatpony that's def a positive!! Exciting!!! Just got my results, I am cancelled and awaiting my Lupron. Hoping October will be my month! Best of luck to all you ladies, I'll still be popping in to see all your good news! Hoping not too many of you will be joining me in october! But if you are lets start a group

  • @ltlavac such a bummer that it's cancelled this month. Fingers crossed that October is it for you! Please stick around and keep us updated on how you are doing!!
  • @ltlavac sorry to hear that, but like some of the other ladies said, everything happens for a reason and better to have your body in the best condition going in. Fingers crossed for October being your lucky month!
  • @FatPony  Yes, that is totally a positive! When I had my first BFP last time at 7dpt, it took like 10 mins or such to show. The more days that go by, the faster and darker it should be. I was even googling evap lines and they look a bit different.

Finally back from from the transfer. Everything went smooth. I saw my acupuncturist before and after the transfer just like last time. During the second session after the transfer I totally zonked out! Beta will be 9/22.

  • @FatPony sure looks + to me!!  FX the bloodwork confirms that.  When is your beta?
